Character: Bruce Banner Fandom: Marvel Cinematic Univers Character Notes: History: Once upon a time, Bruce Banner used gamma radiation in an experiment. It went wrong. In rapid succession, it cost him his sanity, his girlfriend Betty, his girlfriend’s father General Ross, a whole lot of running, and army squadrons not too far behind. Ever since said accident, whenever he gets too angry, he turns into a big, green, unstoppable guy we’ll call the Hulk. But that’s just basics, really. Eventually he gave the army the slip, walked the Earth, and ended up in Brazil. Took martial arts classes to regulate his breathing, stopped using credit cards, took up a low paying gig at a factory, and every minute in between, worked on finding a cure for what ailed him. An ally named Mr. Blue passed along information and materials, and he’d put them together only to inevitably end up with nothing. But hey, it was a living.
And like everything else in his life, it goes pear shaped. The army tracks him down via a single gamma radiation poisoning in the states, which came from a bottle of soda from the factory he worked in. The typical running/trying to avoid freaking out ensues, and didn’t end well for anyone involved, but especially the people sent to hunt him down. By the time he comes back to himself, he ends up in Guatemala, and from there hops foot to New York City to speak to do some good old fashioned snooping, as well as meet his contact, Mr. Blue, who’s really Samuel Sterns. Along the way he reunites with Betty, but as per usual the military intervenes. It ends about the same way the last round did, only with the bonus of proving sound waves hurt him and calling in an airstrike just when he was calming the fuck down. Of course.
Things only get worse from there. See, Bruce was working on a replacement for the long lost Captain America super serum formula. And the military, well, they injected said super serum into Emil Blonksy, who’d fought him twice and lost. That obviously didn’t cut it, so he resorts to the same sort of gamma radiation experiments that landed Bruce into this mess. On the plus side, he gets super strength out the wazoo and looks like a truck ran him over. On the negative side, he goes completely batshit insane and becomes the Abomination. Long story short, they have a fight, take out Harlem in the process, and Hulk wins. Again. He even manages to consciously induce a hulk out, but cuts it off before it gets too far. Either way, he vanishes again, and eventually ends up in Calcutta.
It takes a few years for SHIELD to stop by and recruit him. Almost entirely against his will, as he had a nice little set up going while he’d been in India. But he didn’t want to smash up the military guys swarming around the place. Besides, how else could he snoop on SHIELD, who’d been on his suspicious list for years now, if he didn’t show up? So he joins the soon to be Avengers, ostensibly to help them trace down the gamma signature the Tesseract of worldhopping emits. While he’s on the helocarrier, he meets Tony Stark, who wins bonus points for being the first person since Betty to not completely freak out at his presence. Heck, he even gives Bruce blueberries for agreeing that SHIELD’s suspicious as hell. The fact that the helocarrier clearly has a Hulk-proof cage isn’t exactly reassuring either. Put that together with Loki’s mindscrewing and a perfectly timed missile strike, and his three year record without incident gets shattered. He hulks out, chases Black Widow, gets in a fight with Thor, and plummets to the Earth because he jumpkicked a fighter jet and ripped out its insides.
He crash lands in an abandoned factory. When he comes to, he asks a bystander what happened, and the bystander says he controlled where he fell. After he gets some pants and a borrowed motorcycle, he heads to Manhattan for the ultimate showdown vs. Loki’s army, to everyone’s shock save for Tony’s. He voluntarily hulks out, and for the next fifteen minutes of screen time, it’s basically nothing but glorious, awesome destruction. He also throws Loki around like a ragdoll, so that’s good. And, in a very rare non-explosion inducing act from the big green guy, saves Tony’s life when he’s plummeting to earth from another dimension.
Then they all got shwarma and lived happily ever after.
Personality:
The first thing worth noticing about Bruce is that he’s hard to notice at all. He cuts a low profile, partially by necessity but also for preference. He tends to be reserved and quiet, keeping most things to himself whenever possible. He has a sarcastic edge, but his biggest visible traits are kindness and intelligence. He’s the kind of guy who stops a kid from running into the path of a car, and tries to stop a single contaminated bottle of soda from leaving a factory. He’s also extremely intelligent, able to speak fluent technobabble and physics. He spends as much time as possible trying to help people, in any way he can, and that usually means flying under the radar.
