Third Person: (taken from app to r_29) Simon paced back and forth. This wasn't right, this wasn't right, this wasn't right. He'd never seen anything like this—grass and trees and … the only place he'd ever seen that was that hot spring he didn't want to remember that hot spring, that hot spring had been one of the worst experiences of his life until that point. And that hot spring was some of his last memories of Kamina— There was nothing reassuring, nothing like home, nothing like any home he'd ever been in. There was only a little sand—a beach, but nothing like the beach back home. The sky was different. The sun didn't seem to shine as bright, the clouds weren't as soft, and the sky wasn't half as bright blue. He hadn't seen the stars, yet, but he knew even those would be unfamiliar. “Houses” surrounded him like the homes dug into the cave walls, how could anyone stay in one place like this?, and something was softly following him. He wanted to call it music, but it was like no music he'd ever heard before.

… He didn't even have Boota. A note of pain resonated in his heart as he thought about facing the future in this place without Boota. They were companions, side by side, always with each other since long before any plans to break out of the underground. Boota was Simon's constant companion. And he didn't know how he felt about taking off on this journey alone.

… Okay so maybe not alone. He stared at the pokeball in his hand. How did that... creature... fit in there? What was he supposed to do with it? Fight? This had to be a joke, right? What out there couldn't Simon take on himself? He sighed. This seemed like one of the schemes Kamina would really get into.

Calming down, finally, Simon stared at the path again, scratching his head. First things first—he had to find Nia. Nia always came first. He pocketed the ball, taking the first step onto the path.

Once he found her, he'd bring her home. And that was the end of it.
