Pheromones (accelerate the metabolisms of males of many species, raising adrenaline production and causing significant sexual attraction; in females, they merely cause headaches), heightened sensitivity when aroused, inherently a little stronger than a human woman of her same build; not technically abilities: green skin and blood, heart located low centre of her ribcage.

There are no well-established Orions in canon, and the facts surrounding those few others remain mostly vague. Some of Gaila’s history section may conflict with Enterprise canon in that her society is not matriarchal; however, I have taken multiple sources into my characterisation of her, and researched as much on Orions as is humanly possible. One fairly agreed upon idea is that they are an extremely ancient culture, predating Terrans by thousands of years, and remain mysterious and widespread throughout the universe, with no home or “prime” planet, but an assortment of colonies spanning the Alpha Quadrant. Drawing from this and the FASA RPG modules The Orions, there is thus no one defined Orion “society,” in that there is, in present day, no one defined Earth society. Cultural norms shift with distance, as well as physical traits (as assumed by Gaila’s gold lips and red hair defying that of previously seen Orions in The Original Series and Enterprise, who all possessed black lips and hair).
Long story short: My Orion canon is a convenient mishmash of multiple sources, cited in the “personal reference” link below.