Most of this behavior is related to ‘the other guy’: the Hulk. Whenever he’s angry, afraid, or has an elevated heart rate, there’s a pretty solid chance of the angry green giant showing up. He tries as hard as possible to not transform. No, really. He even wears a heart rate meter on his wrist to keep track. He’ll straight up warn people to not bother him and step back if he feels he might lose his very firmly in place lid. He doesn’t have any control of himself when he transforms, or so he believes, and very few memories of what happened in between. The very first thing he asks when he comes to after falling from a plane is whether anyone was in the factory he landed in. He views his smashing alter ego as a curse, one he’s done almost anything and everything to remove.
Unsurprisingly, this leaves Bruce largely pessimistic and weary, especially as any and all attempts at curing it turn up empty. He attempted suicide once, claiming that he hit a low point and couldn’t see a way out. Now, however, he seems to take a more resigned, at points even blackly comedic, view of himself. Now that he seems to have some semblance of a lid on it, he spends the bulk of his time suspicious and bone deep tired of dealing with this. He only joins up with SHIELD to snoop on them, and he immediately suspects (correctly) that the big glass cage they built was for him. He even fakes being angry with the Black Widow, just to see what she’d do about it, and in the process proving the army guys are standing outside the door. He’s more afraid of turning into the Hulk than willing to hurt people, which is a fairly effective check on how one-sided his fights tend to be. He lives an isolated, lonely life, partially by choice and partially by necessity.
Which is why it comes as a shock to him that the Hulk? Isn’t actually all that bad. A terrible curse, yes, but it comes with a gift, too. The Hulk, simply put, is a big angry coating that protects Bruce’s soft, squishy insides. Hell, it’s stated that Bruce shouldn’t even be alive in the first place after his accident. The idea that so much destruction could possibly be beneficial is something completely new to him. He’s spent most of his life since that accident trying to remove and distance himself from the Hulk, but the truth of the matter is, it’s something he actually sort of needs. After all, he claims that his anger is how he’s able to keep a handle on his other half for so long. He just leaves the shores of rage for the lake of tranquil fury. Not only is the destruction something of a benefit, but once it’s proven he can actually control himself while Hulking Out? He can save people, too.
The truth is that there is no ‘other guy’. It’s all him, just different sides of him. The anger is his, just as much as the kindness and intelligence.
Other: Bruce speaks a bunch of languages, including but not limited to technobabble, physics, Portuguese (sorta), and Indian.
First Person (entry type): So. A multidimensional internet community. That’s a first. Not exactly sure where to start with that, either. Well. Except backing away as fast as possible. Unpredictable viruses on an almost equally unpredictable schedule with no exit and people who can get to you at any time? Yeah, not exactly my idea of a good time.
Not like I have much choice in it. Did you know... I mean, it even gave me a phone. What am I gonna do, send it back? I’m not even sure how. I don’t even think the signal I’m getting’s based in this dimension, let alone from this planet.
At this point, I’d take just being able to play snake on this thing.
Third Person: He’s seen a lot of the world by now. The cold and the hot, the bright and the dull, the green and the brown, and everything in between. Sometimes, more often than he’d like but less often than it could be, he doesn’t remember the bits he saw. In another life he never lived much in the first place, it felt like a hangover. The worst kind. The slow shift from the blackness of memory to the too harsh light peaking through the shades. Sitting in the dark, because electricity cost too much and brightness hurt about the same, weighing whether knowing what happened last night was worth it, or if it would be better to never know. Ignorance is bliss, he’s heard some people say, but he never had much truck with it. He always asks.
Where he’s seen, the borders drawn on the map don’t matter as much as the ones drawn in the head and the soul. The dim places of the world where people don’t travel much, and when they do, they don’t talk much, either. Sometimes they show up on TV. Not often. Not memorable. No one likes to be reminded that somewhere on this planet, there are people suffering and maybe, just maybe, they’re part of the reason why. He does what he can with what he can. The hands that could hurt and crush and destroy so easily but don’t, not if he can help it. And if he can’t help it, he’ll find another place to vanish. Not without a trace. That’s too simple. Just a trace nobody’s willing to follow.
The best part about being angry is that there’s always something else that will make you. And if you travel in the same circles as people who don’t have any option but to keep travelling... Well. You learn a few things and take them with you.

Character: Michael Trinity Fandom: Gundam 00
Character Notes: History:
It's damn near impossible to give a history of Michael without mentioning the other two siblings so bear with me.
Still, not...much...is known about the Trinities. Being a test tube baby created from Ribbons' DNA means that Michael is a human/innovade hybrid. The siblings literally appear out of nowhere, first seen in the series saving the asses of the other four meisters. They then mosey on back to the Ptolemaios for some formal introductions but that, uh, doesn't really go very well.
