History: - was supposed to defend Zak Gramarye but Zak replaced him with Phoenix Wright after Kristoph failed at playing poker
- Kristoph was like SAY WHAT and he forged evidence, slipping it to Phoenix who presented it like a silly person and got himself barred
- seven years later, Phoenix was accused of murdering some guy called Shadi Smith over a poker game
- Apollo Justice defends Phoenix and by the end of the trial, with Phoenix's help, shows that the actual culprit was in fact Kristoph Gavin
- AND THEN CASES HAPPEN
- Vera Misham is accused of poisoning her own father, a forger and in fact the forger who forged the evidence Phoenix used in that ~fateful trial~ seven years ago - also the forger is a fake because Vera is the real forger
- AND THEN VERA IS POISONED IN THE MIDDLE OF HER OWN TRIAL
- tl;dr Kristoph arranged for Drew Misham to get a poisoned stamp but he didn't use the stamp until seven years after getting it, leading to the present murder trial. Kristoph put poison in Vera's nail polish because she bit her nails when she got nervous and he knew that if she ever had to go outside, she'd bite her nails, get poisoned and thus never reveal his involvement with the Mishams
- EVENTUALLY Phoenix puts the pieces together and he and Apollo bring to light the whole story behind the case and show that Kristoph is the real culprit in everything
- Kristoph has a massive freakout and his final moments in the game are simply the echoes of his maniacal laughter in the courtroom
