Right now, the Taken Characters list is on the wiki. I want to move it to the journals a la the Concrit Directory and have people comment there when they've been approved for a character. So instead of, say, replying back to the apps post with your character journal, you'd go to the taken characters post and list the following information:
friend add CHAR_JOURNAL
<font size="3"><b>FANDOM NAME</b></font> └ <b>CHARACTER'S FIRST AND LAST NAME</b> // <lj user="CHAR_JOURNAL"> → played by <lj user="MUN_JOURNAL">
As far as the drop post goes, they could also comment to the taken characters post with friend remove CHAR_JOURNAL, thus eliminating the drop post.
Does that make more sense?
Ah, wait, let me give a sample... Say I was just approved for Larry, right? I'd go to the taken characters post and fill out the form like this:
friend add probablythebutz
<font size="3"><b>Ace Attorney Series</b></font> └ <b>Larry Butz</b> // <lj user="probablythebutz"> → played by <lj user="idgiebay">
Then, if I decided to drop him later, I'd go to the taken characters list and post the following:
no subject