The Trinities see themselves as being a part of Celestial Being, so after that they go on to perform armed interventions with a bit more...enthusiasm than the other meisters are used to. It's not until Nena blows up a wedding attacks civilians that the other meisters jump into action. They fight, but the battle ends in a stalemate and the Trinities retreat.
With the introduction of the GN-Xs to the Earth's forces though, armed interventions become nigh on impossible for the Trinities. They attempt an attack against a military base but are overwhelmed and forced to flee. They are then attacked in Africa by a team led by Sergei Smirnov which results in the HRL capturing their base.
The siblings, now on the run, encounter Ali Al-Saachez who, while pretending to be an ally, shoots Michael in the chest, steals his Gundam, and attacks Nena and Johann. Setsuna saves the day, leaving Nena alive to fight again and, since Michael was a member of the community by that time, he was saved by Batman.
Personality:
Uh, wow. Michael's certainly a personality, alright. He's brash and loud and a lot of the time he acts without thinking, as evidenced by the way he goes after Setsuna with a knife for pushing (punching?) his sister away. He's all impulse; he's not one to deny what he thinks or feels so generally speaking, what you see is what you get with him. That's not to say that there's no depth to him - the Trinities have several layers of messed up to them - but he's pretty much all Id.
To say that he cares about his family would be a massive understatement. He obsesses over keeping them safe and attacks anything he perceives as a threat (like...attacking...Setsuna...after he pushes Nena away). The extent to which he obsesses seems to suggest some sort of conditioning on the part of his handlers, probably to create better teamwork between the three, seeing as they probably aren't actually related.
The whole test tube baby thing aside, they weren't raised normally in the slightest. The Trinities weren't brought up to have even the faintest sense of morality: Michael kills and finds it fun, nine times out of ten his solution to problems is violence, and he has no qualms about taking from others. It makes sense, seeing as though he was created to be a weapon (that pesky morality thing would have seriously gotten in the way) so they couldn't afford to have him experiencing emotions such as guilt. Since I'm reapping him with his memories intact, his sense of right and wrong now are very much like a child's; he works on a basis of won't-do-that-I'll-get-in-trouble. He's nowhere near not quite at the stage of won't-do-that-because-it's-not-right.
Other:
Last time he was here Michael was in possession of a wordhopping watch that Mello gave him when he died. Could he still have that? Also, although it isn't explicitly stated that Michael has the ability to use quantum brainwaves, since Nena can and all innovades can, I don't see why not.
Voice Fuck. Alright. Fine. Shit, I've had tattoos that were easier to shake than this goddamn community. Are you happy now? Is this what you wanted? [And yes, it's perfectly normal to hold a conversation with a website. Especially if you’re Michael Trinity] Did Michel put you up to this because I forgot our anniversary? Is that what this is?
[There's a small thud and then a sigh]
Well I'm here now, so you can kindly just fuck off and give me my browser back.
[Cranky? Who, him? No, why would he be cranky? It's not like the community attacked him while he was uploading data to his terminal and gave him a headache or anything.]
Looks like things have changed since I've been away though. Like seriously, what's up with the domain change? Time for a roll call. I'll start. I'm Michael [Amused] and I'm a student studying aerospace engineering.
Your turn.
Third Person:
Get up, Michael.
He's staring up at the sky as though looking through a tunnel, vision growing dim around the edges. He hears a scream, faint and familiar, and thinks it might be his name.
Get up, Michael.
It's cold out tonight. The tips of his fingers go numb and he's unable to feel the ground beneath him, which is funny because he's always teased Nena for not wearing enough clothing. A tremor passes through the earth and through him, violently, like a shuttle re-entry, and Michael wonders why it doesn't stop.
Get up, Michael.
He exhales, and his breath rattles in his chest, wet and clogging, getting caught in his throat. He coughs and it burns through him like acid, feeling like an explosion going off in his chest. Except the night is lit up like a firework, streaks of light and fire stretching across the sky, so maybe there really was an explosion somewhere nearby. He thinks about the possible causes and hopes Nena doesn't get into too much trouble.
Get up, Michael.
His thoughts are slowing down, sluggish, like he's about to fall asleep, but he's pretty sure there's something he should be doing right now. Johann-nii's going to kill him if he doesn't figure it out but--
But.
No, I need to--
Michael wakes up. Sits up in bed. Scrubs a hand over his face before climbing out of bed. Slapping a hand on the door panel, he floats out into the hallway. Maybe Nena is still awake.

