First Person (entry type)- prompt: Someone important to you
...How many of you have brothers and sisters?
How many of you want to DECK your brothers and sisters?
[locked to friends]I'm not a kid anymore, Derk. I'm a PILOT, for Christ's sake. I'm old enough to hang out with boys, and if... he... offers me weed I'll just say no. I thought he trusted me...
And I kind of need to do this sort of thing so I can keep my guns and swords and the Energy Sheath working and more powerful, too. I love him, and I know he means well, but I feel like he wants me to stay his little sister that he protects.
It's my turn to protect him.
Dammit.[locked]
Third Person (better than expected):
Sara takes a moment to frown at her reflection in the still water of the Bay, then she draws her arms to the side and pushes in.
Keenan blinked. "...Girl, what the ever-loving lord are you doing?"
"Trying to make my boobs look bigger," she - there was no other word for it - whined.
Keenan choked off his spluttered laughter at Sara's dirty look. "Sorry, s'just... okay, enlighten me. What's movin' a letter or two up gonna do for you?"
"Come on, Kaycee." Sara looked him in the eyes with a frown she didn't realize was utterly rediculous. "If I look more like a woman and less like a girl, SOME PEOPLE might stop TREATING me like a girl."
Keenan sighed. "Sara, you're a sweetheart, but it do not be workin' that way. All that'll happen in your brother's eyes is 'oh great, now I'll have to beat off boys with a stick instead of a glare.' Sides, you ain't exactly got the smallest boobs in the world."
"I'm an A-cup," Sara snarls.
Keenan grinned.
"What?" Sara said.
Keenan reached around her and squeezed her, experimentally.
"...h-hey!" Sara said, more out of surprise than indignation - Keenan was kind of that way, and kind of cute.
"Bullshit," he said. "B. On your frame, and with the sweaters you wear, that counts for a hell of a lot, girl. Count your blessings. Not everyone can have Anna's rack."
Sara thought about this, then grinned. Fangs. "Yeah, they'd look kind of odd on you - ow!"
Sara swung wildly in retaliation for Keenan's cuffing her, and missed, and then started to chase him while waving her firsts, both laughing the whole time.
We're sorry, but this application has been rejected. We do not get a sense of consistent character from this application; it also doesn't quite mesh with the character sheet provided. We would suggest reexamining her personality and working on making sure it comes through in the samples. Please feel free to reapply.
