Your layouts!
I'm not talking about the community's layout, no. It's beautiful, of course, lovely, just lovely. Blue polka dots are in this season, and the banner has quite perfectly solved the nasty issue of needing to include a duck in the layout by making it look adorable enough to match the background. I mean the layouts on your personal journals! Some of you haven't had the common decency to turn off custom comment pages, and the entries I come across can be just atrocious. If you must keep custom pages on, at least make sure that your handwriting looks good with them!
On that note, make sure that they match your icons, too. The people in worlds with those... computer machines may be able to see everything in the same previously-arranged-upon font, but they have to see the icons, so please be kind enough to make sure that your journal looks nice with them. I'm not just talking about clashing colours, I'm talking about the general feel of them. The lines! The contour! The level of energy! If you can't see it, get somebody else to look it over for you.
If we can all do this, then the community will be a far better place.
Third Person: Oh, this was just ridiculous.
"Go home," Rarity sighed. "You've been following me for the past fifteen minutes, and enough is quite enough."
The magenta owl in the tree beside her tilted its head and hooted at her.
"Go on," urged the white unicorn pony. "I don't know what you're after, but I haven't got any food for you." Was it after food? Rarity hadn't actually heard of owls following anybody home for food -- that was dogs, wasn't it? -- but then again, she hadn't heard of owls following anypony home for anything else, either. It crossed her mind that she really ought to ask Fluttershy about this. She, if anypony, would know about animal behaviour; the poor thing spent more time with forest animals than with other ponies, something Rarity would never understand for the life of her.
But then, she didn't understand this preposterous... owl situation, either.
The next thing to do would be to try to reason with it, right? She cleared her throat and looked up at the owl, hoping that nobody would see her looking like an idiot by talking to this thing.
"What do you want?"
The owl shrugged, fluttered down, and landed right on top of her head. Rarity stood there in horror for a good fifteen seconds before letting out an unearthly shriek.
"My HAIR!"