We're sorry. There were two applications for Bruce Banner (the other one had reserved and the app was posted shortly after yours), and we had to pick one, which was a very difficult decision. While your application was definitely good enough to have been approved, we've decided to go with the other one.

Character: Leila Fandom: Fire Emblem (The Blazing Sword) Character Notes: History: One thousand years ago, a war called the Scouring raged across the world of Elibe. The humans and the dragons, who had lived in peace for generations, fought to force each other from the world. Eventually, the dragons were forced into another world through the Dragon's Gate by eight heroes wielding eight Divine Weapons and sealed away.
One of the heroes, Roland, founded a group of allied provinces known as the Lycian League. The ruling province - the one that took the lead when the League needed to work together - was Ostia. And Leila worked for the Marquess of Osita as a spy, one of the best. Her past was somewhat mysterious, but she was one of House Ostia's most trusted agents. She even had something of a relationship with Matthew, a fellow spy.
Leila was ordered to infiltrate the assassin group known as the Black Fang. Originally, they had been a group that worked exclusively to bring down corrupt leaders, but over time their morals had inexplicably changed - at the same time as several mysterious people had inserted themselves into the organization, working under the dark sorcerer Nergal. She was investigating the disappearance of Marquess Pherae, who dark rumors connected to the shadowy organization.
She had been assigned to serve one of the interlopers, an enigmatic man called Ephidel, who orchestrated the takeover of Caelin by the power-hungry Marquess Darin of Laus. She was the one assigned to finally dispose of Marquess Caelin, but she smuggled him into a secret inner room while the Marquess's granddaughter Lyndis led an army to defeat the usurper's captain. Afterward, while Darin and Ephidel fled, she led Lyndis to where she had hidden him, and reported to her allies, Eliwood and Hector, what she'd found out about the Fang.
Leila continued to follow Ephidel as he and Darin fled to the organization's base on the Dread Isle. Sadly, though, she was caught eavesdropping on Ephidel when he was receiving orders from Nergal, and the morph set the Fang's best assassin, the emotionless killer Jaffar, to kill her. Her body was left out in the woods as a "warning" for Eliwood and Hector's group - which, unsurprisingly, backfired spectacularly. She was buried on the Dread Isle, leaving Hector, Matthew and the others all the more determined to thwart Nergal's plans.
Leila is here taken from Laus at the beginning of her infiltration of the Black Fang (just before the beginning of Eliwood's and Hector's story); her death still lies sometime in the future. Personality: Leila is a consummate spy, and even when not about her work, she tends to be quiet, cautious, and collected, able to keep up a facade and a straight face even in the most tense and dangerous of situations and slip into a variety of roles and apparent moods as the situation demands.
When she feels at liberty to relax, though, she lightens up easily, showing a sardonic sense of humor and an optimistic attitude despite the rigors of her job. She's extremely loyal to House Ostia, but that doesn't stop her from enjoying the thrill of her job as well.
Leila loves Matthew deeply; his name the last thing she says as he dies. If she had lived long enough for him to propose retiring and marrying, it's very unlikely she wouldn't have accepted. Other: Leila is a thief and spy. So she's good at lying, sneaking, stealing, and generalized infiltration, and at striking weak points. She is, however, completely nonmagical. Leila will recall her previous time on the community, though it may be a little hazy and I don't even know if any of her previous CR is still around. First Person (entry type): You know, It seems to me that I'd be better off if the community vested itself in something I could carry around more easily. This computer thing is quite fantastic on its own, but I can't hep wondering if some world out there has made… smaller ones. I can hardly lug a heavy pair of boxes around everywhere in case I want to post from somewhere beside my room.
So, community. Are there worlds with very small computers such as one might actually carry around comfortably? Because you know I can't bear to be away from you all again after so long.
Third Person: Leila lurked in the shadows of the hall. Privately, she had to admit she was a little amused despite the high stakes. Marquess Laus, gaping at the defeat of his knight captain, quailing under the strength of Ephidel's personality, dancing for him like a puppet despite his hunger for power. And Ephidel… even hidden behind his dark cloak and his quiet voice, he was awfully dramatic. She watched as Ephidel ordered Darin to retreat and the rebellious nobleman scurried off like a rat.
It seemed Ephidel shared her opinion of Darin. "Pathetic imbecile… Leila? Where are you?"
"I'm here," she replied, stepping out of the shadows. Two or three orders to give… Well, this seemed like her chance.
