Personality:
Little of Helios' personality is seen in the Sailor Moon S anime, and even the manga. He's mostly a supporting character, but what we do see of Helios, he has a very compassionate personality, and while he is aware of the darkness in the world, he also firmly believes in the goodness that lies hidden away within every human. Every living being is capable of beautiful dreams, and accomplishing the desires in their heart if they only believe and try hard enough, never losing sight or giving up on that dream, despite the obstacles that might get in the way. Because of this belief, he is often very kind, polite, and soft-spoken to everyone he meets, never spouting out threats.
He is, however, a Guardian, thus he must be suspicious and cautious of those he meets, but as he can see the goodness of a person by looking at the amount of light or darkness radiating from their dreams, his trust can potentially be won very easily. Helios has shown to also be selfless, in that, despite how badly he might want to connect with a person or want something, if staying in contact with a person or growing too close to them meant he might potentially bring necessary and irreversible harm to someone, he will refrain from indulging for their sake. He does feel bad that he sometimes has to upset those around him, or ask for trust where he has no rights to do so, but rest assured that Helios is only doing what he views as best for the good of the Earth and its people.
Because of his responsibilities, he barely has the chance to socialize, and had to leave Chibiusa, despite their apparent attachment to one another, so it is seen that he's dedicated to his work, and understands the gravity of leaving his post, even for a short amount of time, but when he does, and when one talks with him, they'll notice he usually speaks formally and respectfully, and he is very wise and objective. Often times, Chibiusa had come to Helios with questions, and he was able to patiently answer them in ways that she would understand, even if she wouldn't always like the answer.

Other:
Helios can draw power from the Golden Crystal, and in times of need, his spirit can flee with the help of the Crystal, using it to give himself shape, and hide in a beautiful dream. He can also use it to appear in the waking world in his illusion form(that of a white Pegasus with a golden horn), but only for a short while. Like Chibiusa, he can also appeal to the Golden Crystal through prayers to use more of its power in a wider scale, but he only resorts to this tactic if the world is in dire need, as the Golden Crystal is not his to wield on such a scale, only protect.

First Person (entry type):
[ Helios found himself alone in Elysion. But by choice, this time. He wasn't kidnapped, the Generals were well, and the Maenids were awake, however, everyone was in a state of worry, and Helios didn't know what he should do--the Golden Crystal was gone. The light no longer shone in the shrine, and his horn was gone. There was no possible reason for it to suddenly disappear, and no one he'd spoken to using the Stallion Reve had any idea as to what it could possibly be. All of the Guardians were worried for the well-being of Earth, Mamoru, and their own existance. Without the Golden Crystal, they were vulnerable..an open target. Unless he could get the Senshi here in case of emergency, there would be little ways for he and the Generals to defend Elysion, and Earth would wither from the inside out.

The Generals were investigating the cause while he and the temple maidens were tending to Elysion. There were no dark lights looming over their beautiful dreamscape, and there was nothing unusual going on within their realm before the Golden Crystal suddenly...disappeared. He stared up at the shrine the crystal once stood with a sigh and an expression of worry. If..Mamoru died, the crystal would still be here, waiting for his re-incarnate to realize who he was and step into the position of Prince Endymion. For the crystal to suddenly disappear, it would have to be destroyed entirely, but..there was no threats invading Elysion, and he was told all was well..

But, when at long last he had an idea, the winged gemstone upon the Stallion Reve glowed a warm pink. ] Chibiusa...Chibiusa.. [ His voice was soft and faint, calling for her. Instead of the Pegasus now, she would be able to see his face. ] Chibiusa..

Third Person:
Helios was trapped. He had honored his word and aided the Sailor Senshi in their efforts to come to their aid whenever he was needed, but unlike before, he had no power to lend them. There was no Golden Crystal, and he wasn't a fighter. All he could do was serve as a distraction while the others fought for the sake of the Universe, this time. Sailor Galaxia was drawing nearer to him, staring him down with an insane sneer, but he didn't look afraid. The other Sailor Scouts were preparing an attack, so all he had to do was stall her, maybe change her mind--he knew there was good somewhere in her. No single person was incapable of having at least one good thought, one moment where they hesitated, unwilling to harm anyone, anything, be it a child or a cat.

"Sailor Galaxia, what is power? You will have no one around you to share in the joy of friendship, no one to support you, as you alone will be the only Sailor Senshi in all the Universe. You can not protect every planet from the looming threats. Please, cease, before more lives are lost, and there is nothing left." His face was calm and solemn, golden eyes bright and kind as he stared up at her. He was not afraid of death, but he didn't have a Sailor Crystal. If he died, he would forever cease to exist, and he couldn't put the Senshi, Endymion, and Chibiusa through such a thing.

It has been quiet in Elysion as of late, and it has become worrisome. The Four Generals have been on edge lately due to the lack of the Golden Crystal's curtain of protection, but I have seen nothing in the skies that pose an immediate and certain threat to Elysion and the Earth as of yet. I am currently keeping in close contact with the Senshi, but they have no information at this time either, other than the fact that no one has been in contact with Prince Endymion for some time. This only serves to confirm my suspicions, but for now, there is nothing to be done other than prepare.

For what, though, even I am uncertain, and it troubles me. The Senshi have reported no attacks on Earth for some time now, and as Elysion is still vibrant and beautiful, there is no reason for this to have happened. I sincerely regret having no power to give to the Senshi other than an extra set of eyes and ears, but I have no doubt that they will overcome this threat, just as they defeated Queen Nehelenia.
