First Person (entry type): [The community takes over Blaine's laptop mid-paper. Poor boy doesn't notice]

it's important to face one's demons. Regret is an ugly emotion cottoned in the gin of failure. The biggest failure one can make is unto himself, and to let oneself down is the ultimate regret. By standing up to a bully, whether it be a man or a feeling or a single notion, a person can not only reassure himself of who he is and what he deserves, but who he may be in the future; what he may deserve years down the line. To deprive oneself of this final validation is to deny who we are. It is to cast away the very fiber of our being. Strength and courage, though hard to come by, are the essential ingredients to our design. What we do with them, however, is ultimately up to us.

[voice, a while later]

..Where'd the rest of my conclusion go? Stupid word processor. [thump!] ..Ouch.

Third Person: Blaine takes a deep breath before asking, "Hey.. did anyone read the new Vanity Fair? It was pretty interesting." He's still waiting for the verbal diatribe before Wes pipes up, seemingly unbothered by the topic.

"Oh, yeah, about Cher? Her son-- that's a pretty inspirational story, I think. I mean, I can't even imagine what he must have gone through."

David nods too, adding, "No one could imagine waking up in the wrong body. It's a horror movie, not someone's life."

Blaine smiles a bit to himself -- he really does have some of the best friends a guy could ask for. He opens his mouth to ask something else along the same trans agenda, but David speaks out of turn before he gets his chance.

"Are you and Kurt official yet or what?"

Wes waggles his eyebrows and laughs, sticking a pencil behind his ear as they all walk to class. "Come on, Blaine. Details."

"There's nothing to say," he insists in good humor with a wide smile that speaks volumes more than the words he didn't dare.

"Come on now, boys," a learned voice interrupted their banter. "A good college doesn't wait for you to attend it. I suggest you step inside." Professor Williams gestured inside the Biology lab, lifting an eyebrow at Blaine but saying nothing more.
