Wichita | ZOMBIELAND 3/4
You're kidding me, right? I'm supposed to just spill my soul on this thing? The only journal I ever owned had maybe three entries in it, then after about a week I got bored with it, and it was never seen again. I actively avoided Facebook and Twitter when those things still mattered - I don't want random people reading about my life. Plus, I'm sure nothing I put here is going to go over really well with the masses. But! Whatever, I'll try it, because the sister insists.
"Dear diary,
Today I had to unload a shotgun in the face of this kid I used to go to school with, because he decided I'd be cool to eat for lunch. It was messy and brutal but it had to be done. Then we broke into a 7-11, killed a few more zombies, only to find out that the Slurpee machine was empty anyway. What d'you know! Zombies enjoy an ice-cold, blue slushie to wash down their human flesh. Yum."
Yeah, no. I can delete this, right?

Ran into an old classmate today. Wasn't the epic reunion it could've been, but I wasn't really expecting it to be. Still, where it lacked in fun it made up in
gunfireexcitement. I guess.And now I'm craving a Slurpie but have no means of getting one. Bummer.
Third Person: [pre-movie, or at least pre-meeting Columbus/Tallahassee]
The goal was simple - obtain two Big Gulps from 7-11, and get the hell out of there. No snacks, no candy (well, maybe a pack of sugar-less gum for Little Rock, but it wasn't exactly on the agenda), just Slurpies. Of course, nothing was ever that simple in Z-Land, and the two sisters sat in their stolen pick-up for a few minutes to map out their game plan before actually going in.
The store looked empty, no surprise there, but there was no way it actually was - most of the windows were shattered and one door completely unhinged from the entrance, most of the food missing from the shelves, and three abandoned cars in the lot. At least that made for an easy escape. Wichita wasn't usually for these near-suicide missions, especially when only one of them could carry a firearm so the other could carry loot, but when the girls got the same craving at the same time, well. There wasn't much that could stop them from seeking it out. Plus her sister had this inexplicable power of manipulation over her at times that made it so even if she didn't agree to do something at first, five minutes later she was all for it. Sometimes, rarely, she could say no, but this wasn't one of those times.
"I want you within three feet of me the whole time, got it?" Wichita hates how much she sounds like their mother, but when she gets into 'game plan' mode it just kind of... happens. "If you have to run, you run straight for the truck. Don't yell for me, I'll be right there, and where there's one zombie there are probably six more. Just stay calm, and-"
Little Rock was already hopping out of the truck, muttering a 'yeah yeah' at her. Okay so fine, she really didn't have to be this over-protective with her anymore. They've done this before. But last time there was a hiccup (actually, more of a complete fuck-up) from a lack of planning, and it ended in a way that made Wichita keep her eye on her sister even more than usual for about a week. Paranoia in addition to every other issue she had wasn't fun, she didn't like it. Her sister stood in front of the truck with her hands on her hips, waiting, and Wichita gave her gun another once-over before getting out too, then leading the way into the store.
