For more details into the game. Doc Brown will be used for the normal wacky adult scientist from the movies. Citizen Brown is an alternate timeline version of Doc Brown, however Emmett is still his past self. Emmett is Doc Brown as a 17 year old.
It’s About Time; Six months after the end of Back to the Future 3, Doc Brown is missing, due to the fact Doc Brown disappears during the Delorean’s first test run, on October 26th, 1985. Delorean comes out of nowhere with Einstein with a tape recording from Doc Brown, saying that if Marty is hearing this Doc Brown needs Marty's help, then or maybe it's in the future. Turns out, in June of 1931, Doc Brown was in the past and was mistaken for the speakeasy arsonist and is slain on Hill Valley Courthouse steps. Marty goes back to the day before of the incident and talks to Doc Brown in jail and they discuss how to get Doc Brown out. This involves talking to Emmett, and pushing Emmett to finish his project on the Rocket Power Drill. Marty, finds Emmett but Emmett denies his passion for science and states that law is his one true love as well as denying that Emmett is afraid of his father Judge Brown. Marty goes back to Doc Brown in jail to have him listen to Emmett on a tape recorder. Doc Brown remarks on how Doc Brown forgot how uptight Emmett is. Giving Marty the answer to Emmett’s math brain teaser that Emmett is mumbling, Marty goes back and gives Emmett the answer from Doc Brown. Marty convinces Emmett that if Marty can get alcohol, Emmett will finish his Rocket Power Drill. Later on, in Emmett’s lab, Emmett and Judge Brown bicker off screen about Emmett’s passion to be a scientist, and wishy washy dreams and not the practical career choice of a judge. Marty takes the Rocket Power Drill from Emmett in order to save someone close to both of them.
Get Tannen; Marty and Doc go back to 1986, thinking the timeline is just fine. However, Doc soon comes back from the bank. Hill Valley has been taken over by the Tannen's.
Doc Brown and Marty go back to June of 1931. Doc Brown outside the movie theater remarks to Marty how he loves science fiction. As well as, how when Emmett sees the movie Frankenstein this will inspire Emmett's problem with Emmett's prototype flying car, for the Hill Valley Science Expo. Emmett's prototype car, however will be a complete failure but jump starts Emmett's career as scientist. Since Doc Brown is still in trouble with the law, Doc goes to the motel and tells Marty to look for Doc there if Marty should need Doc Brown.
Later on, Marty comes back with Arthur McFly and tells Doc Brown that Trixie won't turn Kid Tannen into the police unless Arthur comes back. Doc Brown manages to convince Arthur that the three of them have to go to Kid Tannen's Speak Easy and no harm will come to Arthur.
Meanwhile, out in the courthouse clock tower courtyard, Emmett is working on his prototype car, with Einstein as the lab rat. Emmett tells Marty that his fight with his father was a long time in coming and the Rocket Power Drill is "all water under the bridge." Einstein crashes onto the courthouse rooftop. Marty goes back to Doc Brown, whom develops a plan. Tells Marty to distract Emmett while, Doc Brown will rescue Einstein. Marty distracts Emmett with getting Edna Strickland to bicker about Emmett's absurd experiments.
Doc Brown, Marty and Arthur go to Tannen's Speak Easy. Gun shots are heard. Doc Brown manages to get away to the courthouse courtyard.
Kid Tannen gun points Emmett on the rooftop, across from the courthouse. Doc Brown asks Marty from below, "What is going on up there?" Marty replies that Kid Tannen has a gun to Emmett's head. Doc remarks back, "Great Scott!" Before telling Marty to trap Kid in the prototype flying car. Emmett manages to disarm Kid. Marty traps Kid in the prototype flying car. Emmett gets the credit for capturing Kid Tannen. Emmett impresses Eden Strickland that one of those inventions of Emmett's is useful. Doc and Marty start to leave as they watch from above Emmett and Edna going to the theater to see Frankenstein. So, they think. When Marty tells Doc Brown that Emmett and Edna are rather into each other, Doc Brown in alarm and tells Marty to turn back. However, it's too late and Doc Brown fades away.
Emmett Brown| Back to the Future| Spoilers and Triggers| 3/?
