Character: Kyle Broflovski Fandom: South Park
Character Notes: History: Kyle is an eight year old boy who lives in South Park, Colorado. He was born to Sheila and Gerald. His parents also adopted a Canadian boy, two years of age, named Ike. He met his best friend Stan in kindergarten as well as his friend Kenny and his nemesis Cartman. He's always top of his class, and while maybe not a genius, a really smart and perceptive kid. It's revealed that Kyle is a diabetic, and later goes into kidney failure. He is also a bit of a germaphobe. He's Jewish, and this occasionally causes conflict between him and his peers. Also one within himself as he's renounced his faith at least two times because of what he's heard about in Christianity, however he always comes back. He also spent a night in a mental hospital for believing in Mr. Hankey, when no one else did. He has a competitive streak and often fights with Cartman, just to prove he can win. Kyle, like the other kids, has a wonderful singing voice as well. He has used this in such instances as Fingerbang when they made a band together.
Personality: Kyle is intelligent but he has a tendancy to hide this, simply because his peers, notably his best friend Stan are average. He lets it out in bursts, desperately attempting to fit in the rest of the time. He often feels like an outcast - not just because he's the only Jewish kid in South Park, but because he's often irritated by ploys and the stupider ideas that the kids come up with and finds himself unable to join in due to his logic and morality. He can be impatient when dealing with his peers (A good example was when everyone was going 'metrosexual' and Kyle just didn't feel it.) In earlier seasons he's the brains of the operation, although Cartman's deviousness has led him to be so more recently. He's adverse to change. Kyle doesn't like things rocking his world as he has neurotic tendancies. At his age he's a bit of a contradiction. He can come up with adult ideas, and process information such as philosophy but still has tendencies towards playing games with his peers for example. He's a logical thinker - paranormal phenomena can easily be explained, in his eyes, however he's relatively religious. He is focused on his morality and wishes to improve himself, which is why he's their benchmark. Kyle has a jealous streak, particularly when it comes to Stan's attention at times, even though fighting with Cartman can lead him to ignore Stan.
Other: Kyle is usually the one who says 'Well I've learned something today...' He's the moral compass for the quad, although occasionally he swaps out with Stan. He hates bananas. Kyle has appeared in nearly every single episode of South Park, except for Not Without My Anus, Cat Orgy, Two Guys Naked In A Hot Tub mot notably. There might be a couple more. He is one of the two characters based off the creators. His birthday is May 26th. Kyle, although foul-mouthed, comes off as less-so. Whether or not he actually is is a matter of debate. The inspiration for this entry comes from the episode South Park is Gay!
First Person (entry type): Sometimes when I'm at school I know I'm different. At Christmas, I'm the only one not celebrating, so it kind of comes up but...I've never been beaten up for it before. I mean, I've picked on kids, I've helped pick on them and all that but I've never been more than ripped on. I don't normally come home sporting bruises and worrying my mother. Everyone's gone metrosexual, even my dad. It's thanks to those stupid tv shows, that everyone seems to be a zombie to. I don't get it. What's so great about watching five guys dress another guy up? And I don't even like the clothes. I like my usual clothes. I don't know how Stan can stand it outside in a shirt like that, I mean I should worry about frostbite he's my best friend right? Well...they turned their backs on me. Even Stan. And he would never do that if he hadn't joined in on this stupid gay metrosexual fad. I know what I have to do.
I have to kill the Queer Eye guys.
Third Person: As the sun rose over the mountainside in South Park, Colorado, so did the Broflovski household. Ike woke the house with a cry as he demanded attention.
The door opened and in stumbled a sleepy looking eight year old in a set of green pajamas and a green winter hat. He yawned as he walked over to the crib and held out his arms. "C'mon Ike, just be quiet okay?"
"Cookiesafe!" Ike said happily as he latched onto his older brother's arms.
Kyle yawned again and then set the toddler on the ground and watched him bounce from the room. How he could have so much energy at six in the morning is beyond his recollection.
Rubbing his eyes, he exited the nursery and watched Ike bounce downstairs. As he contemplated going back to sleep, his mother's call interrupted his thoughts. He sighed, gave his head a shake. "Coming mom!"
Kyle spun a little, holding onto the top of the handrail, moving to go downstairs.
"Kyle!" His father interrupted. "Haven't I told you doing that is dangerous?"
"Yeah." He said, looking chastisized.
"I don't want you to fall and break your neck." Gerald said, with a dismissive nod.
Kyle heeded his advice and went down the stairs quickly. He could smell that breakfast was almost ready and he had to fuel up because he needed to be at the bus stop by seven.
I am so incredibly bored. The weather is terrible, which means that there's a snowstorm going on outside. Looking out my window I can barely see the house next to ours, it's unbelievable. I called Stan, but his stupid dad said he couldn't come over and my mom won't let me leave the house when the weather is like this. This sucks.
My brother is being really annoying today, he just doesn't seem to get that I don't want to play with him. I'd yell at him, but then my mom would find out and ground me for not playing with my brother, but it's not my fault, he's only two.
I'd review my class notes, but that's a waste of time. Garrison can't teach worth shit and I doubt somehow that reviewing my notes would do any good. Normally I'd do research when this bored but even the internet is down. At least we still have power, but if the storm continues who knows for how long. I can't remember the last time we were snowed in.
I'd rather be at Stan's house, he's got an X-Box and that would help us pass the time. Fatass has all those things too, but I sure as hell am not going to his house. Kenny doesn't have anything at his house because he's poor. My dad says it's necessary for people to be poor but I don't know, seems like a cop out from someone who's too greedy to share.
Well this killed five minutes, what else can I-
