* Zero seals himself away. X becomes Leader of Neo Arcadia.
* The Four Guardians are created.
* X uses his own body to seal the Dark Elf.
* Copy X takes contral of Neo Arcadia.
* When the energy cirtis occurs, Copy X turns against Reploids.
* Zero is awoken.
* The events of Megaman Z1 takes place & Zero defeats Copy X.
* The events of Megaman Z2 takes place & the Dark Elf is released.
* The events of Megaman Z3 takes place & Dr.Weil and Omega return.
* The events of Megaman Z4 takes place & the end of the Neo Arcadian Wars.
Zero was saved by the Mother Elf from the fall of Ragnarok & survived.
Three years passed. Zero wandered. The war was over. He had fulfilled his obligations to Ceil & the Resistance. What was he supposed to do now? All his goals had been fulfilled. Weil & Copy X were dead and gone. The energy problems were over, solved by the Ceil System. He had regained his memories in the fall of Ragnarok. Humans & Reploids were at peace.He had no wish to become what X had been to these to people. It was better to let them think he had died a martyr. After all, his "death" had opened everyone's eyes, hadn't it? A "hero" showed up when things went hell & left when things were over. There was nothing left to fight for. The war was over. It was time to pick up the pieces.
So, Zero watched as the new world grew up around him. It looked like a much better era then the last one.
Personality: Zero shows a cold and emotionless face towards others, even to his partners X and Axl. This only worsened as time went on. If you didn't know him well & even then, most would call him emotionless & eerily like a Mechaloid. Even to his closest friends, Zero has a blank, cold facade.However, despite that, he has the capacity to care for others and to some extent in Iris' case, love. Zero keeps his cool under most circumstances, and no matter what his enemies ever do to him, he always seems able to have to be able to come up with a smart remark to it.
Zero will go to any lengths to protect the people he cares about. Once someone have earned his trust & respect, he will trust them & give them his respect. Because they earned it in his eyes. But caring about them? Zero has only truly cared & called "family", a small handful of people; X, Axl, Iris, Ceil and Aloutte. A grand total of five people.
Zero does not really think of himself as a hero. Even after he got his memories back. After all, didn't he start all of this mess with the Maverick Virus in the first place? So, he cleaned up after himself. Atonement for what he did. He's no hero. He's just a soldier who did what he had to do. If people wish to call him a "hero", so be it.
In spite of not viewing himself as a hero, Zero has often displayed a tendency to sacrifice himself for the sake of others. He also has a distaste for innocent deaths. This is evidenced in his fighting against Neo Arcadia's ruthless policy against Reploids in the Neo Arcadian Wars.
Even though Zero doesn't openly show it, he, too, longs for peace between humans and Reploids. However, as stated in his own words, Zero doesn't have any problems with fighting, unlike his pacifistic friend, X; whether his enemy is a Maverick or a human, he will fight at his best & give his worst. Another notable trait is that, despite his great power, Zero has shown to be humble: he has, at times, actually viewed X as the superior Maverick Hunter, and actually considers him a hero, which is impressive since Zero doesn't consider himself a hero.
Zero's personality can summoned up in one Crowning Moment of Awesome; "I never cared about justice... and I don't recall ever calling myself a hero. I have always only fought for the people I believe in... I won't hesitate... If an enemy appears in front of me, I will destroy it!"
Other: Nightmares. Almost every night. When he wakes up these, he might act oddly, from attacking the first thing he sees to ignoring everything around him.

Third Person: [The feed flickers on, showing a large room that has a oddly empty feel. Like whoever lived there wasn't used to living there, though it was clear that this place had been lived for several months. Hanging from a hook, on the wall is a rather dirty brown cloak. A bed is set against the far wall & a Recharge capsule on the opposite wall. Odd bits & pieces of machinery are shattered on a table sitting in the corner. And perched on a stool in front of the table, is a familiar red Reploid. Familiar, at least to people from his world. Zero. He's tinkering with something on table, with his back to the camera. And encasing his hands are bandages. Lots of bandages. Suddenly, he twitches & turns around & spots the camera.]
.... When did it start recording? I thought......... Never mind. [His face remains blank & emotionless but a slightly amused tone showed itself in his voice before vanishing.] Haven't checked up in Dramadramaduck for a while. Had a slight problem & had heal for a while.
[Only Zero would call dipping his hands in molten lava a "slight problem". And as he's trying not to use unneeded energy, he's using human bandages & allowing his self-repair to slowly heal his wounds.]
