Nymphadora Tonks - Reserved Application - 6 of Several
Overall, she is a good person. She fights on the side of angels. It is her duty to help and to do what is right. She will lend her assistance (despite perhaps the other person not wanting it) if she can. She has a lot of good features such as being trustworthy, loyal, friendly, dependable, honest, funny, hard-working, and she’s brave. Tonks also wasn’t born swinging from the stupid tree. She can be pretty clever, surprisingly clever.
However, she also has some bad flaws. She is honest, sometimes painfully so. Some people might say that Tonks doesn’t have a lot of tact and they would not be wrong. She doesn’t see much need to sugar coat things and so she just tells it like it is. Tonks is not a very good judge at determining when situations are delicate. She will, and has, blurted out inappropriate things. It’s not because she’s trying to cause alarm, she just can’t help herself sometimes. Was her ability to lie mentioned? If not, it should be. Tonks scares herself with her ability lie at the drop of a hat. Tonks is also not afraid of bossing around a person.
She can be a very spiteful person. While she claims that she doesn't care so much if she's insulted, she does when her friends or loved ones are. When they have been, Tonks can be quite ruthless in her defense of them. Not unlike other members of the Black family, she knows what to say to cut someone down. Even cutting someone down isn’t enough for her sometimes. There have been a few occasions where Tonks has gone after the would-be-attacker to try and get more revenge.
Underneath it all is a young woman who isn’t too sure of herself more often than not. She’s very good at playing the confidant role. A psychologist might say that Tonks is clumsy because deep down she's truly not comfortable within her own skin, hence the outward reflection of that. She wouldn't say that. In a good-natured tone, she'd tell you that she had to have one good flaw otherwise she would be perfect and perfection is never fun. She’s even good at lying to herself.
Despite her brashness and straightforwardness, Tonks knows how to be a team player. She knows how to follow orders and take command. She’s a clever girl and has a unique perspective that can sometimes help her get out of sticky situations.
Tonks is a dead klutz. If it were possible, she is clumsy enough that she could trip on her own shadow and impale herself with her own wand. She sometimes doesn’t know when to shut it or when to stop. This unfortunate Black family trait has led to some interesting times if not dangerous ones. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if Tonks realizes how much trouble she could get into or if she just doesn’t care.

Personality: Tonks is like one of those rainbow colored, bouncy balls that you get out of a vending machine. You could say that she’s like a parfait, no, better make than an onion. Is there anyone who doesn’t like a parfait? No. Parfaits are delicious. Are there people who don’t like onions? Yes, yes there are. That is why Tonks is like an onion. She has layers, not everyone likes her, and she can make a person cry.
The Good
Overall, she is a good person. She fights on the side of angels. It is her duty to help and to do what is right. She has a lot of good features such as being trustworthy, loyal, friendly, dependable, honest, funny, hard-working, and she’s brave. Tonks never would have been asked to join the Order if she wasn’t a good person or brave. She never would have been given the task of being part of the Advanced Guard and guarding Harry if she couldn’t be trusted.
She’s smarter than she lets on (most of the time). In order to qualify for entrance exams, an applicant must have at least five NEWTs in hard subjects. Despite having Snape as a professor, she was able to get an ‘O’ in Potions on her OWL exam, a qualification that was necessary in order to take his advanced class. Aside from getting high marks on exams, in order to qualify for Auror training, an applicant must pass a series of aptitude and personality tests. Tonks never would have made it if she was going to crack under pressure. According to her father, her cleverness has allowed her to escape tough spots before.
The Neutral
She is painfully honest and without much tact, such as when she talks to Mad-Eye and asks him who does he know that lost a buttock and if he cares that washing his eye is disgusting. Tonks doesn’t feel the need to sugar coat things so she just tells it like it is. This trait could be either very good or annoying. It’s not as though she intentionally wants to be inappropriate, it’s just that she doesn’t think about it. For example, after Bill Weasley was injured and Fleur declared that she still wanted to marry him, Tonks made her intentions toward Remus perfectly well known. It wasn’t the time or the place, she said it just the same however.
The Weird
Tonks is a klutz. If it were possible, she is clumsy enough that she could trip on her own shadow and impale herself with her own wand. With Tonks, tripping over her own shadow just might be possible. At 12 Grimmauld Place, she is forever tripping over an umbrella stand. She’s also very good at knocking over plates. A psychologist might say that Tonks is clumsy because deep down she's truly not comfortable within her own skin, hence the outward reflection of that. She wouldn't say that. In a good-natured tone, she'd tell you that she had to have one good flaw otherwise she would be perfect and perfection is never fun.
It should be noted that her powers are tied into her emotions. Normally, she has no problems with her morphing abilities. However, when she is depressed and under a tremendous amount of stress, she loses her ability to change her appearance.
The Bad (Mostly Headcanon)

She got an awful lot of detentions in Hogwarts.
