Character:Ken Ichijouji
Fandom: Digimon 02
Character Notes:
History:
When Ken was a little kid he had an older brother named Osamu who was a child prodigy. Ken's parents passed over him in favor of Osamu. One day a Digivice out of the computer meant for Ken, Osamu, not realizing what it was, put it in a drawer telling Ken not to touch it. By this time all the pressure Osamu got for being a genius was getting to Ken and Osamu was constantly studying, becoming distant from everyone.

Ken was drawn to the device and wanted to just look at it, but once he touched it, he was sucked into the Digital World, during his adventure he met Wormmon and battled an evil Digimon called Millaniummon. When the evil monster was destroyed, the Digimon sent out some dark spores, and one hit Ken in his neck. The dark spore made Ken become ill, but after he recovered Ken was sent back into the real world. Time passes differently in the Digital World, then in the real world, and Ken found himself in about the same place and time, Ken had been when he touched the Digivice in the first place. His brother caught him and scolded him harshly. Ken angrily wished his brother would disappear. Sometime later, within weeks Osamu was hit by a car and died during the route to the hospital. Ken was stuck by guilt believing his wish had been what killed his brother.

Re: KEN ICHIJOUJI DIGIMON 02

The Ichijouji was grief-stricken and Ken decided to try making up for his brother’s death and become like Osamu. The dark spore he had been hit with weeks earlier took effect and he was suddenly good at sports and school. But the spore also made him grow cold and apathetic. He was charming and cool to others; however, Ken only saw them all as nothing more than insects.
In the Digital World, Ken went from being the kind gentle boy that his partner Wormmon met to a tyrant bent on taking over the Digital World. The Chosen Children and their partners came to fight him. Ken finally resorted to building the Ultimate Digimon, a partner worthy of him, as he had now saw his loyal partner, Wormmon, weak.
He created Kimeramon from the data of different Digimon but the creature rebelled. When the chosen children and their partners came to fight him, they were losing and Wormmon sacrificed his strength to help them save Ken from himself.
After Kimeramon was defeated, Wormmon died, and Ken realized that the Digimon were real creatures, and not just data in a computer game as he had thought. He broke down when Wormmon died and returned home.
After a period of time, searching his heart Ken learned another lesson of the Digital World, Digimon never die, and they are just reconfigured. Ken was reunited with Leafmon and found his Crest of Kindness and vowed to become who he used to be before the spore hit him.  He started rebuilding his life and relationship with his parents who realized what they had done and were trying to make up for it by changing their priorities in raising their son.

Ken meanwhile, was making up for his actions by knocking down the Spires he had made in the Digital World making its inhabitants unable to evolve.
The leader of the Chosen Children, Daisuke noticed the change in Ken and asked him to join the Chosen Children. Ken declined at first not feeling comfortable with them. He tried helping them against Arukenimon and Mummymon, two Dark Digital Creatures.

Character Notes:
History: Born in London, 19 September 1981. [It's stated by another character that her birthday is July 1975, but her Torchwood file states 19 September 1981. ] Like most of the Torchwood crew, little is known about Toshiko's past, and like most of the Torchwood crew, she joined Torchwood because she was recruited by Jack and had nowhere else to go. Before joining Torchwood she worked for the Ministry of Defence at the Lodmoor Research Facility, somtime around 2003. Toshiko's mother was kidnapped by an unnamed group and held for the ransom of a sonic modulator - the plans for which Toshiko had to steal from Lodmoor; she stole the plans and built a working sonic modulator, which shouldn't have worked, as the plans for it were incorrect. Toshiko had managed to fix the plans as she built the modulator. She and her mother's kidnappers were caught by UNIT, and Toshiko was held indefinitely without bail, without trial, and without rights. She would have spent the rest of her life imprisoned by UNIT if not for Jack Harkness, who offered her freedom in exchange for her working for Torchwood 3 in Cardiff. With no other options, Toshiko accepted. Since then, she worked at Torchwood as a computer specialist and occasional electrical engineer and all-around technical genius.

*During the Slitheen invasion in London in 2006, Toshiko filled in for Owen in an investigation regarding an alien craft that crashed into Big Ben and landed in the River Thames; Toshiko acted as pathologist in the investigation on account of Owen having a hangover.

*2007, Gwen Cooper joins the Torchwood team; Suzie Costello, another Torchwood member, kills herself in an incident related to a piece of technology known as the Resurrection Gauntlet.

*Through the next few episodes, Toshiko's involvement isn't particularly notable except as simply the resident tech genius.

*Ianto has a half-converted Cyberwoman in the basement of the Hub; Toshiko helps save the team from conversion by restoring power to the Hub after it's been in lockdown.

*A series of mysterious deaths draws the Torchwood team out to Brynblaidd; Toshiko and Ianto are trapped in a cellar after searching for their stolen SUV. They find body parts and chunks of human flesh in a freezer. Not long after, they're taken at gunpoint from the cellar to a house, with yet more body parts and chunks of flesh in evidence; Ianto is handcuffed and Tosh is tied up, but Ianto headbutts their captor, giving Tosh opportunity to escape. She does, only to get caught again; Jack saves the day.

*Toshiko meets a young woman in a bar who gives her an alien pendant which allows her to hear other people's thoughts. She begins a relationship with the woman, Mary, and wears the pendant to Torchwood, discovering that Gwen is having an affair with Owen. It's revealed that Mary is actually an alien lifeform, a prisoner who was exiled to Earth; Jack alters Mary's transport device to send Mary to the heart of the sun. Toshiko apologizes to Gwen and Owen for intruding on their thoughts, and eventually destroys the pendant after a talk with Jack.

Character Notes: SPOILER WARNING
History:
History is something the Doctor has a lot of - 907 years of it in fact. A Time Lord born on the planet Gallifrey, the Doctor was only eight years old when he was taken from his family to study at the academy. This happened with all Time Lord children of that age; they would spend centuries at the academy learning science and all sorts of complicated things that we wouldn't understand, and it was at the academy that the young Doctor first met his friend Koschei, who would later become known as the Master, one of his greatest enemies. Initiation into the academy involved looking into the Untempered Schism - a break in the fabric of reality where one could see straight into the space-time continuum. The children would all have different reactions to seeing this - "Some would be inspired, some would run away, and some would go mad." The Doctor himself ran, and still is. Through a series of unknown events later in his life, the Doctor managed to steal a type 40 TARDIS (one of the older models which eventually got stuck disguised as a 1960s British police box) and left Gallifrey, with all of time and space to explore.

Fast forward several centuries and the Doctor has now regenerated into his eleventh incarnation - more on regeneration later. The Doctor had travelled to countless planets and has seen many wondrous and terrible things on his long journey. He also picked up a habit of bringing companions with him, almost all of them being human funnily enough. He had many adventures with his companions exploring galaxies, saving worlds and generally defeating evil, but one of the most significant events during his life so far was the Last Great Time War. The Doctor joined his fellow Timelords in the war against the Daleks during his eighth incarnation and played a pivotal role in ending the war. The end though, came at a terrible cost - the destruction of his home planet and the death of all of the Timelords other than himself and as he later discovered, the Master. The war was time-locked, so even with the TARDIS there was no way of going back to change things. The loss hit the Doctor hard and he carried much of his guilt and anger into his ninth incarnation. It was during this time however, that he met Rose Tyler. Rose stopped the Doctor from giving into his darker side, and she was also probably the only woman the Doctor fell in love with. In a confrontation with the Daleks - one of the Doctor’s greatest enemies, she risked her life to save the Doctor’s and in return he saved hers; resulting in the Doctors regeneration into his tenth body.

The Doctor continued to travel with Rose but soon lost her. While helping to save the world she was transported to an alternate reality, though alive and well there was no way back. The TARDIS, as advanced as it was, could not travel between alternate realities, not without risks anyway. Again the Doctor was hit by another emotional loss, but eventually took on two more companions while recovering from it - Martha Jones and then later, Donna Noble who both helped him save the universe (again). He was soon left alone again however, Martha leaving him to continue her own life and Donna was left by him to save hers.

this is long btw

[identity profile] tsunderes.livejournal.com 2011-02-11 08:10 am (UTC)(link)
Character Notes:
History:
Lucifer has a history as long as time itself. Luckily, I can condense about 50 billion years of it into about three sentences.

Here we go.