"While Eliwood is occupied," Ephidel instructed, "finish off Marquess Caelin and hide the body…" As he explained his reasoning, she had to admit it made sense. She knew enough of Lord Eliwood, if mostly through Hector, to know that Eliwood almost certainly would prioritize an old man's body over a fleeing enemy. Never mind that Lady Lyndis was with him, and she even more so would want to find her grandfather's remains. But they wouldn't be remains - not if she had anything to say about it. The knife in Lord Hausen's back had been done well enough, especially for an amateur, but even in his frail state the old man wouldn't die if he got quick enough treatment. And there were loyal servants in Castle Caelin still, who could at least stabilize the Marquess until the army outside made it in and a real healer could see to him.
All these thoughts flashed through her mind quickly, even as she nodded her head. All she said aloud was, "As you command…"
She turned to leave, but froze when Ephidel addressed her again. "You know, you've only been with the Black Fang a short while." Really. All that scheming intelligence and you still state the obvious? "However, you are quite skilled… I look forward to watching you."
"Yes, sir." She picked up the frail old body as Ephidel slipped out, shifting to press a fold of her cloak against the wound to keep at least a bit of pressure on as she carried him. So he would be watching her, would he? Well, that would be interesting. They could see who would watch whom more closely.
Revised third-person sample: Leila frowned a little, realizing her pouch suddenly felt a little lighter. That was a little strange… when had that happened?
She checked through the things in her pouch quickly - yes, there was definitely a packet of papers missing. Well, that wasn't good. Lord Uther would have her head if she came back without those papers… and anyway, there was only a very small group of people who would get any use out of them besides House Ostia. She was going to have to get those back. Now where… oh, yes, it must have been that girl.
Leila retraced her steps back through the market, watching the crowd carefully. She focused carefully on the mouth of one particular alley… then reached out and caught the shoulder of a young girl who was trying to slip past her. "I think we need to talk."
---
Uther's lips quirked a little. "Are you sure you aren't exaggerating a little, Leila?"
"Not at all, sir," she replied, her expression perfectly level. "At any rate, we came to an… agreement. After all, those papers certainly weren't going to help her feed her brother, and on the other hand, we did need them. So I paid her for them; it should be enough for a few weeks if they use it carefully, at least one even if they don't. And I promised I would tell you about her, milord."
"Tell me? Why is that?"
Leila smirked a little. "Because any ten-year-old who can steal from me without my realizing it until I'm halfway back to the castle is more than worth our attention. With training, I think she could be an incredible asset."
Uther covered his mouth, muffling a cough. "I suppose you have a point. I'm trusting your judgement in this, Leila."
"I thought you'd say that, sir. That's why she and her brother are in the anteroom."

Character: Rika Furude Fandom: Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Character Notes: History: -Rika's family has been protectors of the land of Hinamizawa for years- and she was told that she would become the shrine maiden when she was capable enough for it. Even when she was younger, she still had a mature side to her, along with that cutesy attitude.
-When she was born, even back then she had sensed another person near her, and it was none other than the supposed god, Oyashiro-sama. Her real name is Hanyuu, and she would be one of Rika's closest friends, talking only to Rika.
- Hanyuu had taught her these culinary skills which caused her mother to worry. Her mother did not teach her these skills and as people congratulated her on teaching Rika well, she wrote in her diary that she had the suspicion that the Rika she sees everyday was not her daughter. In retrospect, Hanyuu was more of a mother to Rika than her mother was to her.
- As shown above, Rika did not really have a good relationship with her parents. after watching them die for 100 years, she had grown immune to their love.
-One day, after the Watanagashi festival, Rika's parents had died. Her father was found dead- passed out due to some unknown sympton, and her mother had supposedly commited suicide from all the stress. With that, Rika was to take over everything since her parents were gone.
-Not long after all this, she moved in with her friend Satoko, since her parents had died as well, and they continued to live together near the shrine.
-A man named Akasaka had come to the village to investigate some rumors, and he had run into Rika, and Rika told him all about the dam project, and how people would be scorned if they didn't oppose such actions. Eventually, Akasaka returned to Tokyo after some pretty exciting events.
-Years later, a boy named Keiichi showed up to Hinamizawa, and everyone soon became close friends with him, even allowing him to be in the club that Rika was apart of. None of them thought that there would be such tragic events about to happen to any of them.
-One night, men came into the house and grabbed Rika, and took her to the shrine. She was stripped of her clothing, and tied up, gag and all. Then, she was killed by having her stomach sliced open.
