Rarity|My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic|3/?

Personality: Rarity's a priss. She's beautiful, she's fabulous, and she absolutely adores fashion. She knows that it's not the most important thing in the world (that's friendship, silly), but it's high up there. Her hair gets ruined at least once an episode and she still acts like it's this huge, horrible thing when it happens. Aside from her interest in her appearance, Rarity is somewhat stuck-up in other ways. For example, when she's told that Twilight is taking Pinkie Pie to the gala over her, she forgoes manners and immediately tells Twilight that she deserves it more because it will improve her social standing and give her a (small, but she doesn't pay attention to things like probability) chance to meet the prince. She loves to be the centre of attention and tends to presume that she shoulde be; when Spike was overly hinting that "a powerful unicorn" (i.e. Twilight) should demonstrate real, Rarity assumed that he was talking to her. Speaking of poor Spike, he's got a raging crush on her, but she barely realizes that he exists.

Despite all this, Rarity is a good person -- er, pony, and it's not hard to see why the other ponies stick around her. She's always willing to help people out (even if people don't need or want her help), and she gives of herself (which should be obvious by this point). Her own interest in superficial things like beauty actually makes her sympathetic towards other people who are worried about things that everyone else just brushes off as nothing important. She's ambitious, full of dreams for the future and on the way to making them happen. Finally, she may care about looking nice, but in the end, having a beautiful heart is more important to her. She believes in her friends and will sacrifice her happiness for their own, and she's easy to get along with. She's often sought out if the others need advice.

Other: Unicorn ponies like Rarity have magic. Unlike Twilight, whose talent IS magic, Rarity can only use certain types of spells related to her own talent, beauty. With her magic, she can set up decorations, poof clothes and accessories on and off of people, instantly do someone's hair, and other such things. She can also use magic for small feats of telekinesis like writing or opening doors, but that's it.