Lucifer and Michael were bros and made the universe by God's will, but Lucifer didn't like the shit going down in Heaven, meaning nothing. So he rebelled against God, and his bro had to smite him, and Lucifer fell into Hell. So Lucifer rulled over Hell for the rest of time for his punishment, and shit was pretty cash, actually.

That was easy enough. Now let's get to what happens in the series. So we start off with The Sandman.

Morpheus is the personification of Dream, one of The Endless. However, he was imprisoned by a mortal, and lived for about one hundred years as his kingdom decayed in his absence. Three precious sources of power were also taken from him. One he escaped his prison, he sought to reclaim them. One of his items, his "crown" (which is a really fugly thing) fell in the hands of one of the lesser demons of Hell. Of course, entering Hell uninvited was treading into Lucifer's domain, so Morpheus approached it carefully. However, Lucifer humored the Lord of Dreams, and allowed the lesser demons and Morpheus to engage in a verbal duel. Morpheus won, naturally, but he also manages to piss off all of Hell before he leaves. Lucifer vows to kill him because oh fuck no you do not humiliate Lucifer.

However, in one of the oddest acts of irony, Morpheus decides to return to Hell not long after. After being scorned by his siblings for banishing a woman to hell for 10,000 years because she would not become his Queen (bitter much?), his siblings convinced him that this was over-reacting. As such, he decided to return to Hell so that he could free his old lover, Nada. However, when he arrives, Lucifer comes to meet him, telling him that he quit. For real. They talk as Lucifer locks up Hell before they leave, since he had already banished the demons and souls there elsewhere, and their conversation ends with an exchange. Lucifer gives Morpheus the key to Hell, and thus the lordship over it, and Morpheus does Lucifer a favor by cutting off his wings.

Morpheus eventually met with many Gods and spirits seeking the ownership of Hell, but eventually, God himself intervened and it was a pair of angels that took over Hell. Duma, the angel of silence, and Remiel, who is set over those who rise, took over Hell, much to Remiel's chagrin. Lucifer, however, went to Perth, Australia for a while, and admitted that sunsets were pretty cool, yeah. After that, he moved to Los Angeles and started a bar, Lux, which he plays the piano at and owns.

At this point, we dive into the series of Lucifer, and the plot lines are a little complicated, so bear with me as I introduce the key players.

One of the most important people to Lucifer, in a way, is Mazikeen, who is of a race descended from Lilith. She helps him out a lot, and is important later. There's also Jill Presto, a cabaret worker. Jill is possessed by the Basanos, who are a living tarot deck. Elaine Belloc is the son of Michael, through nothing less than crazy magic, so she's an Archangel.

Lucifer goes to the Basanos for a Tarot reading, first off, introducing them and Jill, who are more important later. After this, Lucifer decides that he wants his wings back, so he goes to the Realm of the Windowless Rooms, which is the realm of the Japanese Gods. Because of their power, the Japanese Gods are reluctant to give them back, so they plan to assassinate him. Of course, that doesn't work at all. He eventually gets them back, of course, and they're no longer demonic! Yay for him.

Character Notes:
History:

A long time ago, Kain was born in the city of Baron. His father, Ricard Highwind, was the leader of Baron's Dragoon Army. After he was killed in a battle, King Baron had adopted Kain and expected him to become like his father. During his childhood, he became friends with Cecil Harvey and Rosa Farrell. He got off to a rocky start with Cecil, but Rosa managed to stop their squabbling at times. Soon, when Kain had grown up, he was promoted to become the commander of the Dragoons. He and his men was then forced to commit underhanded acts under the King's name.

Soon after the incident at Mysidia, Kain was forced to accompany Cecil onto a mission in the village of Mist. After traversing through the cave of Mist, they arrived, only to see the village go up in flames after the ring they delivered was a hidden bomb.

Kain then finally realized that the King had finally gone too far and decided that he and Cecil would put a stop to his evil, but Kain's thoughts were drifting to Rosa, the thought of her being in the King's grasp worried him. Soon, they came upon a young girl with the power to summon magical beasts and saw her mother lying dead on the ground.

The duo realized the dragon they killed was her mother's summon, and the girl grew angry at that revelation and unleashed a powerful giant that split the land in half, separating Cecil and Kain...

[identity profile] dragoon234.livejournal.com 2011-02-11 10:53 pm (UTC)(link)
After the quake, Kain began to head back to Baron, to try to save Rosa, if he could. But by the time he got there, Rosa was already gone. Instead, the King had installed Golbez as the leader of the Red Wings. Kain argued that Cecil was still alive, but the king would have none of it and declared Kain as the second-in-command of the Red Wings.

Kain tried to escape from Baron, but Golbez caught him and began to perform a mind-controlling spell on him, making him his minion.

Soon, the brainwashed Kain and Golbez went on their missions, killing people for the crystals. Soon, they arrived at Fabul and sent the Red Wings to attack the people there. Despite help from Cecil and the others, Golbez had them over-powered. Kain finally confronted his friend and they fought until Kain gained the upper hand and was about to kill him when Rosa came in and begged him to stop. Kain felt emotions run through his mind, his infatuation with her stayed his hand as Golbez grabbed her and they left Fabul, leaving behind a near-dead Cecil and his comrades.

The battle in Kain's mind was raging inside. His feelings for Rosa and jealousy of Cecil fought with his common sense. It was almost a losing battle as his passionate side had the upper hand.

But there was hope. When Cecil came to the tower to hand over the last crystal for Rosa's safety and Golbez was killed by the power of Meteo, Kain's brainwashing state was finally broken and all thoughts and actions returned to him.

As Cecil and Rosa rejoiced at their reunion, Kain felt like he didn't deserve their friendship, like he was in the way. He concealed his guilt with his stoic demeanor and decided to help Cecil.

As soon as they left Baron on Cid's airship, they had went down to the underground and tried to protect the dark crystals, but failed yet again as Golbez was one step ahead of the heroes. After many trials and tribulations, Kain was once again possessed by Golbez yet again and left Cecil once more.

After confronting Golbez once more, Kain returned to his senses and was once again accepted by the reluctant party. Finally, they traveled back to the moon and fought the cause of it all: A powerful being named Zemus. He was defeated, but his hatred gave birth to another monster called Zeromus, which decided to bring havoc upon the planet. But Cecil and the party managed to stave off Zeromus and kill him.

After that, the party returned to the planet and Kain left on a solitary journey to redeem himself for his sins...

Personailty:

Kain is a somewhat stoic young man with a kind-hearted, passionate soul. He has issues with his own weaknesses, and often struggles with his feelings of Rosa. He is friends with Cecil, but he is also jealous of him for being the object of Rosa's affection. Kain hopes to overcome his internal struggles and be free of his suffering and torment.

Current Characters: Aria Montgomery, and I have an app pending for Ginny Weasley

Character: Sage Baker
Fandom: Privileged

Character Notes:

History:
  • Sage has a twin sister, Rose. It’s never specified in canon who was born first, although a strong argument could be made for Sage being the elder.

  • When the girls were very young, their parents died in a plane accident. Previous to this, Sage had phoned her mother upset because of an argument with the girls’ grandmother Laurel; as a result, the girls’ parents ended up missing the flight they were supposed to be on. Sage therefore came to the conclusion that their death had been her fault.

  • After their parents died, Sage and Rose moved in with Laurel. Because their grandmother was so busy running her successful cosmetics company, she was often either away or busy. Therefore while the girls wanted for nothing materially, they were often left with just the staff to care for them.

  • Over time, the sisters became even closer than ever and Sage became fiercely protective of Rose. Somewhere down the line, she became determined that she and Rose would become famous both because it would help score points with the people at school she called friends and because it would help provide a future for them without having to rely on Laurel’s money.

  • Prior to the start of the girls’ sophomore year at high school, when they were sixteen, Sage was disgusted to learn that Laurel had hired a tutor for her and Rose to ensure they would get into Duke College. She became even more disgruntled when Megan arrived and attempted to impose herself on the twins’ lives and in particular how she seemed to be trying to take over her role in looking after Rose. When an attempt to get Megan fired failed, Sage cornered her and swore that she, Megan, would not take Rose away from her.

  • As the weeks wore on, Sage continued to give Megan a cool reception. In a bid to get dirt on the new perceived threat, Sage sought out Megan’s sister Lily and spent some hours hanging out with her, though nothing seemed to come of this.

  • Some way into the school term, Sage and Rose planned a pool party to coincide with a party their school “friends” had arranged. During the party, said “friends” spiked Sage’s drink and this caused her to have a mild allergic reaction. Also during this party, Lily stole one of Rose’s tennis bracelets; Sage discovered the truth behind this some weeks later during a meal Megan had arranged with her and Lily’s father.

