First Person (entry type):

[Have a young woman with dark black hair, light eyes and skin, and dark eyeliner, peering into the camera curiously as she checks to make sure it’s on. She grins after a second, realizing she’s succeeded, and promptly leans back now, waving at the camera and looking a little giddy.]

Hello to everyone out there! [She almost giggles at ‘out there’ because she realized she’s actually talking to people not on the Grid.]

I saw Flynn was on this before and well. [A little sheepish.] I thought I’d take a look at it myself instead of ask him this time. I think I ask him too many questions, even if he’s too nice to ask me to stop. He just tells me to do recon work if I bother him anyway.

[Leans close to whisper.] He thinks I don’t know that’s why he asks me to go, but I figured it out a long time ago.

[Back up. Really she’s extremely happy and giddy to meet new people!] I don’t even know where to begin… [Muttering to herself.]

First I have to ask, though. What are ducks, exactly? And are they always so dramatic or is this something specific to this community?

Third Person:

The Grid seemed to blur past Quorra as she rode her lightcycle through the downtown area of Tron: City. It was almost risky to be out like this, but sometimes Flynn needed his space and the pair needed to be aware of what Clu was doing in the city without their presence.

In all honesty, Flynn wasn’t the only one who needed his space. As much as Quorra admired and appreciated everything Flynn did for her, she still needed her time to reflect on what had occurred and what she was going to do about it now. The easy answer was to listen to Flynn, follow his teachings, and keep her low profile. With the Basics on Clu’s side, ISOs and Users weren’t welcome on the Grid anymore. And with only one of each existing on the Grid there was no way they could overcome Clu on their own. And even if they did there was no way to get Flynn to safety either.

So the pair remained in exile together and observed the Grid from a safe distance. Quorra kept her helmet on as she rode through the City’s streets, watching as Programs wandered here and there, paying her little attention.

It was hard to imagine a time when she walked freely through these streets instead of sneaking around to keep an eye on things. It wasn’t that long ago, really, but it felt like it could have been an eternity ago. Already things were so different without the ISOs. And the Basics liked it that way. They had praised Clu’s genocide and even if Quorra was brave enough to walk openly through the streets of Tron: City she wouldn’t be welcomed if anyone knew what she really was.

With little concern to those around her Quorra revved the lightcycle and sped off down the street, letting the buildings mix into a blurred scenery around her until she was speeding through the Outlands, searching for a moment of peace in the chaos.

[ voice ]

This is my.... upteenth patrol through Tron City. I feel like eighteenth, but it could possibly be nineteenth. It's been a little while since the last one so I've forgotten how many exactly.

Not that that part really matters.

What does matter is the state of things. It's like a dictatorship down there. The Basics both respect and fear Clu should they step even a little out of line.

I don't know why Flynn still asks me to go. I know it's a break for the both of us, but I don't understand past that either. We're not doing anything. No matter how many times I go it's still the same as before. Nothing changes it only gets worse. And we'll never do anything because what can be done?!

[Pause. Then a sigh as she takes in a heavy breath.]

If Flynn asks me to keep going then I'll keep going. It's not going to change anything, but Flynn knows what he's doing.

He always has.
