Just as a sidenote, this is a little thing but it bugged me. In your first-person sample, you wrote: "While you can't see his eyes you can feel them burrowing into you. There is a silence before he begins to speak."

TBH, this is a subtle kind of godmodding. Just be cautious that you aren't specifying for other characters how they feel. Especially since Mewtwo has such powerful telepathic abilities, you don't want to cross the line unintentionally.