  • In a bid to push on with her dream of becoming famous, Sage found a publicist for herself and Rose - she had initially gone by herself when Rose said she needed to study but when the publicist insisted she needed both of the twins to have a chance of selling them, Sage persuaded her sister to come on board. Initially feeling sidelined as the publicist seemed more impressed with Rose, Sage proved her mettle at the opening of a new nightclub they were to perform at, stepping in when Rose froze up at being interviewed by Perez Hilton.

  • As a result of the above, which saw Rose score badly on an English paper she had skipped studying for to go along with her sister, Sage was shocked to learn that Rose had bought the answers to their other upcoming tests. Worried about the consequences should Rose get caught, Sage commissioned a custom purse that had the test answers worked into the design. However when it came to the day of the test, Sage dropped hints to Megan that something wasn’t quite right, ultimately resulting in Rose getting caught and grounded.
  • Re: Sage Baker // Privileged // 2/?

    [identity profile] sage-baker.livejournal.com 2011-02-11 11:15 pm (UTC)(link)
  • Because Megan told Rose that it was Sage who tipped her off about the “cheating purse”, Sage found herself being cold-shouldered by her twin. In a bid to distract herself, she turned her attention to Luis, newly-hired assistant to the household’s chef Marco. Unimpressed at how informal and, to her mind, insolent Luis was in dealing with her, Sage demanded Marco fire him; when Marco refused, Sage took matters into her own hands and set out to get under Luis’ skin as he had apparently got under hers.

  • When the twins’ test scores came in, and with a little help from Megan, Sage and Rose soon put their fight behind them. Meanwhile, Sage found herself struggling with her feelings towards Luis as it became clear that she liked him. Though Rose’s scheme to get them together failed, it did at least get Sage to admit to herself that she was interested in him and the girls decided that their charity gala should be held for Cuban refugees so that Sage could spend more time with Luis. When it became clear that the twins were less informed about the problem than they’d implied, the resultant heated debate with Luis saw Sage confessing her feelings and the pair kissed.

  • Keen to show how committed she was to the idea of being Luis’ girlfriend, Sage bought him a knife set that he had been saving up for. When his reaction turned out to be at best lukewarm, she struggled to understand why but with some help from Megan she considered the situation from Luis’ point of view and discovered she did understand after all. With the help of an old puzzle she’d kept, she apologised to Luis and the couple made up.

  • The girls still had their publicist, but were beginning to find that their commitments with her were eating into a lot of their time - and with both girls now having boyfriends, they were feeling the pressure. Though she was initially reluctant to follow Megan’s advice, Sage eventually fired their publicist; the resultant heart-to-heart with Megan saw her confess that her motivation was to take care of herself and Rose. Megan convinced her that she was still young and had plenty of time to make something of herself; for now she should concentrate on her new relationship and on just having fun.

  • As the weeks progressed, Sage became increasingly worried about the fact that she was still a virgin and about how Luis would react to that fact. After building up the courage to tell him, she was at first offended when he laughed; she then learned that as he was Catholic and thus opposed to no sex before marriage, he was a virgin too.

  • Though initially reluctant, Sage was persuaded to attend a church service with Luis. As the last time she had been in a church was for her parents’ funeral, she was somewhat unnerved and overwhelmed at being there but still lasted the whole service. The next morning she returned to the church, entering the confession booth and finally admitting that she blamed herself for her parents’ death.

  • When Sage returned she was forced to lie to Rose about where she had been; they were soon distracted as Rose confronted Laurel about their grandfather and the fact that he was in fact still alive. Though Rose was worried for Miles, who had fallen ill since his visit to their home, Sage wasn’t concerned - as far as she cared, Miles was just another stranger.

  • When she found out Rose planned on visiting Miles, Sage went to the airfield to either stop her or go with her. Rose said that she didn’t want to be around Sage while she was being so secretive; Sage confessed what had happened the day of their parents’ death but Rose left with the tensions between them still unresolved. When Laurel told her that Miles had died, Sage allowed her guard to drop and the two had a moment of bonding.

    Fandom: Dexter
Character Notes: **Spoiler Alerts for most of the seasons.**

History: Putting seasons 1-3 stuff in bullet points, since Quinn wasn’t around until season 3 and only had a minor storyline until season 4.

His history before joining the cast(seasons 1-2):

-Was a narcotics cop and had two partners. He spent some time dating one of his partners, Yuki Amado.
-His other partner ended up dying from a drug overdose. Quinn knew his partner had a drug addiction but he didn’t report it to his superiors. Instead he tried to help his partner deal with his drug addiction. Unfortunately it turned out to be too little too late. The death of his partner was likely the catalyst for Yuki and him breaking up.
-Met Stan Liddy at some point, a fellow narcotics cop, and gained Anton Briggs as a C.I.

    Season 3:
-Quinn became a detective for the Miami PD’s Homicide department. He was partnered up with Dexter’s sister, Debra Morgan
-He helped Deb with a difficult case by contacting his C.I., Anton Briggs, who had some helpful information on the main suspect of the case.
-Shortly after Quinn and Deb started working together; Deb was contacted by Yuki, who had become an officer of Internal Affairs. She tried to get Deb to keep tabs on Quinn for her, insisting that he’s not who he seems and was responsible for the death of a fellow agent.
-Eventually Deb let Quinn in on what's going on with Yuki and Quinn insisted that she's coming after him because she's still bitter over their break up. Quinn was able to get the investigation dropped and Yuki backs off.
-Once the investigation was dropped, Quinn confided in Deb and told her about his partner that overdosed. The revelation created some tension between the two of them but it seemed to clear up by the time season 4 starts up.

    [identity profile] icanhazmuses.livejournal.com 2011-02-12 08:48 pm (UTC)(link)
    Season 4:
At the start of the season, Quinn was pretty ticked off at Dexter for messing up the blood work for a case he was working on. It was not long before Quinn regretted getting upset with Dexter over the blood work. While investing a crime scene, Quinn found some of the victim’s money locked up in a vault and slipped it into his pocket. Just as he was getting ready to leave, he noticed that Dexter’s caught him in the act. He made several attempts to get on Dexter’s good side, but none of them worked out. Frustrated, he asked Dexter what his problem was and Dexter responded that he didn’t care that Quinn was a dirty cop. The comment hit a nerve with Quinn and in a very heated tone, he told Dexter he’s not a dirty cop and that he gave his job everything he had. The confrontation put Dexter on Quinn’s radar and Quinn started to notice that Dexter disappeared pretty often. The hostility Dexter showed towards him combined with the disappearances started to make Quinn suspicious. He became even more suspicious after he followed Dexter one night and finds Dexter, who was married with a family, at a night club by himself.

When he was not keeping tabs on Dexter, he was spending time with his new sweetheart, Christine Hill. When Christine and Quinn first met, Quinn was working on a homicide case that might have had bigger implications. Christine was a reporter and she started to ask Quinn questions and spend more time with him. He didn’t exercise the best use of judgment and told her that the recent homicides he had been working on might be connected to a serial killer known as the Trinity Killer. Within the next couple of days, all of the information he let slip ended up in a news article written by Christine.

His supervisor, Maria LaGuerta, told him that the relationship was a bad idea and Quinn agreed. He attempted to break it off at first by telling Christine that even though he had feelings for her, their relationship was becoming too complicated. On more than one occasion, Christine told Quinn that she might get fired if she didn’t come up with some new information soon. Quinn told her he couldn’t help her and after she showed up at the station asking for more information, he officially broke things off. The break up was short lived. Christine showed up at his apartment one night, upset and more than a little bit affectionate. Quinn started to make advances on her and when she said, “I thought this was too complicated?” he responded, “I guess I like complicated,” and the two got back together.

All was well for a while longer, but after a few weeks Quinn confided in Deb that Christine was starting to become very intense and she seemed to be everywhere. He soon found out why she was so intense and why she kept on pawing at him to get information about the Trinity Case: she was the daughter of Trinity. After she was arrested, released for lack of evidence, and Trinity rejects her, she killed herself. Quinn was pretty torn up about it for a while but felt better after some comfort and reassurance from Deb.

