Fandom: The Producers (2005)
Character Notes: This Ulla is from the 2005 movie, not the original.
History: Ulla grew up in Sweden with at least a mother (no other family members are mentioned). That mother brought her up to use her assets wisely and use her sexual appeal to gain favor with the kinds of people who could help her succeed. Eventually, once she was grown up, she moved to America. When she first arrived out of a Roll's Royce, Max Bialystock yelled "When you've got it, flaunt it! Flaunt it!" at her from a window.

This outburst from a "crazy man" as she later refers to him inspired her to write a song called "When You've Got It, Flaunt It" that she uses to audition for Max Bialystock and Leopold Bloom in order to get into their newest show on Broadway. She gets a part with her highly sexual audition, as well as a job as a secretary-slash-receptionist for Leo and Max. She learns about their scheme to close the show early in order to make as much money as possible then go to Rio and has no objections to it, staying as their secretary-slash-receptionist.

Ulla paints the entire office white and tries to seduce Leo, but Leo is resistant at first. Ulla keeps trying, though, because she really likes him and eventually they kiss and become a couple. Ulla gains a star role in the show "Springtime for Hitler" as Eva Braun and does the show splendidly. Unfortunately for Leo and Max, the show is a hit and their plan to scam everyone out of their money goes awry. Max gets captured by the police and Leo hides, so when Ulla shows up and finds him he has a moral dilemma. Ulla convinces him to take the two million dollars in the safe and go to Rio with her, the two get married (Leo wouldn't have sex with her if they weren't), and enjoy their life until Max's trial. Both Leo and Ulla return for the trial to try to help Max out, but Leo and Max end up in jail. Ulla waits for them and becomes a Broadway star in their plays once they get out, starring in many productions after Springtime for Hitler, such as Prisoners of Love and many more.
Personality: Ulla is almost always smiling. Her mother brought her up to be outgoing and showy in order to draw attention to herself, so show-stopping smiles and flaunting her sexuality are huge parts of Ulla's personality.

Ulla is Swedish and has a heavy accent, occasionally slipping into very simple Swedish phrases but for the most part speaking moderately broken English. One of her favorite phrases is "Okie-dookie." There are many English terms that she doesn't understand and will not hesitate to ask about, such as tidy-up. This also causes her to take a number of phrases quite literally, such as "roll them in the aisles" to which she responds she "will try, but there's just so many of them!"

She's very proud of her beauty and makes sure to keep a clean and well-kept appearance. Her clothing when outside of shows are always dresses, usually always in white or blue because these two colors accent her features most. Her clothing itself is often scanty, showing off her breasts and upper legs, and many times revealing panty shots during her dancing.

Ulla is very neat in terms of keeping areas clean, taking "tidy-up" as an invitation to completely paint over and clean Leo and Max's office, to keeping a fairly firm and routine schedule. She wakes up every morning at 5am, then exercises until 7am. She then showers for an hour between 7am and 8am. 8am to 9am is a large Swedish breakfast (many different herrings), then from 9am-11am she practices her singing an dancing. Ulla likes to have sex at 11am, which is why Max and Leo told her to come to work at 11am. Not having to come into work until 11am is probably why she told them that she likes to have sex at 11, since Ulla has no problem with exploiting her body to get what she wants-- to a point. It's questionable whether or not Ulla would actually have a sexual relationship to get what she wants, since she never has a relationship with Max despite that Max and Leo agreed to share everything 50-50.

Beyond getting what she wants though, Ulla is a very sexual being. At one point she tells a judge that the reason that she married Leo was so that she could have sex with him, because Leo would not put out unless they were married. She likes her sex and apparently she likes it from tiny, cute men instead of gruff men or more "manly" types since the only one she has eyes for is Leo.

That said, her behavior is very flirtacious toward all men and when she doesn't get what she wants, she will pull out the puppy dog eyes and pouting, looking down and sulking. She won't actually saying anything about it, but her facial expressions make it much more apparent.

She also gets nervous when her body language isn't enough to convey her intent or she's unsure if her advances are being accepted. Ulla will question the actions or responses of others if she doesn't understand why her cues aren't being responded to, though, so it's not like she gets passive-aggressive if her signals aren't getting across.

What she wants though? She wants to be a successful broadway star and she wants to be liked and appreciated. She will do anything to get there, whether it means playing the coy coquette to get a part in a show or manipulating a man who used to live normally into stealing already stolen money to run off to Rio so that he can love her without distraction. It's all about the love, whether it's from Ulla's fans or her husband.
Other: She's really tall and we never find out what her last name is. Since her first name was so long, Max said they didn't have time to hear it. Once she marries Leo, it becomes Bloom.

Springtime for Hitler

First Person (entry type): Ulla need to practice her English, since Ulla is going to Broadway. Soon Ulla vill be big Broadway star, so it very important Ulla make practice speaking English vell!

Though, Ulla should also be packing. Many dresses. My thoughful mother would want me to make certain that have many beautiful dress as possible to make big impact on perverted producers hiring for show! She is alvays of good idea for making good impression and Ulla want to be ready for anything! Ve always hear about people go to America and have no success even though it promised, but Ulla vill definitely be exception!
Third Person: Ulla took a deep breath as she stood outside of the multiple storied building. Bialystock and Bloom. Those were the names of the two people she was hoping to see. She knew that there weren't official auditions yet.. even in Sweden, auditions for things were held as an official event. No, Ulla intended to wow the producers before she even had competition. She had plenty of money from back home, but she didn't want to wait for others to take the part from her.

That didn't make this any less nerve wracking, since it was her first audition. At the very least, she was fairly certain that the window that crazy man had yelled at her from was the exact room she was going to. Ulla knew quite well she could work that to her advantage. Swallowing her nerves, Ulla put her best smile on and entered the front door to the building. She flashed her smile at the receptionist, golden curls bouncing as she took confident strides toward the staircase. She was in great shape, so taking the staircase was no problem for her, but she still found herself needing to take a few deep breaths before she knocked to request entrance. Nerves. If this went well, she hoped she wouldn't have to worry about it for a long time.
