Brittany S. Pierce // Glee 2 of 4

* It’s revealed she and Artie have patched up their differences and are officially dating (‘Furt’)
* She still holds a VERY strong belief in Santa, even going so far as to ask a mall Santa to make Artie walk for Christmas. Coach Beiste dresses up as Santa (at Artie’s request) and and tells Brittany that she can’t give her the thing she wants most that Christmas, instead telling Brittany that she’s going to give her patience. As far as she’s concerned, if she can’t have that one wish, there’s no reason left to believe (‘A Very Glee Christmas’)
* Later that same episode, Artie takes a severely depressed Brittany home where she found an amazing gift under her tree. Her Christmas spirit back, she took Artie and the new gift back to the club room to show the others. As they entered, Artie stood up, thanks to the ReWalk Santa had delivered to Brittany’s house. Thanks to that, her faith in Santa and the holiday spirit is fully restored
* Sue forces the Cheerios to choose between Glee and cheering. While her first decision is thanks to her loyalty to the Cheerios, even that is tested when Sue hatches a surefire way to win Regionals: turning Brittany into a human cannonball and threatening her life in the process. She’s obviously squeamish at the idea but it takes Finn asking her if she really wants to risk her life over doing something she loves. In the end, she chooses to quit the Cheerios (and leave Sue in the dust at Regionals) to remain faithful to her friends in New Directions (‘The Sue Sylvester Shuffle’)

Personality:

Dumb blond. No, really. She’s the stereotypical dumb blond, to the point of saying that recipes confuse her and having issues with remembering the difference between left and right. Now, that said, she’s a good deal kinder and more gentle natured than the other former Cheerios in Glee. Oh, she can get down and dirty with her comments, but that’s usually due to the influence of Santana or Quinn fueling her fire. Left to her own devices, she’s actually quite a caring young woman.

Despite her former promiscuity (she seems to be faithful to Artie so far, thankfully), she still seems to have an air of innocence about her, even so far as to depend on the people around her for guidance. Even though she’s had a recent falling out with Santana, she still trusts her because that’s just her nature.

She’s quite gullible and childish at times (as evidenced by her lingering belief in Santa) and she abhors violence, especially among her friends, but she won’t hesitate to call them out if she feels they need it. Maybe that’s because she seems to lack a mental filter. If she thinks it, it usually comes right out of her mouth. One never knows the things they’ll hear her say.