Following some clues they obtained from Christine before she killed herself and other information they came across, the Homicide department discovered who Trinity was. They were unable to catch him because unbeknownst to them, Dexter had already killed him, but they were excited all the same. The Trinity killer had been at large for over 30 years and has had countless victims. Now they finally had a face to the name and they at least thought they could track him down. Unfortunately their excitement was cut short when they found out that Rita, Dexter’s wife, was killed as the Trinity killer’s last victim.

    Character: Destruction
    Fandom: Sandman
Character Notes: You know those spoilers? They start here. There are lots of them.

History: Most families have their problems. When said family consists of the Endless, those problems tend to be a bit grander in scale. Destruction is one of them, a repeating motif. Of course, even when he was created, even when there weren’t any people to call Earth Earth, he liked to be there. Destruction was different than his nature implied. In his own little way, he got along with all of them, from Destiny on down to Delight. And when Delight became Delirium, he still liked her best. In fact, to date he is the first and only person to kiss his younger sister, Despair.

    Destruction 2/???

    [identity profile] atomsandworlds.livejournal.com 2011-02-13 05:20 pm (UTC)(link)
And when humanity shows up, Destruction keeps right on changing things. In fact, he’s the one who sends Orpheus to see Death, which starts an extremely large chain of events that leads to the Kindly Ones. His name may be Destruction, but he’s more of an agent of change. Old ideas need to be destroyed for the new ones to be created. Nobody ever said change had to be nice. But things change, all the same, as he spends time on Earth. He thinks about who he is. He thinks about what he does.

The Age of Reason changes everything. Not only for the people, but for Destruction. It is hypothesized that light can transform into matter, and vice versa. Destruction seemed to know where this hypothesis would eventually lead. He called it “The Age of fire and flame”. It’s heavily implied to be the atomic bomb. Destruction refused to be responsible for it, or to direct the flow of humanity anymore.

So rebuked his duties, told his family not to follow him, and left the Endless behind, claiming that there’s no such thing as a one sided coin. Where he went after that, only he knew. He spent a lot of time thinking. He always did. He spent a lot of time with humanity. He always did. He tried his hands at creation, at every kind of art he could think of, to very mixed success. He stuck to anonymity, digging out canals and painting chalk on sidewalks in London. Along the way, he found a talking dog named Barnabas, and tried to ignore his new art critic ever after.

300 years later, Delirium and Dream find him. Mostly Delirium. And there were traps set in place, because no one can look for destruction and come out unscathed. It’s because of these traps that Dream had to talk to Orpheus again. It’s because of this meeting that Delirium received Barnabas to look over her. It’s because of this meeting that Destruction explained why he left, and why he wasn’t coming back. It’s because of that meeting with Orpheus that Dream finally mercy kills him, and thus enables the Kindly Ones to take revenge. It’s because of this meeting that everything changes.

Destruction did not attend Dream’s funeral. He gave advice to the new Dream and took his leave. He said he might come around again. Things change, after all.

    Character: Randy “Ryo” Maclean
    Fandom: FAKE
    Character Notes:
History: While born and raised in a very loving home, Ryo lost both of his parents in a horrific incident when he was eighteen years old. A quiet, empathetic kid, Ryo subsequently moved in with his aunt and uncle and then, when he was old enough, out on his own to pursue a career as a police officer.

He, in short, worked his ass off. Ryo was regarded as a hard worker: polite, efficient, and dedicated to his job, he excelled at marksmanship. A bit on the shy and soft-spoken side, however, he made few real emotional ties in or out of work, preferring to leave work at the office and spend his holidays with the aunt and uncle that had taken him in when he had no one else.

This philosophy became impossible to continue subscribing to, though, when he was transferred to the 27th Precinct in NYC and partnered with Dee Laytner. Dee was most things that Ryo was not: loud, outspoken, and bold, and Ryo was often left perplexed and slightly frustrated at his inability to understand Dee’s intentions and thoughts. While Dee confused him, there was also something that inexplicably drew Ryo to him.

During their first real case together, Dee developed a habit for kissing him out of what seemed like nowhere, and while Ryo rarely actually stopped Dee or attempted to push him away, he also never took the initiative, either doubting Dee’s intentions or refusing to admit to himself what others might have seen as obvious.

Current Characters: Minako Arisato, Gwen Cooper, Cho Hakkai and Ken Hidaka

    Character: Brittany S. Pierce
    Fandom: Glee
    Character Notes:
    History:
Unfortunately, there isn’t much known about her canon history and I’m loathe to slip headcanon in here as it can change counting on what the writers of Glee decide to show us in the future. That said, there are several things that I feel influences Brittany in her daily life and I’m going to list them out here in the hopes that that’s enough; at least until she gets a little more character development.

    * Her family is of Dutch lineage and she’s very proud of that fact
    * She’s.... quite promiscuous and seems to be quite proud of that as well. She’s even made out with Kurt (while he was trying to prove to his dad that he was straight)
    * While she was still a Cheerio, she joined New Directions with her best friend Santana and Quinn to spy for their coach, the infamous Sue Sylvester
    * It’s obvious she has an decently extensive background in dance and gymnastics thanks to her usual part in the Cheerios
    * Works to undermine the Glee Club from within, until she starts to get to know the rest of the kids in Glee. Once she gains friends, she’s not as apt to do things to hurt them
    * Is part of the Celibacy Club, but as she’s been intimate with the majority of the school, it’s in name only
    * Called on to teach the club how to do hairography, equating it to ‘cool epilepsy’ (‘Hairography’)
    * She accidentally lets it slip that the three Cheerios (Brittany, Santana and Quinn) are spies for Sue, but she honestly didn’t believe that Sue would use the info she’s gathered against them (‘Sectionals’)
    * In the same episode, she also slips and tells that she’s slept with Santana
    * On Sue’s orders, she and Santana start actively working to woo Finn in order to pressure Rachel out of New Directions (‘Hell-O’)
    * Dates a seven year old after Sue orders the Cheerios to date younger men (‘The Power of Madonna’)
    * Makes out with Kurt to keep her ‘make out record’ perfect (‘Laryngitis’)
    * In the first episode of Season 2, she admits to spending her summer break lost in the sewers (‘Audition’)
    * In the same episode, she accuses the new football coach (Coach Beiste) of molesting her, when in the end it’s revealed she was coached by Sue to get rid of the new coach. Truth be told, she admitted to wanting to touch Coach Beiste’s breasts
    * Her full name is Brittany Susan Pierce and doesn’t like Britney Spears because she feels overshadowed by the pop star (‘Britney/Brittany’)
    * She could possibly have the worst dental hygiene ever according to the dentist. 68 cavities don’t lie (‘Britney/Brittany’)
    * Seems to have a confidence boost after several sessions at the dentist (and under anesthesia) and claims that all the solos in Glee club now belong to her. Of course, she forgets this after a short period of time (‘Britney/Brittany’)
    * She’s a religious person (‘Grilled Cheezus’)
    * Starts dating Artie thanks to a snub from Santana, but while her motives were originally to make Santana jealous, she actually cares for him. After Artie realizes he’s not over his last girlfriend and ponders breaking up with her, she lifts him from his wheelchair and offers to take his virginity. He accepts but breaks up with her anyway after a jealous Santana intervenes (‘Duets’)
    * Stands up for Mr. Schuester, telling Sue that ‘he taught her the second half of the alphabet’. Apparently she was confused and frustrated because M and N were too similar (‘The Substitute’)

    Brittany S. Pierce // Glee 2 of 4

    [identity profile] sound0fdrums.livejournal.com 2011-02-18 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
    * It’s revealed she and Artie have patched up their differences and are officially dating (‘Furt’)
    * She still holds a VERY strong belief in Santa, even going so far as to ask a mall Santa to make Artie walk for Christmas. Coach Beiste dresses up as Santa (at Artie’s request) and and tells Brittany that she can’t give her the thing she wants most that Christmas, instead telling Brittany that she’s going to give her patience. As far as she’s concerned, if she can’t have that one wish, there’s no reason left to believe (‘A Very Glee Christmas’)
    * Later that same episode, Artie takes a severely depressed Brittany home where she found an amazing gift under her tree. Her Christmas spirit back, she took Artie and the new gift back to the club room to show the others. As they entered, Artie stood up, thanks to the ReWalk Santa had delivered to Brittany’s house. Thanks to that, her faith in Santa and the holiday spirit is fully restored
    * Sue forces the Cheerios to choose between Glee and cheering. While her first decision is thanks to her loyalty to the Cheerios, even that is tested when Sue hatches a surefire way to win Regionals: turning Brittany into a human cannonball and threatening her life in the process. She’s obviously squeamish at the idea but it takes Finn asking her if she really wants to risk her life over doing something she loves. In the end, she chooses to quit the Cheerios (and leave Sue in the dust at Regionals) to remain faithful to her friends in New Directions (‘The Sue Sylvester Shuffle’)

    Personality:

Dumb blond. No, really. She’s the stereotypical dumb blond, to the point of saying that recipes confuse her and having issues with remembering the difference between left and right. Now, that said, she’s a good deal kinder and more gentle natured than the other former Cheerios in Glee. Oh, she can get down and dirty with her comments, but that’s usually due to the influence of Santana or Quinn fueling her fire. Left to her own devices, she’s actually quite a caring young woman.

