History:
Since there isn't much about her, I will just provide you with her history!

2000 years ago, the Dark Knight Sparda sealed away the Prince of the Underworld, Mundus. For revenge, Mundus sent demons to kill his family, killing his wife Eva and splitting Vergil and Dante apart. Mind you, this took him almost 1090 years to do so, great tracking skills on Mundus' part. While Vergil ended up getting brainwashed by Mundus and to serve in his army as Nelo Angelo, Dante lived to become a demon mercenary. This caused Mundus to actually be creative in his means to kill Dante, so he decided to create a demon that looked exactly like his mother and dress her up in leather corsets and give her extra big boobs.

So, one day Trish showed up at Dante's office asking whether he was the same Dante who was the Son of Sparda, who had lost a mother and a brother to demons. When Dante asks how she knows this, she doesn't reply and instead just ends up grabbing his sword and impales him with a bolt of lightning. As if she didn't think that was enough to kill him, she throws a motorcycle at him as well. Dante uses his demon powers and stalls the bike from hitting him and instead shoots it and explodes, sending her backwards.

When Dante approaches her, demanding who she is, she takes off her sunglasses and its' revealed that she looks exactly like Eva, Dante's mother. She tells him of Mallet Island and leads him there. Dante is oblivious to the real reason why he's there, or what her intentions are, but he finds himself facing Nelo Angelo several times before he finally kills him, and finds out that it's his twin brother.

It's then when Trish reveals her true self, after being told to do so by Mundus. She shocks him, and belittles him for his stupidity. While she's laughing at Dante, a rock gets loose and almost crushes Trish. Dante moves to save her, and this is when her resolve breaks. He saved her, despite all she did to him. He continues to explain how she looks like his mother, and how she was kind –but Trish? Trish is a soulless abomination and he leaves her at that.

Mundus punishes her for failing, and uses her against Dante. He shows her, with her arms crucified and unconscious. Dante saves her yet again—and goes to fight Mundus. After the battle, Mundus tries to get Dante in the back, and Trish redeems herself by throwing herself in front of him and dying. Dante says the infamous, "I WANTED TO BE THE ONE TO FILL YOUR DARK SOUL WITH LIGHT"

In the game, later on, Trish comes back to life, and after she and Dante embrace, she becomes to be his partner. She leaves after a year or so with Dante to work solo, and that's when she meets Lady. They were pitted against each other by a demon that Trish was hunted. The relationship is strained, but they pick on Dante together.

She returns as his partner in the fourth game when Lady gives them work to do on the island of Fortuna. Trish goes before Dante, disguising herself as a woman named Gloria and worked her way up the Order. She works behind the scenes, gathering information. When Dante finally does arrive on the island, she's already taken care of a lot of demons. After a brief interlude with Nero, Gloria reveals herself to Dante. Dante, in turn recognizing his partner laughs, telling her that: "That look suits you".

In which Trish replies, "What can I say? I dress to impress!"

As the game progresses, Trish seems to be dictating the "plan" (read: yelling at Dante not to go and fuck things up). This is when she enters the game.

Personality:
Trish is a bitch, and she knows it. She'll be coy and seductive one minute, and then the next minute she can be throwing a sword at you and electrocuting you. She's seductive, and she knows it too. Trish won't hesitate to use her body against someone – then be a complete bitch about it. If she doesn't like you, she'll let you know –unless you're Dante in which case she'll lead you on until the very end.

However, Trish's weakness is that she's not as powerful as Dante or Nelo Angelo, she does sometimes falter and get hit. Additionally, she's very insecure about who she really is. If asked, she never tells about herself. She sidesteps the question because after all, all she knows of her existence was to look like Eva and kill Dante and serve Mundus. She never had a chance to actually think for herself and situations that require to do so leave her slightly vulnerable. Also, even though she's still a demon, she can be killed. Unlike Dante who cannot seem to die, Trish does bleed and it does get to a point where she can die and feel extreme amounts of pain. Mundus holds that power over her, and it was illustrated when Dante saved her. She's very easy to manipulate, Mundus does this several times to her in the game.

However, towards the end of the game, Trish gets a little resentful for what she's had to do, after Dante saves her. It's hard to make friends with her, but if you try hard enough, she'll get to like you. When she does, she'll bicker and tell you that she despises you, but in the end, if you ever needed anything, she would help.

In the anime, Trish evolves into more relaxed, laid back, fun loving person. She goes shopping on a regular basis and has even more fun blowing stuff up. Trish becomes cool and calm whenever she does a job. She does it because she likes it, and not driven by obligation like she was before when she served Mundus. In the anime, she gets really attached to a little girl named Patty, and tends to act motherly. Of course, this is exemplified with her interactions with Dante. She wonders if he's been eating right, sleeping well and wonders about his life in general. The two are close partners; at the time she is working solo, but he does offer for her to return.

In the game, there isn't much of her seen. She adopts the persona of "Gloria" to infiltrate the Order and rise in the ranks. It's revealed that once Lady told her about the Order, Trish ran off to become a persona. She hides herself so well that not even Dante can find her. Trish's personality is fun here, she greets Dante is a ridiculous costume and when he laughs saying it's a good look on her, she simply replies with, "What can I say? I dress to impress!"

She works covertly, and she takes care of certain things behind the scenes to make it easier for Dante.

Notably, she would do anything for Dante; no matter which version of him.

Other: She'll be keeping her history at DDD

First Person (entry type): Will her entries at [livejournal.com profile] fillmydarksoul work?

Third Person:

Trish was used to the whole "well, damn here's another dimension to the world that we didn't know". But, usually it involved the same old things: demons sprouting out of nowhere, humans thinking that they were ~*~ so badass ~*~ enough to try and take her on, person trying to destroy humanity/take over the world/enslave the masses or any combination of the two. Needless to say, her little detour didn't sit too right with her. She had a job to do and she didn't enjoy going through all this extraneous bullshit that was currently happening.

She created a small to-do list mentally:

  • First and foremost, find Dante. Even though she had been taken from Fortuna, she knew that whatever had happened, Dante would be at the source of it. If she found Dante, she would find out whatever the hell was going on and they could resolve it.

  • Secondly, punch Dante for fucking up the plan. It didn't have to mean much, but it would sure make her feel good about this. It wasn't that she was upset at him, she understood that sometimes, these things happened. It was when she couldn't explain it or justify it to herself was when she usually got violent. Dante was good at venting out her frustrations and thankfully, he was used to it too.

  • Return to Fortuna, kick ass and take names. Simple enough, it was what she was an expert at. This step would be the hardest, hence why it was the lowest on her list.

She checked Luce and Ombra before heading out into the woods. Knowing her luck and from experience, she knew that the first priority would be the easiest to do, but at the same time the most violent.

"Fucking plan." She muttered as she set out to find her partner.
