Personality: Knives Chau was a shy and quiet girl. She never went out so much. She focused on school before she dated Scott Pilgrim. Later on, Knives becomes energetic and more outgoing. She is determined to fight for what she believes is right, and who she loves. At the of the movie, she matures and moves on. However, she’s still young. Generally, Knives is polite to other people, and is willing to make new friends where ever she goes. She is definitely optimistic and enthusiastic. She is quite tough for her age. She falls in love easily. (She’s trying not to do that anymore.) Also, Knives has a habit of talking too much, whether it is to other people, or even possibly herself. She tends to be emotionally expressive. It shows whether she is happy, bored, depressed, angry, and so on.

Other: Knives maintains her good grades in school by studying hard. Like her namesake, she can wield throwing knives and swords. Her favorite bands are still Sex Bob-Omb and the Clash at Demonhead. She loves playing Ninja Ninja Revolution, especially with other people, and plays well. She doesn’t speak Chinese because she doesn't really understand it.
