Character: Anastasia Tremaine Fandom: Disney's Cinderella Character Notes: Please note that while 'Cinderella 3: Twist in Time' was made after 'Cinderella 2: Dreams Come True,' I'll be placing the events of 2 before 3, as that is the only way I could get the order of certain events to make sense. Also I overdid it beyond belief may have included a few details that weren't needed. I kind of really love Anastasia, and I apologize for the novel I wrote you. History: Anastasia Tremaine grew up spoiled. At a very young age, her mother remarried a moderately wealthy man with a child of his own. For a while, Anastasia and her sister Drizella lived peacefully with the young girl, but soon their stepfather grew sick and died. After that, their mother took over the household. Anastasia's stepsister became known as Cinderella, as sweeping cinders out of the fire place was only one of many chores she was put in charge of. Anastasia grew up with Cinderella at her beck and call, and therefor became selfish and bratty. Her mother taught her to think of herself as better than everyone else, especially Cinderella.
Things changed a bit when Cinderella married the Prince. Suddenly, Anastasia and Drizella were required to look after themselves and take care of the house, with little to no help from their mother. Things quickly fell into chaos, with dishes piling up, laundry everywhere, and dust covering everything. Needing a break, Anastasia wandered off into the woods, dreaming of marrying her own Prince Charming. There, she stumbled onto Cinderella's anniversary party, where she learned that Cinderella's Fairy Godmother had orchestrated most of the events of the previous year. Anastasia managed to grab the magic wand and brought it back to her mother. Once the wand's power was proven, Lady Tremaine used it to turn back the previous year to when the Prince's servants had come looking for the girl who fit the slipper. With her newfound magic, she charmed the glass slipper to fit Anastasia before Cinderella could even get down the stairs.
At the palace, the Prince knew instantly that Anastasia was not the girl he danced with. Another quick spell from Lady Tremaine took care of that, and soon they were planning the wedding.
Life in the palace wasn't all it was cracked up to be for Anastasia. While she quickly grew close to the King, she wasn't receiving what she truly wanted from Prince Charming: True love. She soon began to feel guilty, though she believed that she was getting everything she wished for.
During all this chaos, the mice, Jaq and Gus, found Prince Charming and told him all about the spell he was under, with some new information: Lady Tremaine had banished Cinderella from the land. The Prince was able to save her from the ship carting her away, but the Tremaine's fled before they could receive any punishment. This helped Anastasia realize that the Prince didn't love her, and the guilt set in further.
Lady Tremaine, however, was not quite ready to give up. While Cinderella was getting ready for her wedding, Lady Tremaine cast a spell on Anastasia to make her look exactly like Cinderella. Anastasia was clearly uncomfortable with this plan, but before Cinderella could convince her to change her mind, Lady Tremain transported Cinderella out of the castle, and into an enchanted pumpkin that was leading her straight to her death. With the help of the mice, Cinderella excaped just in time to crash her own wedding.
Dressed as Cinderella, Anastasia's guilt finally got to her, and instead of saying 'I do,' she said 'I don't.' Confronted with her mother's rage, Anastasia admitted that all she wanted was for someone to love her for who she was. She was almost cursed by her mother, but Cinderella stood in front of her, and the prince defended both of them with his sword, deflecting the spell onto Drizella and Lady Tremaine, who were transported elsewhere and turned into frogs.
Anastasia transformed herself back, and gave the wand to Cinderella. Together, they summoned the Fairy Godmother. Anastasia left the wedding, but escaped punishment, and in fact was told by the King that everyone deserves true love.
A few weeks later, as Cinderella was just settling into her role as a Princess, the Kingdom held another ball. Anastasia was living back with her mother and stepsister, who (presumably as a side effect of the backfired curse) treated her much as they had before, but with a bit more favoritism towards Drizella. Likewise, Anastasia had reverted to her spoiled self, but with a softer side hidden away from her mother. While out shopping the day before the ball, Anastasia met and fell in love with a baker. Her mother forbade her from speaking to him, insisting that Anastasia woo a nobleman at the ball.
Luckily for Anastasia, Cinderella had witnessed their meeting, and made it her mission to get them together again. With help from her animal friends, she lured them to each other. This second meeting was a bit of a disaster, resulting in Anastasia crashing into the bakery. Humiliated, Anastasia fled.
Feeling guilty, Cinderella followed Anastasia. She convinced her to come back to the castle, where she gave her a makeover. At first, Anastasia insisted on overdoing it, a trait taught by her mother. She wanted the finest of everything, and was sure that beauty was the most important part of love. With help from her step-sister, Anastasia (slowly) learns that it's what's inside that counts.
The next day, Anastasia and the baker each bought a wreath of flowers for the other. Unfortunately, Anastasia spotted the baker asking a woman if Anastasia would like the flowers, and assumed he was in love with the woman. The baker ran after her, but a goat stole his wreath just before he found her, leaving him with only a tiny, broken flower. Proving that she had learned to look beyond appearances, Anastasia tucked the flower into her hair.
Anastasia had grown up in more ways then one. When her mother caught her with the baker, Anastasia stood up to her, and told her she was going to the ball with the baker.
And they lived happily ever after. The End.
Personality: If accepted, I'll be playing Anastasia from the beginning of Cinderella 3 (As that basically rehashes the first one anyway, and Anastasia was extremely unlikable in the first movie.). Anastasia starts off spoiled and arrogant. She was raised to think she was better than everyone else, and that she deserves only the finest things. However, unlike her mother and sister, she is capable of kindness towards people, so long as being kind doesn't get in the way of what she wants. As she gets older, Anastasia is beginning to suspect that there is more to the world than what her mother wants her to see. She is realizing that how she treats others affect how others treat her. And, more than anything, she's a romantic. She wants the love her step-sister found, and can't understand why she doesn't have it yet, if looks are really the key to everything. With a little help from outside influences, like Cinderella, Anastasia is growing up. Additional Links: http://disney.wikia.com/wiki/Anastasia_Tremaine

First Person (entry type): I just don't understand.
Mother says we're better than Cinderella. She says that Cinderella is nothing more than a scullery maid, and that we should treat her as such. Mother says that, with step-father gone, Cinderella is an orphan, and us allowing her to live in our house is more than anyone else would give her.
And Mother taught me that she is always right.
So why does Cinderella get to go live in the castle? What makes her so special? She's a maid. Mother says that Drizella and I are ladies. If that's true, then why does Cinderella get everything? Why does she get to be a princess, and find true love?
I never get anything I want! It's not fair!
Third Person: Anastasia was always careful with how she looked. Mother said the key to finding a husband was beauty, and Mother would know. Mother had been married twice.
But then, Mother was far more beautiful than Anastasia could ever hope to be. Anastasia was plain, if not ugly. Her hair was too curly, her nose too round.
Anastasia dabbed a bit more makeup on, hoping that could conceal the worst of it. There was to be a ball tomorrow. Eligible bachelors, men of nobility and wealth, would come from every corner of the kingdom. With enough rouge on her cheeks, one of them had to notice Anastasia.
Someone there would love her. She was sure of it. Mother gave Anastasia everything she wanted. Mother would never want her to be upset. If Mother said a nobleman would marry Anastasia, it would happen.
But then... Mother had also said Anastasia would marry Prince Charmont, and that hadn't happened. Cinderella had married him.
Cinderella, who only wore old clothing. Cinderella, who never touched a bit of makeup. Cinderella, who was a scullery maid.
