Oh this is just wonderful - in fact it's just fantastic.
You would think that having all these people paid to ensure that something like this doesn't happen to our network. No, it just means that they have better access to our mainframe; I don't know whether to laugh from amusement or mirth.
In the end, isn't this just another person telling me what to do? Or are you just really, really bored internet junkies - it doesn't matter. Look, my personal information isn't even on this network and don't think I'm stupid enough to buy stuff off of Ebay or even glance at Craig's list. You really should know that people are paid to do these things for me.
Third Person:
The weather today is horrible. It's the bleakest day in Hong Kong. Everything is backed up: traffic is barely moving, there are delays all over and there's nothing anyone can do about it. In his own luxury driven car, Robert is sitting back on the phone with someone who is informing him that his father thinks things are too slow. There's an urge to throw it out of the window or just hang up and blame the weather for it. But, like a masochist, he has to know what Maurice is saying about him.
"Well," he snaps, obviously disappointed that it's not something positive, "When we're able to control the weather, inform me. But, until then there's nothing I can do about it."
He pauses, actually thinking that the person on the other line will actually tell him that they had developed a new machine to harness the weather for energy. It's a silly thing, but it's always unsurprising that he'd be the last person to know. Robert rolls his eyes at the response he's getting. Of course that's not what they're going to tell Maurice. Maurice would probably get some watered down version saying "due to unexpected delays, Robert is not being as punctual as he could be" or "there were unforeseen circumstances and there has been a delay". Either way, Robert figures, he's going to be blamed for not taking the weather in consideration.
It's going to be at least another hour till he gets to one of their hotels and then business might as well be cancelled for the day. Then tomorrow can be another day for him to work as hard as he possibly can and for his father not to acknowledge it.