Despite her former promiscuity (she seems to be faithful to Artie so far, thankfully), she still seems to have an air of innocence about her, even so far as to depend on the people around her for guidance. Even though she’s had a recent falling out with Santana, she still trusts her because that’s just her nature.

She’s quite gullible and childish at times (as evidenced by her lingering belief in Santa) and she abhors violence, especially among her friends, but she won’t hesitate to call them out if she feels they need it. Maybe that’s because she seems to lack a mental filter. If she thinks it, it usually comes right out of her mouth. One never knows the things they’ll hear her say.

    Character: Kairi
    Fandom: Kingdom Hearts
Character Notes: Please note that while certain information was revealed about Kairi in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, I haven't finished that yet and will be drawing solely from Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2 (and possibly Chain of Memories.)
    History:

Kingdom Hearts: Kairi grew up in a little town called Radient Garden. Of course, things in her universe tend to get destroyed a lot by little monsters called 'Heartless.' When Kairi was very young, young enough to not even remember it, the Heartless destroyed her home and she and (presumably) her family moved to a place known as Destiny Islands. There, she met her best friends, Sora and Riku. They spent practically every day together until a fateful day when she was fourteen and Heartless attacked the islands. While Sora got to go on a grand adventure, and Riku got to be evil, the Heartless stole Kairi's heart and she spent the entirety of Kingdom Hearts 1 in a coma. Normally, a body without a heart will disappear, but Kairi was one of seven Princesses of Heart, and that made the darkness unable to touch her.

Thankfully, her heart had fled to Sora, and he was able to bring her out of her coma. Unfortunately, she, Sora, and Riku were all seperated for a year.

    Kairi Part 2/3

    [identity profile] lililedger.livejournal.com 2011-02-18 11:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Kingdom Hearts 2 brought in a new enemy: The Nobodies, beings without hearts who sometimes took human form. Kairi was living back on the islands, but due to a Nobody named Namine tampering with Sora's heart, Kairi was unable to remember either of her old friends. As the game went on, she eventually remembered everything, and soon after was accosted by another Nobody, known as Axel. Axel tried to kidnap her, but instead Kairi went through another portal and found Twilight Town. She spent some time interacting with the people there, searching for Sora, before Axel found her again and stole her away to The World That Never Was. There she met Namine, who was trying to help Sora stop the other Nobodies. Kairi and Namine ran through The World That Never Was, and were very nearly recaptured until Riku found them. Saix, the Nobody who had tried to attack them, was destroyed by Sora, and the final battle began.

The Final Battle: While Riku procured a flowery keyblade for her, Kairi had little to do with the final battle. She fought off several heartless, but ultimately stayed behind while Riku and Sora destroyed the last of the humanoid Nobodies. In the end, Namine was revealed to be Kairi's Nobody, and she returned to her rightful place in Kairi's heart. Kairi was the first to return to Destiny Islands, but Riku and Sora soon joined her, and they have been home ever since.

Personality: Though she missed out on a large part of the adventure, losing her heart and her friends has profoundly affected Kairi. While still the stubborn, headstrong girl she was from the beginning, she is quieter. She has always been the thinker of the group, and more so now than ever. However, she is far from cautious.

Kairi is also a loyal and loving friend. As a Princess of Heart, she is kind and gentle, but also upbeat and adventurous. She will do anything for her friends, and she is determined to be with them on the next journey.

    Additional Links: http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Kairi

First Person (entry type): Well, I've never had much patience for computers. I prefer to be outside. Today, however, it's dark and stormy, and no one wants to risk a boat ride over to the little island we used to play on. Which is a shame, because I'd been looking forward to practicing with my keyblade. and I know the boys wanted to race again. They always do.

I'm not quite sure what to make of this website, though. I've known about other worlds for years now, but they aren't supposed to be connected like this. Does this mean trouble's brewing? Are we going to have to fight Heartless again? Because I don't care if Riku and Sora think I'm not ready, I won't miss this one. I'm not about to lose them again.

But then, it seems these worlds have been connected for a while now, and nothing has imploded, or worse. I wonder why I never noticed it before. You would think something like this would make headlines. In fact, until the islands were destroyed, no one but us even believed in other worlds. So it can't be too bad.

Oh, and I made another shell necklace today.

    Character Notes:

    History:

The Program known as Zuse came into being shortly after the inception of the Grid. However, his story, as relating to Tron: Legacy, didn't begin until he met Quorra. He was an open supporter of ISOs and delighted in their complexity. He disagreed with Clu's actions towards the ISOs and assisted Anon and Quorra when they needed help.

He protected her to the best of his ability, until it grew far too dangerous. His immense fondness for her could not account for the fact that she was putting his own life at stake with her impatience. Zuse had little choice but to send her on her way.

Clu allowed him to run a club known as End of Line, where he put on the mask of Castor, and that became his whole life--which caused him to almost forsake his identity as Zuse. Quorra faded to little more than a fond memory of a life that could no longer be.

But then Sam Flynn visited his club, in search of answers and some way to end Clu’s tyranny. Zuse was torn--he was quite happy with how things were going--if Clu found out that a Flynn was in his club, and that Zuse had done nothing--or worse, sided with Sam--then he was as good as derezzed.. As fascinated and intrigued with the young User as he was, Zuse valued his own life more. Just before entering his private lounge with Sam, he signaled for the Black Guards.

The Black Guards attacked, and shortly afterward Flynn and Quorra arrived to assist Sam. In the process, Quorra was injured. While making their escape, Flynn left himself open and his disc was snatched by one of the Black Guards. Zuse took his chance and killed the Black Guard, taking the disc for himself.

He summoned Clu shortly after to bargain. Flynn's disc, key to the secrets of the Grid and essential to Clu's schemes, for control of Tron City. Clu took the disc and upon leaving, bombed the End of Line club. Zuse is supposedly derezzed. He's only given about fifteen minutes of screen time in the movie.

Nymphadora Tonks - Reserved Application - 2 of Several

    [personal profile] wotcher 2011-02-19 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
History: Part I - The Family Tree
Nymphadora Tonks was the only child of Andromeda and Ted Tonks.

Her mother, Andromeda, was born into the Pureblood Black family. The Blacks were both highly respected and more often than not, they were also highly fanatical about blood purity. Muggles and those witches and wizards who had married Muggles to produce Half-bloods were beneath them along with anyone who associated with those Muggleborns. Andromeda was the middle child out of three girls. While her sisters had no problems supporting the family ideology and while she was sorted into Slytherin, Andromeda couldn’t help but be different. She didn’t share the same prejudices. It wasn’t her being rebellious as some believed, it was just who she was.

Her father, Ted Tonks, started life completely opposite from Andromeda. He was a Muggleborn and because of his laid-back yet highly loyal nature, he was sorted into Hufflepuff. He had a great number of friends in most of the Houses. He was friendly and tried to help though lacked a few social graces.

They first met during their Second Year in History of Magic where Andromeda had been instructed by Professor Binns to tutor a failing Ted. They got a long grudgingly at first but Andromeda eventually found herself looking for excuses to be around Ted. For the longest time, neither one of them admitted their true feelings. She told her fellow Slytherins that she was just trying to suck up to the Professors and that’s why she kept tutoring him. Ted told his friends that he was just trying to pass though he’d rather be out on the Pitch. It wasn’t until their Sixth Year, when they shared their first kiss, that they finally realized how they truly felt.

Ted and Andromeda kept their feelings private until after they left Hogwarts. In secret they decided to get married. No one in her family approved. Her family went so far as issue threats of violence and death. They had to have their ceremony in secret. The only members of Andromeda family that attended were her cousin Sirius and her uncle Alphard who was kind enough to gift the new couple a large gift of galleons. That gift allowed them to purchase their own place.