-After that, the gruesome Hinamizawa disaster occurred, where everyone was killed, none were left alive. It wasn't yet explained how it was done.
-Hanyuu used her powers to send Rika back in time, to start over again and try to change the fate that was her eventual death.
-Sadly, such events continued to happen, but with slight variations to them. Sometimes Keiichi would go insane and kill his friends, or maybe Shion, the twin sister of Mion, would rampage and torture everyone thinking it was the right thing to do. All these events, everyone believed that it was due to the curse of Oyashiro-sama, and no matter what Rika did, she couldn't find a fragment where she could overcome her death.
-Eventually, she had been sent back in time to only about two weeks before the Watanagashi festival, around the festival was when she would be killed. She didn't feel like fighting anymore, she just wanted to accept this fate and get it over with and find another fragment. That was, until her friend, Keiichi, decided to stand up against destiny, and teach Rika that there was a way to overcome it, she just had to believe in her friends and wish for a miracle.
-She fought this time around, and just when she thought she was winning, the true leader of this whole operation showed themselves to the group. It was none other than Takano, just a nurse at the local clinic. Rika now knew who her enemy was, and even while she was being killed, she continued to stare at Takano, and attempt to burn this memory into her brain.
-Rika will continue having her memories from the last time she was at Drama Drama Duck where she was in between fragments after being killed.
Personality: Rika is a normal girl that is full of energy to the people of the rural village, Hinamizawa. Or rather, was one until that fateful year of 1983 on the month of June. That year quickly robbed her of her chance of living out her days as a normal child. However, Rika’s ancestor and friend, Hanyuu granted her the chance to relive her days to try and change her fate. Most of the time, it ends the same way (albeit with different methods) with Rika dying each time. Only she and Hanyuu are the ones conscious of this seemingly unchanging cycle of fate, but her friends sometimes regains memories from past worlds. There are two sides to Rika Furude, the energetic and playful girl and the more mature, cynical ‘witch’ Frederica Bernkastel.
On the outside, she shows her innocent and cheerful side to everyone, but at times she speaks of dirty and immature jokes. She consoles others by patting their heads which is also considered a friendly gesture from her. Even though she may seem oblivious, as in staring off into space and speaking when it is necessary, she is rather intelligent for her supposed age. She shares wise words at the appropriate times that to others it gives off a peculiar taste, but it comes as to no surprise given the events that have transpired around her.
She is the most happiest among her friends, she would give anything to save them from their unchanging fate of being killed. Rika doesn’t want her friends to worry and hides the truth to them; fearing that they would not believe her after many years of trying. She would even go to the lengths of going against society rules to help her friends hide a body which is shown in Tsumihoroboshi-hen.
Rika refers to her other side as Frederica Bernkastel. She doesn’t give this side a name until Saikoroshi-hen where she named herself after her favorite kind of wine and her full name: Furude Rika. Throughout the series, some of her emotions become more apathetic. This is shown in Minagoroshi-hen when Satoko tells Rika about the prize money for one of their club activities. After repeating the same cycle for the past 100 years, she has become unfazed and thus Rika doesn’t react to Satoko’s exclaimation. Though she quickly covers this up when she tells them that she would buy an unlimited supply of soy sauce and questions everyone else what they would do with this money.
Hanyuu is the only one who really sees her pessimistic side. When Rika is really depressed, she resorts to Bernkastel wine (her father’s favorite wine) to drown out her sorrows. Since her body is not that of an adult’s, she has to water it down in order for it to be drinkable to her.
Even though, she’s lived out her life for at least a hundred years, she still has hope. The tiniest change can spark up excitement to her since it is something that has not happened in that world. Something minor as to having different dinners with Satoko to Keiichi giving the doll he received after participating in the club activity to Mion as something major. Throughout the years, Rika had her hopes slowly dwindle; hoping that things would change as she watched idly, but thanks to Keiichi, she has learned that unchanging fate can be changed. It’s the matter of having the will to change it. He demonstrates this from time and time again, like in Tsumihoroboshi-hen when he saves Rena from resorting to killing like he did in Onikakushi-hen. This brings hope to Rika and she decides to give life another shot, even though it was all for nothing at the end. Though even after that, she continues to believe that she can defeat the fate that chains her.
What she desires the most is to procure a world that would give Rika Furude the chance to save her friends and survive June of 1983.
Other: Rika likes to express herself using the sounds, “mii” (kitten’s meow) and “nipa” (big smile) and also uses sound effects or use silly phrases.
