Re: Estelle Sodis Heurassein - 4/4

First Person (entry type):
I'd like to say today was beautiful, but everytime I look up at the sky, I'm reminded of the threat to our world. The Adephagos... everything became so chaotic when it was revealed, and Yuri... Yuri's missing. I know he's not dead, we all know it. He has to be alive. That's why we're all ...we're all working hard. Yuri wouldn't want us to sit around and mope. While everyone else is doing what they can, Repede and I are looking for Yuri too.

We're going to find him. Then, we'll defeat the Adephagos. All of us, together. For the sake of the world.

Third Person:
"Hold on Repede, wait up!" Estelle called after the dog loping easily ahead of her into town. The dog paused to regard her patiently, but was quick to move on again once she drew near enough.

"Do you think he's here?" Estelle glanced around Halure, her clenched hand pressing against her chest, hopefully.

Repede shook himself, and trotted purposefully further into town, sniffing here and there. Estelle took it as a no, and started to follow, pausing only when she heard someone call out to her. An elderly man had fallen, stumbled somehow. Estelle quickly moved to his side, "Are you hurt? Wait, don't move yet." She knelt, looking the man over for injuries, dimly aware of Repede wandering over, pausing a short distance away to observe.

"You'll be all right. Let me help you up." Estelle offered a shoulder to the man, smiling as he thanked her. "May I ask you a question?" Estelle continued, determined to see the man safely home. Repede trailed behind them, his tail swishing back and forth and his ears pricked forward. He knew what she was going to ask.

"Have you seen another man, a bit taller than me, dressed all in black, with long black hair and eyes? He... He may be injured." She hoped not.

"No, my dear, but I'll keep an eye out for him, for you." The elderly man replied. "I can't thank you enough for your assistance."

"Oh..." Estelle glanced at Repede, then back to the man, doing well to hide her disappointment. "No, think nothing of it. Thank you, um -" Aaaand Repede was walking away again. "Um, I have to go - but please, be careful and take care of yourself." Hastily, Estelle clasped her hands in front of herself and bowed twice, turning away, "Repede wait!" She called again, hurrying after the dog - who again waited, just ahead of her, before the two continued their search.

The old man smiled after the girl, then scratched his head. "What an odd pair. She almost looked like..." Pause. "Nah." And inside he went, where he could rest his weary bones, with hope for the future that young'ens like that one still had respect for the elderly. How nice.