They weren’t married a year when Nymphadora Tonks finally came along.

History: Mina's history, including dates and details not given or elaborated on in either Dracula or League of Extraordinary Gentlemen are headcanon. Due to certain conflicts between Dracula and League of Extraordinary Gentlemen there are some elements of Dracula that have had to be ignored (or twisted slightly) in order for them to fit with both canons - as Mina is originally of Dracula and later in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

Mina was born Wilhelmina Murray, the only daughter in a small middle class family in 1841 in London. They lived comfortably and Mina spent the majority of her time with Lucy, her best friend through school. After school, Mina spent much of her time, and many summers, visiting her friend Lucy in Whitby. Mina was a smart girl, different to her peers through her ideas and had a wish to learn more. Mina learned reading, writing and shorthand and, when she was older, extended her skills into more education aspects and trained to be a chemist.

Mina met a young man by the name of Jonathan Harker, a bank clerk, during the early portion of her life. The two began a courtship and, in 1861, they became engaged. It was during a business trip of Jonathan's when things started to change - not only for the pair but also for Mina's friend Lucy, also. After Jonathan travelled to Transylvania on business Lucy began to fall ill. A man by the name of Van Helsing was summoned to care for Lucy, though his efforts were in vain as Lucy eventually died - something which Mina was unaware of due to being in Transylvania caring for Jonathan. It is not until after Mina and Jonathan, who had married in Transylvania, returned to England that they learned of Lucy's demise and then a much worse fate. It is with the help of Van Helsing that Lucy is finally put to rest after being slain, preventing her vampiric self from rising again.

After an offer from Van Helsing Jonathan began working for him as his assistant, with Mina aiding in various clerical matters, though things became problematic when Dracula returned - the man that they learned to be Lucy's killer and a vampire himself. With the aide of Van Helsing again, as well as their friends Morris and Seward, they fought a dangerous battle in their attempt to destroy Dracula. Their battle was successful but yielded several casualties - Jonathan was killed during the fight but Mina had been captured by Dracula. After having been taken under his influence Mina had been bitten, turning herself into the creature that they'd fought. Unfortunately Dracula's death didn't reverse the transformation. Scared for her fate, her friends and what this meant Mina fled - keeping herself hidden, hoping to keep under control the now bestial nature that lay within her.

Mina met a man named Dorian Gray five years later. In the short time that they knew each other they were together as lovers, Mina attracted to the power of Dorian and him to how interesting she was. Though she was unaware of Dorian's uniqueness, his own 'curse' and inability to age, Mina recognised that there was something special - different - about him. Their relationship wasn't to last and, for a reason still unknown to Mina, Dorian cheated on her. This betrayal broke Mina's heart, though that fact wasn't something that she wouldn't ever tell, and caused her to end the relationship.

Mina has taken other lovers since then, though Dorian's betrayal and her wish to protect both herself and others has kept relationships from properly blooming. In the time between then and when Mina would meet Dorian again, Mina spent much of her time working on her research - though she'd accepted what she had become it did not mean that she was happy about it nor enjoyed it, particularly when it came to feeding. Mina's research currently involves examining her own blood, as well as that of others and animals, as well as looking at chemical based alternatives to help with her need to feed. It's her silent research, not reaching out to other minds in fear of being found or for their repulsion, that has kept Mina's existance silent to that of the world - those that knew her would, most likely, think her dead.

It wasn't until the summer of 1899 that Mina would see Dorian again, her role in the League being that of two things - to entice Dorian into joining the League but also for her own special abilities. Mina's role in the League utilised not only her background in chemistry, and slight surgical knowledge, but her vampiric abilities also. Mina, although at first seen as only a distraction and a set back to the mission of the League, provided more than useful for the League - giving cover in a gauntlet as well as being able to quickly and efficiently take down the enemy. Even though it was later revealed that Mina's purpose in the League was so that Dorian would be able to steal her blood, Mina was a crucial part in preventing the power of the League from destroying the world - as well as in stopping Dorian Gray.

[ History originally written here and used in other applications (e.g. Paradisa) ]

Personality: Mina is a calm and collected individual, though some may see her as cold. Her iron will is what controls and prevents Mina's vampiric nature from showing and being dominant over her life. Mina explains her 'cold' demeanor as her being fearful of where unbridled emotion would lead. She has a sharp wit about her and is able to throw back challenging remarks and sarcasm with ease, something which is a testament to her intellect.

Mina has little patience for annoyances, as was shown with her early encounters with Mr Skinner, and is shown to hold high values and morals - though youth and sweetness aren't traits that Mina holds in a high regard, whereas self-assurity and bad manners are traits that she can't stand. As 'proper' as Mina is for her time there are elements of her that are a contrast to Victorian propriety, not least of all the fact that she is a vampire. Mina is a strong and independent woman, more so since the death of her husband, and has shown that - contrary to her appearance - she does not need a man to look after her. To the contrary, she's an intelligent woman who thinks logically, allowing little to dissuade. When angered, however, this becomes a different story.

Mina's vampiric, almost bestial, nature is a contrast to the woman who is normally presented to you. Her iron will is seen to dissolve and her thoughts - and more precisely her actions - are more aggressive and decisive, logic falling to a more animal will. It is rare that Mina is angered to such an extent, however, and generally irritations, annoyances and even light anger will be reflected back and dealt with by her wit and various caustic remarks. It is only in rare situations that the full force of her anger is seen and usually, when not requiring to feed, Mina only turns to her vampiric nature in a need for defense - or attack if that is the case.

    History:
Once upon a time, Ruby was a human -- sometime in the 1350s to be precise. But, Ruby was dabbling in witchcraft and she got in deep. She sold her soul to a demon named Tammi to boost her witchy talents and wound up getting sent to Hell for her efforts. It should be noted that through some of Ruby's comments made to Dean and Sam throughout season 3 and 4, particularly about remembering what it's like to lose someone and her displeasure to run into Tammi again, I generally make it a headcanon rule that she lost someone close to her (specifics of which she genuinely doesn't remember) in the process to becoming a witch, or perhaps even that was why she began to dabble in witchcraft. In any case, over time, Hell? It changes a person. It rips them up and spits them out and carves them into a new animal. Ruby's kind of the cautionary tale of what would happen if Dean had hung around in Hell too long because after hundreds of years of that torment, she turned into a demon. Her very humanity was carved out of her. The general step-by-step is that Alastair makes sure that his students carve everything out. Leave nothing that might lend to a hint of sympathy, but Ruby still has flashes -- memories. She remembers what being human, feeling things, and even being hurt feels like. Which is pretty much why she gets commissioned by Azazel to rope the Winchesters into releasing Lucifer -- because who better to toy with people's feelings than one of the few demons who can still understand them? And so, Ruby got her very own special covert operation. Only Lilith, Azazel and Ruby were privy to this information, and she set about getting the boys on her side.

She first appeared to them after the Devil's Gate was opened. She stalks Sam and Bobby on their hunt for the seven deadly sins and, when a confrontation ensues, Ruby uses her magic demon-killing knife to take two and a half out. (Sam helps her on the third.) She knows that by making herself A.) a useful presence, B.) a reliable one, and C.) mysteriously badass, she'll get not only their attention, but spark enough interest to eventually warrant some trust. After that she pretty much continues to stalk the boys, but she only makes herself known to Sam and taunts him with pieces of information about Azazel and the whole Antichrist thing. She calls herself a hunter because she knows that she needs to get him interested and eating out of the palm of her hand before she continues on to reveal who she really is. He won't trust a demon out of the gate, she needs to lead him into seeing that she has something to offer him, and then she can lay the smackdown. As she tries to make promises that she knows how to save Dean's soul, Ruby reveals herself as a demon to Sam during their second meeting in an attempt to show off how ~straight forward and honest and trustworthy~ she is. After that, Ruby goes to help Bobby fix the Colt -- despite him trying to threaten her with it -- to make herself, again, seem more trustworthy and like she's trying to genuinely help them. To be a good guy, you need to help the good guys, even when that means fixing the things that can fully and horribly murder you. When Sam threatens her with the Colt, she bribes him into not killing her with further vague promises of Dean's being released from his deal and they make a begrudging pact to help one another out.