The Hinamizawa festival was once again lively with nature. The booths were colorful and filled with cheerful people, except one Rika Furude. It was a day that couldn’t be avoided even if she wanted to.
“Mii~ Keiichi, Satoko! Over here!” The girl waved over to the two donning upon her shrine maiden outfit. She was supposed to dance the ceremonial dance in front of the shrine today. “It’s nice to see you here in the festival! I hope you see me perform my dance tonight. I really worked hard on it. If you don’t, Oyashiro-sama will surely curse you, nipa☆~” She let out a giggle along with a smile, however these were but a façade, masking her depression.
Even though today was a day of happiness and joy, it also signaled the turning point of this fragment. Rika knew that today would come, but she didn’t think it would come so soon. It must be because of Hanyuu’s power draining. She heaved a sigh and glanced up at the clouds, was there any hope for her in this world?
“I just want these happy times to continue…”
Rika was taken out of her gloomy thoughts by a pat on the shoulder and put on her mask once more. She shouldn’t worry her friends, it was she that should bare the burden of saving them. Getting them involved would surely lead to another bad end.
“Since we’re all here, we should start our club activity right club president?”

Character: Christie Allen Fandom: DOA: Dead or Alive (Film) Character Notes: History: Christie is a professional thief and assassin. In Hong Kong, she and her partner (in more ways than one) Max Marsh, broke into a vault and stole significant mount of cash and diamonds. Max sold her out to the oddly American Hong Kong police ("anonymously") and police infiltrted her hotel room to arrest her. Fresh out of the shower, she took out all of the police bucknaked while simultaneously getting her undergarments on, then drove off on a motorcycle. While making her escape, she receives one of the DOA invitation shurikens and heads off to the island at the promise of a $10,000,000 cash prize to the winner.
When on the plane, she meets up with Max again and does rough him up before they're all told to jump out of the plane with parachutes and get to the main compound before the sun sets or they'll be disqualified. Christie works together with Kasumi and Tina, two other contestnts, to make it to the compound in time, the three of them having mistakenly landed in the wrong spot.
They make it, all the contestents get analyzed in a lab and injected with nanobots to record their abilities and are giving bracelets to indicate their opponent when the time comes. Christie's first opponent is Jann Lee and she wins quickly. That night, she and Max presumably have make-up sex, then plot to break into the vault that contains the cash prize and then some (about $100,000,000 from Donovan) and follow a mysterious source stating the "Helena is the key." Kasumi and Leon busted up their room though so Christie goes to sleep with Tina that night and tells Tina's dad that they're lesbians.
Then Christie and Helena team up in volleyball against Kasumi and Tina for the fun but Kasumi has to go because assassins so they don't finish. Max obtained a photo of one of Helena's tattoos while hitting on her, but it was the wrong tattoo. Once the fighting starts up again, Christie fights Helena (quite necessarily in the rain and mud) and wins, obtaining a memory of a small tattoo with the actual location and code to open the safe. It's in the giant and not at all suspicious Buddha head statue on the island.
Hayabusa went missing and since Christie's friends with Kasumi and Tina at this point, they all go to look for him and bust into the super secret lab and are captured by Donovan (the guy holding the tournament). Donovan locks them up and uses the nanobots in their blood stream to "download" their moves because they were the top fighters into super special cool glasses that let you see fighting move predictions and suddenly develop all the fighting skills. Donovan tests his skills against Hayate, Kasumi's long lost brother, while Helena and Wallaby Weatherby try to bust everyone out and stop Donovan from sending the program to buyers around the world. Eventually Weatherby gets them out and the girls join forces to kick Donovan's ass. Eventually Christie knocks his super-cool glasses off and Kasumi paralyzes him with a needle but it's too late! Donovan activated the island's self-destruct mechanism to kill them all! They all make a run for it and jump off of a cliff into the water while the island explodes. The group gets a boat from some pirates and sail off toward the horizon.
(Incidentally, Max did go to the Buddha to get the money while this was happening, but it got blown up with the rest of the island. Christie is disappoint, but still cool with making out with him.)
A week later, they're back kicking ass at Kasumi's palace where all of the guards are ready to kick their ass. All 300 of them versus Christie, Kasumi, Tina, Helena, and Ayane. Bitches can't even handle this.
