Other: Since Cas is an angel, he's powerful as all get out. His abilities include but are not limited to: ❖ His powers come from his ~grace~, which is basically the energy that makes angels … angels. If they lose their grace somehow, they become mortal. ❖ In addition to being a big ball of glowiness approximately the size of the Chrysler building that can possess people, he can speak to people through electronics, such as radios or televisions. Which is pretty funny considering how… thoroughly baffled he is by using devices such as cellphones manually. ❖ Their appearance can cause physical phenomena, like lights flickering or a sudden wind. ❖ He has superhuman strength. ❖ He can teleport through time and space. Additionally, he can take other people with him. According to Dean, it's not a very pleasant experience. ❖ He can look into the eyes of other angels and be able to tell if they're lying or not. It's not clear if this extends to humans, too, but it probably does. ❖ He can heal himself and others. It's pretty fucking hard to kill an angel. You need a magical stupid looking sword. ❖ By placing two fingers to a person's forehead, he can alter memories or render them unconscious. ❖ He can exorcise demons from humans by touching them. ❖ He has telekinesis. Angel have… a lot of abilities, okay. ❖ He can go to Hell to perform human rescue missions.
HOWEVER, in the canon point I'm taking him from, he's lost a lot of these abilities because Heaven is pissed off at him. But he's still pretty powerful, and I'll probably put up a permission post for him … possibly being able to just ~know~ things about people.

After a minute or two of this, he gives up and starts talking.]
Dean. Dean. Are you there? Something is wrong with my phone. This isn't funny. I'm running out of minutes, and this is taking up battery time. I don't understand what ducks have to do with anything. Why are there waterfowl on my cellphone screen? It wants me to post. How do I--

Castiel hadn't been keeping track of how long they'd been waiting, but he was fairly sure it had to be several hours of human time at this point. He should have known better than to embark on this mission with Gabriel. Anna was more trustworthy, despite her betrayal. But he'd been a betrayer too, hadn't he? That's what the three of them were. A ragtag team of mostly fallen angels out on a search for their deadbeat dad. And as furious-- well, as much as he was capable of being furious, which felt like more and more these days-- as he had been with Gabriel for turning his back on their entire family, he couldn't deny that their chances of finding God were much higher with him in tow. He was the one who'd actually spoken with Him, after all.
He hadn't exchanged words with Anna since Gabriel left, but it didn't feel strange in any way. He didn't mind sitting quietly and waiting.
Until he thought of the Winchesters. It always seemed to annoy Dean when he resigned himself to that. But they weren't there.
He missed them, he realized.
But this was a journey he had to embark on alone. Let Dean and Sam set off on their impossible task. Trying to kill Lucifer. It was insane. This plan was better by miles.
Oh. There was Gabriel. Finally. He regarded him with the same blank stare that he usually regarded the world with, only with a special dash of annoyance just for his brother.
"My vessel's becoming overheated from waiting outside. … It's uncomfortable."