    Character: Lucy Pevensie
    Fandom: The Chronicles of Narnia
    Character Notes:

    History:
Lucy was born in 1932, and grew up in London during the mid-twentieth century. At the beginning of the second World War, Lucy and her three older siblings-- Edmund, Susan, and Peter-- are evacuated to the countryside, where they stay with a man named Professor Digory Kirke. The day after arriving, Lucy discovers a gigantic, ornate wardrobe during a game of hide and seek, and is transported to the land of Narnia after entering it. There, she meets a faun named Tumnus, who brings her back to his home with the intention of kidnapping her (as he was to do with any humans he encountered, by order of its current ruler the White Witch). He has a change of heart, though, and brings her back to where he had found her so that she can try to return home the way she came.

After coming back through the wardrobe, Lucy is surprised to find that no time has passed on Earth at all, despite the fact that she spent hours with Tumnus in Narnia. She tries to tell her siblings about the magical land, but they all think she's playing a game and none of them believe her. Later that night she tries and is successfully able to return, and her brother Edmund follows her (though when they go back he tells their older siblings that it's just a game of Lucy's, and not really real). Eventually, all the siblings find their way to Narnia, after Lucy and Edmund convince them to hide in the wardrobe after they accidentally hit a cricket ball through a window of the professor's mansion. There, they discover that Tumnus has been kidnapped by the White Witch for not turning Lucy in the first (or the second) time that he met with her, and the Pevensies decide to go rescue him. Along the way, they are told that the true king of Narnia, Aslan, had prophesied that four humans-- two girls and two boys-- would come to defeat the White Witch. Though Lucy is ready and willing to do whatever she can to help her friend, Peter and Susan reject the Narnians plea for help, believing that it's out of their hands and not wanting to get involved in an otherworldly war. However, Edmund disappears, and they have no choice but to stay and find him. Soon, they discover that he has gone to the White Witch, who he had met during his first visit to Narnia and who had manipulated him into taking her side. Peter, Susan, and Lucy journey to meet Aslan, who they believe will be able to help them get Edmund back. Along the way they meet Santa Claus (yes, really; this series idek) who gives Lucy a dagger to fight with and a potion to heal injuries.

After a long journey, the siblings find their way to Aslan's war camp, where he is preparing to go into battle against the White Witch. They are granted an audience with him, and request his assistance in rescuing Edmund. Most of the other warriors aren't very happy with the idea of working to save someone who had betrayed them and their cause, but Aslan agrees to help. His soldiers successfully find Edmund and bring him to Aslan's camp the next day-- but the White Witch follows soon after, and Aslan ends up sacrificing himself in order to save Edmund's life, something that Lucy (as well as Susan) witnesses. They stay with his broken body throughout the night, and are overjoyed the next morning to find that the magic of Narnia has resurrected him. The battle against the witch follows soon after, and Lucy spends most of the time healing wounded soldiers (including Edmund, who had officially renounced his allegiance with the witch) with the potion Father Christmas had given her. The White Witch is defeated, and the next day, Lucy and all her siblings are crowned Kings and Queens of Narnia.

    History:
Love has a silly little way of taking a person’s life and changing it in unexpected ways, some good, some bad. For Melissa she got a little bit of both in her life when she married Bill Quackenbush. But how could she resist such a charming man? He had been such a romantic, treated her in all the right ways, even going so far as to write love letters to her that she would cherish all her life.

That was why she felt it was the right choice to have a child with Bill. Bill had gotten a stable job at the chicken factory, they had a home, and they were madly in love, all the right reasons to bring a child into the world.

On the night that Candy was born, though, the world seemed to be entirely against Melissa and Bill. They had gotten into his truck as her water broke and headed out to the hospital. Once they were on the road, though, it seemed like the sky itself had been torn open and all the water had come pouring down. Melissa didn’t even remember a cloud in the sky before they’d left. It didn’t much matter, though. The night was cold and the rain was harsh, and to add to their problems the truck had run out of gas.

Bill left Melissa in the truck alone, promising to return with gas as soon as possible. Melissa tried to wait patiently in the truck, but her contractions got closer together and more painful as the time went on. She was barely coherent when she saw three figures approach the car. She knew she should have tried to lock the doors, tried to keep them away, but she was beyond being able to think and instead she let them open the door to the truck, take out a small box. When the oldest woman opened the box the whole truck was flooded with a bright light that seemed to invade Melissa’s body. But she knew it wasn’t after her, it was after her unborn child. Candy.

That night was a blur to Melissa from then on. She couldn’t even remember the light after a time, so convinced that it was a delusion in her pained state. Time went on in the Quackenbush household and Melissa never once suspected that her daughter was different from what she knew of her.

As time went on Bill and Melissa had two more children, two sons named Don and Ricky. Bill eventually became disenchanted with life and took to drinking to hide from it. Drinking led to him losing his job, which led to fights between Melissa and Bill about finding another, and eventually led to resignation that this was the life she now led.

Fifteen years later Melissa was tired by her own life. Her children were her only light left in life as Bill continued to drink endlessly. She gave up on him ever finding work again and instead worked endlessly supporting her family. Then she would come home and clean the house, cook dinner, take care of the kids. And all the while Bill would sit on the couch and drink.

This was the life Melissa had resigned herself to living day in and day out.

History: Thousands of years ago, a devil prince was born when snow was falling (pointless, I know, but the legend did say that) -- This Devil Prince was Mundus, and he quickly acquired all of his powers and quickly took control of the demon throne and ruled the underworld. He had many armies, but his most trusted and loyal knight was the devil named Sparda. However, Mundus would eventually set his sights on the human realm and start to invade it. And the humans were powerless to stop them. Eventually, countless men became possessed by the dark powers of the demons and worshipped them. A holy tower was constructed by diciples of the demon clan. This tower was dubbed "Temen-Ni-Gru" - its very name striking fear into the hearts of man. It acted as a medium between the human and demonic realm. Humans that were secuded by evil climbed the tower in an attempt to join the world of demons.

Sparda took pity on the humans, he didn't want them to spend their brief, transient lives in pain, suffering and slavery and decided to turn on his own kind and defeated his master, Mundus. After he did that, he would seal the demonic realm away from the human by climbing it himself. When he reached the top, the amulets were set as a key, he let his own blood flow with that of a pure maiden, and he figured that since that wasn't enough, he would have to sacrifice one more thing -- his beloved sword, Force Edge and his own demonic powers to supress the tremendous power of the tower. And for two thousand years time stood still for the demons and Mundus. For two millenia, all they had was the fact that their trusted knight turned against them, gave them a bloody good ass kicking and slammed the door in their faces. They were hungry for revenge. Two millenia's worth of hate building up.

After sealing the demon king and his realm, he had the desire to experience the pain and joy of a human being; after many bloody battles, he departed hell to reside in the human world. Eventually, he would meet a beautiful human called Eva, who perhaps stood for everything he admired in the human nature. They would marry and she would bear him twin sons under their union they named Vergil & Dante. Sparda would die sometime after their birth, as they never knew him. Eva told them stories of how their father fought for the weak; having courage and a righteous heart. On a birthday, Eva presented her children with the amulets -- the gift to humans. This happiness wasn't to last.

    [identity profile] yoursuperbeast.livejournal.com 2011-02-22 07:18 pm (UTC)(link)
Eventually, the demons caught up with them to take their revenge on Sparda. Eva would have no chance during a demon attack on her family. And though human and feeble, she told her boys to hide and tried to fight the demons off but was slaughtered. She sacrificed herself to keep her children safe. If Sparda was there, this wouldn't have happened.

Vergil, being the eldest twin, felt at fault. Being weak and powerless would have eaten away at him not to mention he witnessed the slaughter. Even tried to fight the demons off while his brother hid, but he was overpowered and the demons decided to take him with them, as they saw more use in the son of Sparda. Eventually, Vergil was "lost to evil". He grew power hungry through the fear of loss and the need for revenge. He went on to study his father's legend and learned of his power that had been sealed away. He will become a full demon in the process, but that wouldn't matter. He'd ensure the safety of himself and those he loves.

Spending most of his time in libraries scouring them for information that will lead him to absolute power, he met Arkham. A man of immense knowledge of the demonic realm and its mysteries. Vergil decided that this man would be of some use to him alive, so Arkham needed Vergil for the protection on this quest.

To be able to gain access to his father's demonic power, Arkham told Vergil that in order for Temen-Ni-Gru to help them, he needs the amulets, otherwise it won't. A year before the events of Devil May Cry 3, Vergil and Dante clashed as Vergil was making preperations to open the road to Hell. Vergil stole Dante's amulet at this point. Dante threatened to shoot him, but couldn't pull the trigger, seeing this, Vergil saw that Dante was no where near strong enough, Arkham the "madhatter" saw that Vergil was on the verge of changing his mind, reminded him that he needed the amulet otherwise Temen-ni-gru won't help them. Vergil ignored him, told him he can take it anytime and that he shouldn't interfere and threw the amulet back at Dante and they went their seperate ways.