Citizen Brown; Doc Brown is now Citizen Brown to an alternate 1986. Citizen Brown is very practical as he states to Marty, "This time machine sounds impractical and dangerous." Citizen Brown questions why in Marty's supposing alternate reality, why Citizen Brown would build such a device. Marty replies, "For the hell of it, I guess." Marty yammers on how things should be and that Marty is Emmett's pal in 1931, which Citizen Brown claims impossible and will let Marty's insanity run its course. Marty points out in the picture from August 1931, in Citizen Brown's office, that there Marty and Doc Brown are in the background. Citizen Brown gets a magnify glass and behold what Marty said was true. However, Citizen Brown doesn't believe his utopia has flaws. Citizen Brown over hears his wife, Edna's speech to Marty on how she manipulates her husband Citizen Brown. That Citizen Brown's wishy washy way of life of believing that there is good in everyone, unless proven otherwise, is bad. As well as, Citizen Brown's or rather Emmett's absent mind of having distractions without Edna's guidance when her and Citizen Brown where younger. Citizen Brown sees the errors of his ways and agrees to help Marty to fix the Flux capacitor. Citizen Brown goes to do that, however Edna kidnaps her husband to brainwash and rebuild his personality.
Double Visions; Marty saves Citizen Brown from Eden's brainwashing and Citizen Brown goes over to his hidden lab over by Clayton Ravine, to repair the Delorean. This takes Citizen Brown six months to rebuild the Delorean. Which to Marty it has only been a few minutes. However, this worries Citizen Brown, as he states something is wrong with the Delorean. Marty and Citizen Brown have also gone back too far. Rather than June of 1931, it is now August of 1931. Citizen Brown talks with Edna in the past, though you have no idea of what. Emmett on the other hand is tripping over his feet in love for Edna. As Emmett remarks it's remarkable that anyone has any interest in Emmett. Emmett does many things to please Edna; even wearing the grandfather suit Edna gave him and can't wait to complete the Mental Alignment Meter that Edna is inspiring Emmett to complete. Which Emmett explains will diagnose mental disorders of people in therapy so they have proper treatment. At least, that's Emmett's vision in the long run.
Emmett also remarks that Edna keeps Emmett on track with working with kissing every forty - five minutes. She keeps remarking how much of a scatterbrain Emmett is. Which Emmett is as during finishing the Mental Alignment Meter, Emmett gets his white suit messy, and in which Emmett comments it’s impossible to not get messy. However, with scientific ingenuity has his suit clean.
The day right before the Expo at Hill Valley, Emmett's Mental Alignment Meter result is tampered with by Marty. When Emmett's suit is dissolved in front of Edna and then she goes to put Emmett's punch card into the Alignment Meter and the result, with some Marty tampering, is degenerate criminal. With the untampered result is the model citizen.
Citizen Brown is in delight that the old timeline with the Big Brother Hill Valley will be gone from Citizen Brown. Though Citizen Brown asks Marty what becomes of Edna and keeps pushing for an answer. After all, Marty told Citizen Brown so much about his other timeline from the movies. When Citizen Brown learns that Edna in the original timeline from the beginning of the game is going to end up being alone, Citizen Brown then gets an idea if perhaps Marty could merge the two timelines so Edna doesn't end up alone. Though despite Citizen Brown's wishes on that Marty is going to break them up.
Meanwhile, Emmett is beyond miserable and up on the rooftop of the courthouse. Marty, thinks Emmett is going to jump when it just turns out Emmett is up there clearing his mind. Emmett is also worrying that Emmett will be stuck in Hill Valley for the rest of his life. Finally, it dawns on Emmett that when all these things happen. Marty just happens to be around. Marty must be the cause and pisses off at Marty for the break up between Edna and Emmett. However, before that can go any further, the courthouse stepping breaks and Emmett is hanging on for his life.
Marty saves Emmett and Emmett forgives Marty for everything and with the lighting storm going on over head gets an idea on how to fix the proportional system in the prototype flying car, which is static electricity. The idea hit Emmett hits Emmett like a bolt of lightning. Emmett also decides in this moment that no one else is going to tell Emmett what he's going to do with his future. Emmett rushes to finish the prototype car the day before the opening of the Hill Valley science expo.
Citizen Brown finds Eden walking home by herself. Opening the Delorean car door offers her a lift and begins to plot against Marty.
Outta Time; Emmett is at the Hill Valley Science Expo, and calling Marty to bring down his static charger. Then suddenly, Emmett is off the phone.
Citizen Brown confronts Marty, saying that it wasn't Edna that was evil but Edna using Citizen Brown's science for evil in Citizen Brown's timeline and sugguests to Marty that his younger self drops out of the science expo and Emmmett could do something else with his life other then science. Marty refuses this as he states the whole universe exploding effect that Doc Brown of his timeline always warns Marty about toying too much with the space time continuum.
Marty later finds Citizen Brown is kidnapping Emmett at the science expo and Marty needs to save Emmett. With Emmett's future of science hanging in the balance, Marty finds Emmett in one of the exhibits and gets Citizen Brown to run off. Just in time! Emmett is up next with his exhibit. Then Judge Brown interrupts and grounds this whole thing someone stop this on the grounds his son, Emmett is insane. Marty manages to be peace maker between Emmett and Judge Brown, something that in Marty's original timeline wasn't original resolved.