Christie Allen | DOA: Dead or Alive (Movie) | Reserved
Personality: Christie won't hesitate to use her physical charms to distract men so that she can totally kick their asses. That said, she's extremely comfortable with her body and knows that she's good-looking. She doesn't have any problem running around in her underwear if that's what will get her out of trouble. She also doesn't have any trouble using her sexuality to play around (ex: Implying that the suggested Tina just sleep with her without underwear but she absolutely insists on wearing panties-- to Tina's Dad). Christie is highly flirty, very playful, and sexy enough to pull it off.
That isn't the only morally questionable characteristic. If she needs something and the person who has it is 80 years old, then she'll kick some extra wrinkly ass to get it. Of course, her skills in fighting far surpass pervy old men getting a peak at her or cracking the nuts of a double-crossing boyfriend. There's a reason she was invited to the Dead or Alive tournament, and it wasn't because she looks good. Christie is an expert fighter, specilizing in She Quan fighting style.
Though Christie initially states that she doesn't work well with groups, she almost consistently works together with Kasumi and Tina or with her partner Max. She shows excellent capability to work in teams, so working alone is likely a past preference more than an actual characteristic of hers.
Despite her flirty activity, if the person she's got affections for pays attention to someone else she does get jealous. She doesn't make a huge show of it, but causing a distraction and making a snarky comment or two to get the attention back is fine by her. (This of course, only applies if she has genuine affection for the individual in question.) Christie's true mistress? Like they say, "Diamonds are a girl's best friend." It's probably why she gets along so famously with Max, since his goals are roughly the same. She'll easily kill for enough money, which is why she doubles as a master thief and an assassin.
Christie's not too bad at art, either, and has an excellent memory. Even during a fight, she's able to memorize a tiny tattoo on her opponent enough to draw a detailed replica hours later. This also pays homage to her attention to detail, quickly noticing the layout of a room and oddities within it (such as a turned head on a statue being the way to open a secret door). Being a master thief means this is somewhat of a job requirement, as is getting out of tough situations no matter what the case.

First Person (entry type): I had some visitors today. They didn't seem to want to share the champaign I'd ordered from room service, but there were a few other services I was able to share with them. [ There's an audible smirk in her voice. It almost sounds sexual. It's not. ]
Let's say it was a visit they're not likely to forget. That said, I was wondering if anyone would offer a girl a place to stay for the night? Had to leave in a hurry and it'll take a bit of time to get out of town. Wouldn't want to let my friends catch up with me before our next playdate, would I? Wouldn't want the fun to end so soon.
Third Person: There was something to be said about diamonds. Harder than most rocks-- they even made blades with them to cut the hardest of metals with. Most appropriate for a girl like her. Money was great and made life absolutely fantastic, but diamonds were a bit more beautiful than bills. Didn't hurt to have both, of course.
Christie checked from side to side before standing, taking the gun from the guard she'd just introduced to the greatest dream he'll ever have and tucking it into the back of her pants. She wouldn't need it if she ran into a few more of these guys, but it never hurt to play it safe (even if she so rarely did so). No one in sight. The blonde quickly moved forward on her toes, silent and deadly as a snake. It didn't take her long to reach the vault. Her eyes rolled up for a moment as she remembered the key Max had gotten for her. 19, 30, 43, 32, 11, 3, 5. Few more numbers than normal. As far as thefts went, this wasn't one of the most trying she'd gone through.
She finished inputting the numbers to get into the secured vault, then turned the handle. It didn't open and Christie's usual smile fell for a few seconds as she heard footsteps. Looked like Max screwed up again. Christie turned around, eyes on the six men holding her at gunpoint.
"I like men as much as the next woman. Six might be a bit of a crowd, though."
A simper pulled to her lips as she put her hands up, the men surrounding her in a matter of seconds. One pulled out handcuffs, but didn't get a chance to secure her wrists. As soon as the cold metal grazed her skin, Christie had elbowed the one to her left in the face while kicking the gun out of the opposite's hands and into his face. Backward headbutt to the man with the handcuffs, a quarter turn and the gun she'd grabbed earlier pistol-whipped another approaching guard. Three consecutive jabs to the fifth one's stomach, chest, and throat, and the last one? Christie flicked her wrist out and sent the half-adjusted cuffs flying off her wrist to strike him straight in the forehead, leaving a clean cut across his skin.
Christie looked around to make sure everyone was good and unconscious and appropriated a new, much larger gun and shot the lock off. Good thing this was a private vault, she might have had more trouble with something with better security. Christie walked in and took in her surroundings, smile brighter when she saw that familiar sparkle.
"You on the other hand, I'd rather like to take home."