Citizen Brown learns that Citizen Brown was wrong about Edna and there was no good in her. As before thanks to Marty, Edna turns out to have been the speakeasy arsonist and now was fleeing off with the Delorean! Citizen Brown disappears. Which is means that alternate 1986 is now gone. Emmett comes out, his hair wild from the static electricity. Stating his experiment was successful, even if Emmett is banned for the next fifty years from the science expo. Marty, is crying and Emmett asks Marty, why? Marty says it's nothing. However, Emmett remarks that he can't figure Marty out but whatever Marty is crying about that is about Emmett. Marty looks at the newspaper from the alternate 1986 the headline changes to, Doc Brown Receives Key to City. Marty promises Emmett that everything will be explained the day, Emmett recieves the key to the city and Emmett agrees. Emmett leaves and no sooner does Emmett leave when Doc Brown appears in the Delorean and remarks Marty has an interesting way of leaving hints. Hill Valley then disappears right in front of Marty and Doc. The two is still in 1931 but for some reason or another there's no Hill Valley. They find out that Edna went back to 1882 to stop Edna from burning down Hill Valley. Doc and Marty are successful and time bump Edna in her Delorean back to 1931. Then Doc and Marty go back to 1986 as if nothing has happened. Well, there were a few changes. Marty looks at Doc strangely about the science program, Doc's father endorsed.
Then Marty takes Doc somewhere away in time.

1st person: *Note this is a Twilight Zone telephone from 1931*
[The voice starts off in delight] “Since the beginning of time all women have heard footsteps up there.” Oh, Jules Vernes you really do know how to spark the creative imagination! Just think, once I get those blueprints to the patent office in Washington DC about my Rocket Power Drill I may be able to make your writing a complete reality. After all science fiction isn't necessary not real science, just science waiting to be explored!
[The phone rings] [Professional voice] Hello, Brown residence. Yes father… No, of course I wasn’t wasting any time with science. I was just taking a lunch break with a book. I’ll get those subpoenas handed right out. [Click]
[There’s a pause and shuffle of papers] Just finishing the chapter couldn’t hurt now, could it? Nah, I’ll be quick! I gotta see what happens next!
[Silence with some page flipping. Moments pass by and the phone keeps ringing until finally, click]
Brown reside- [Emmett yelps the sound of a book dropping to the floor can be heard and scattering feet and finally a slamming door. A few moments later the door can be heard opening]
Forgot the subpoenas! [Sound of door closing again. Emmett also left the phone on the line]
Third Person:
“Yes, fath-Judge Brown” says Emmett.
Judge Brown was a fair, honest man. At least to the cases he dealt with at court. Otherwise, to his son Emmett, Judge Brown was unjust, unfair and just plain intimidating. Emmett always kept that mask on in front of his father. That uptight, “get down to brass tacks” attitude when he worked by his father’s side but deep down he was terrified of his father and didn’t like what he was doing. Law, as much as Emmett lied to himself, law was not his true love. His inspiration and true love were only visited during his off hours when father didn’t keep him busy. There inside a dimly lit room between wires, wrenches and bolts, was Emmett’s true love.
Science…
Science didn’t have to go by certain rules or regulations and Emmett loved it! Science can be as absurd and imaginative as Emmett wanted it to be. After all, why else make a rocket power drill that runs on alcohol? Because you can.
One day, somehow, Emmett was going to make a name for himself under his father’s nose as a scientist. Father wouldn’t understand. He wouldn’t understand his passion at all. This is America! This is the country where a boy doesn’t have to follow in his father’s footsteps. Those science fiction books Emmett often read over and over again opened his eyes to a whole new world of possibilities. H.G. Wells…Jules Verne…they were Emmett’s only best friends and role models. It often occurred to Emmett that things are only science fiction because no one has actually tried. Perhaps it was the absurdity in him but one day that is how he was going to mark his name down in history. Only time would tell…
Emmett Brown| Back to the Future| Spoilers and Triggers| 6/6 not a scatterbrain >.>
Personality: Emmet can be a bit of a scatterbrain. He would start one project, drop that and just go onto the next best thing. For example, before Marty came to 1931, Emmett never actually built a working model of the Rocket Power Drill. With Marty's interference, Brown did build a working model and then after the Power Drill was destroyed moved on to the next greatest thing: the proto type flying car which he then dropped for a while until he cleared his mind watching Frankenstein (or in the other version was dangling for his life at the top of the clock tower during a lighting storm in 1931). It's a wonder really how Emmett even finishes any of his creations.
Stubborn: Despite being told by his father, Judge Brown, not to practice science Emmett does it secretly behind him because he believes that's where his true calling lies. Even when he's Citizen Brown the stubbornness is still there as he refuses Marty's ridiculous time travel story, until there was proof. However, he is swayed when Marty points out that Older Doc and Marty are in the background of the picture of younger Emmett taking the credit for capturing Kid Tannen in his prototype car back in 1931. Denial: When Marty tries to bring peace between teenage Emmett and Judge Brown at the Science Expo in Part 4 of the game, Emmett gets upset that father went and dragged mother into this. To which Judge Brown retorts that Emmett acts just like his mother. That's where he gets this from. Emmett then remarks along the lines of how dare father bring mother into this if anything Emmett is like his - and stops. In the beginning of the game before Marty interferes with young Emmett, Emmett doesn't admit that he loves science. Marty has to pry that out of Emmett. Law and only law is Emmett's true love. Emmett was rather uptight before Marty interfered with him which caused Emmett to become more laid back. Considering the reason Brown was so uptight was hiding his deep dark science secret from his father and anyone else. Which Marty managed to expose and then there was a huge outburst with Emmett and his father, which after that Emmett quit being a clerk for the courthouse and was deciding his own future.
Brown could also be said to be see a bit of the crackpot type scientist. Really, Time Traveling Delorean? He's inspired in odd ways; the movie Frankenstein for example where the creature was brought to life with the lighting, inspires Emmett to have his prototype car run on static electricity (or in the other version was dangling for his life at the top of the clock tower during a lighting storm in 1931). As well as Jules Brown’s Journey to the Center of the Earth was inspiration for his Rocket Power Drill that runs on alcohol. It is also hinted that H.G. Wells The Time Machine will inspire Emmett for the Delorean. Not to mention that bonk on the head on November 5th, 1955 that made him come up with the idea for the Flux Capacitor, which makes time travel possible.
Brown's older self is slightly different from his teenager self. The two major differences are that his older self is wiser and braver but those are things that come with age and maturity, usually. Older Brown is wiser in the sense as he tells Marty to be careful when time traveling: - Don't be seen by your other self. -Don't interact with other people and try to blend in. -Don't know too much about your own destiny. Whereas his teenager self has yet to understand all of this, his older self has had time to learn about the theory of time travel though the major breakthroughs in science in the later part of the 20th century. Older Emmett is also very brave, such as in 1955 when Emmett is dangling for his life (again) at the clock tower. Rather flipping out like he did when Emmett was a teen, older Emmett manages to regain control and plugs the electric cords together. In 1885, he jumps onto a moving freight train from a horse and then makes a stick up for a science experiment and points his rifle at Mad Dog Tannen he was trying to hang Marty and tells Tannen he won't give back the $88 for the horse shoes. Most importantly, whether it's his younger or older self, he always sees the good in someone. Whether or not that's actually there despite Marty breaking Emmett’s relationship with Edna and being horribly mad at Marty, McFly saves Emmett's life from dangling on the clock tower in 1931. Afterwards he and Emmett are friends. His older alternate self (Citizen Brown) despite knowing that Edna had used him to take control of Hill Valley like Big Brother still insisted to Marty that there was good in her and wasn't till Edna stole the Time Traveling Delorean did Brown realize there wasn't any good in her. This also goes back to him being stubborn. Once his mind is set on something, it’s almost impossible to change. However, there's one exception and that's if you have a reputation like Kid Tannen, who is a notorious gangster, then Emmett, as a teenager, not only doesn't trust you but is also afraid of you. His older self seems to be able to stand up more to those sorts of fellas. All in all, both the younger and older versions of Emmett Brown are a nice guy. Even though he’ll get frustrated figuring out a tricky equation or situation, he’ll keeps a sense of optimism such that he knows he’ll figure something out.
Not to mention the best line in the entire movie; "The future is whatever you make it. So, make it a good one." That older Doc Brown states to Marty and Jennifer in the last movie however Emmett learned that himself back in 1931 the day before the Science Expo.
We're sorry but this application has been rejected. Your character notes are difficult to understand - it is imperative that you write clearly, especially when dealing with fandoms that use time travel and multiple versions of characters. Additionally, the level of detail used to record the character's actions in-game is actually obscuring the plot, actions and personality of the character.
Please feel free to reapply, taking these factors into consideration.

Emmet can be a bit of a scatterbrain.
Older Brown is wiser in the sense as he tells Marty to be careful when time traveling:
- Don't be seen by your other self.