In Devil May Cry 3, Vergil and Arkham were preparing to make their final move. As Arkham sets off to invite Dante along, Vergil is to remove any obstacles while he's gone -- they were surrounded by demons. Vergil slaughters them all, and begins his ascent of the Devil's Tower...

Arkham eventually approaches Dante at his office. Noticing the amulet and asking him if his name is Dante, son of Sparda. Dante gets defensive and wants to know how Arkham knows of such things, and Arkham tells him that it's an invite from his brother, Vergil and tells him to accept the invitation. Dante shows little interest in what Arkham is telling him and so Arkham slams the table into the air and Dante is attacked by demons. With this, Dante now decides he will join the party and as he runs outside, Temen-Ni-Gru is finally erected and on top it his brother. He states that it's almost been a year since they last met and he has no doubts that his brother's got some fun planned for him. Suggesting he's used to his brother's "insane" ideas.

Meanwhile, at the top of Temen-Ni-Gru, Vergil and Arkham stood in wait. Vergil asked him if Dante had the amulet and he told him he did. Vergil looks at his own and states that Dante has no idea of its true power. However, one of the demons that had attacked Dante before: Hell's Vanguard, returned to Vergil's side and tried to reason with him in it's demonic language and slightly flailing. Vergil turned his back on the demon and eventually stabbed it as though the demon had failed him. The demon was sent to retrieve Dante's amulet and, having failing this, Vergil would have to do it himself.

    History:
Since there isn't much about her, I will just provide you with her history!

2000 years ago, the Dark Knight Sparda sealed away the Prince of the Underworld, Mundus. For revenge, Mundus sent demons to kill his family, killing his wife Eva and splitting Vergil and Dante apart. Mind you, this took him almost 1090 years to do so, great tracking skills on Mundus' part. While Vergil ended up getting brainwashed by Mundus and to serve in his army as Nelo Angelo, Dante lived to become a demon mercenary. This caused Mundus to actually be creative in his means to kill Dante, so he decided to create a demon that looked exactly like his mother and dress her up in leather corsets and give her extra big boobs.

So, one day Trish showed up at Dante's office asking whether he was the same Dante who was the Son of Sparda, who had lost a mother and a brother to demons. When Dante asks how she knows this, she doesn't reply and instead just ends up grabbing his sword and impales him with a bolt of lightning. As if she didn't think that was enough to kill him, she throws a motorcycle at him as well. Dante uses his demon powers and stalls the bike from hitting him and instead shoots it and explodes, sending her backwards.

When Dante approaches her, demanding who she is, she takes off her sunglasses and its' revealed that she looks exactly like Eva, Dante's mother. She tells him of Mallet Island and leads him there. Dante is oblivious to the real reason why he's there, or what her intentions are, but he finds himself facing Nelo Angelo several times before he finally kills him, and finds out that it's his twin brother.

It's then when Trish reveals her true self, after being told to do so by Mundus. She shocks him, and belittles him for his stupidity. While she's laughing at Dante, a rock gets loose and almost crushes Trish. Dante moves to save her, and this is when her resolve breaks. He saved her, despite all she did to him. He continues to explain how she looks like his mother, and how she was kind –but Trish? Trish is a soulless abomination and he leaves her at that.

Mundus punishes her for failing, and uses her against Dante. He shows her, with her arms crucified and unconscious. Dante saves her yet again—and goes to fight Mundus. After the battle, Mundus tries to get Dante in the back, and Trish redeems herself by throwing herself in front of him and dying. Dante says the infamous, "I WANTED TO BE THE ONE TO FILL YOUR DARK SOUL WITH LIGHT"

In the game, later on, Trish comes back to life, and after she and Dante embrace, she becomes to be his partner. She leaves after a year or so with Dante to work solo, and that's when she meets Lady. They were pitted against each other by a demon that Trish was hunted. The relationship is strained, but they pick on Dante together.

She returns as his partner in the fourth game when Lady gives them work to do on the island of Fortuna. Trish goes before Dante, disguising herself as a woman named Gloria and worked her way up the Order. She works behind the scenes, gathering information. When Dante finally does arrive on the island, she's already taken care of a lot of demons. After a brief interlude with Nero, Gloria reveals herself to Dante. Dante, in turn recognizing his partner laughs, telling her that: "That look suits you".

In which Trish replies, "What can I say? I dress to impress!"

As the game progresses, Trish seems to be dictating the "plan" (read: yelling at Dante not to go and fuck things up). This is when she enters the game.

    Cassian~Godchild (Reserved) (2/4?)

    [identity profile] deathstrumpcard.livejournal.com 2011-02-24 08:22 pm (UTC)(link)
    History:
Cassian was born to a lower class family in the mid-late 19th century, which raised him until they discovered he had a physical deformity that prevented his body from aging past the point of 12 years old. Upon discovering this, Cassian’s family sold him to a circus where he was taught to be a knife-thrower. This is where most of his upbringing occurred, however he was constantly abused by the ringmaster with a whip.

When Cassian’s an adult, still with the appearance of a young boy, the ringmaster’s girlfriend tries to seduce him. It was really a ploy put on by the ringmaster himself who was laying bets as to whether or not Cassian would fall for her. When Cassian discovers their scheme he snaps, finally having enough of being taken advantage of, and kills both the ringmaster and his girlfriend. From then on he’s hunted by the authorities and sinks deeper into a life of crime; most of his crimes involved murder and assassinations.

Delilah is a secret and corrupt organization run by Alexis Hargreaves, whose main goal is to bring his dead sister/lover back to life. After a few years, Cassian shows up on Delilah’s radar as someone who could be an asset and so agents of Delilah approach him. They tell Cassian that if he joins their group it would be possible that they could find a way to fix his condition with Delilah’s superior medical knowledge. Cassian accepts their proposal, hoping they could fix him, and becomes what is called a “Trump card”. He is placed as Doctor Jizabel Disraeli’s assistant, running errands, stealing items, and, if necessary, killing people for the doctor’s research.

At first the relationship between Cassian and the doctor is borderline hostile as Jizabel hates all humans, preferring the company of animals instead. Cassian, meanwhile, acts hostile to all who look down on him because of his size and thinks that is why Jizabel hates him. However, Cassian begins to realize he was wrong about the nature of the doctor’s animosity; he even develops an affinity for the other man that eventually grows into something stronger.

    Character Notes:
    History:
X-23 is not human. Not by a long shot.

Laura’s story began with a Facility, one that wanted to clone Weapon X (Wolverine) and make the clone perfect where Logan failed. It was a mostly personal experiment for lead scientist Alexander Rice whose father died when Weapon X escaped in the past. So Rice carried on his father’s project, but to create a clone of Weapon X they needed someone who understood genes and would be able to replicate Wovlerine’s DNA.

Enter Dr. Sarah Kinney. Cutting herself off from the outside world, Kinney helped Rice try to replicate Logan’s DNA. Every attempt, though, ended with a failed Y-chromosome. Kinney decided to change tactics, then. She replicated the working X-chromosome to create a female clone of Wolverine that worked. Rice and Kinney’s boss, Sutter, okayed the project and pushed it forward despite Rice’s outrage at the sudden change.

Kinney was made to carry the clone in her womb to full term. She gave birth to a baby girl labeled X-23, who was not allowed to be treated like a child from birth. Instead she was raised a weapon, trained to be a weapon. She was kept in a cell with no bed or toys or anything, she was trained by a master martial artist, she was tortured to create a trigger scent, she was forced to endure things no human should endure. But this went outside the realm of human rights, because X-23 was a clone. Not a human.

Despite the rule against treating her like a child X-23’s sensei and mother both tried to treat her like a child when they could. It didn’t undo the training X-23 had been given, but it was something all the same. That didn’t stop Rice from treating her like a tool, though.

Rice subjected X-23 to radiation poisoning in hopes of awakening her healing factor faster. When it worked she was strapped to a lab table and her claws extracted. She was forced to endure the reshaping of her claws, two in both hands and one in each foot, and the bonding process of the adamantium metal to her claws without anesthesia.

Then they tested her in two ways. The first with a trigger scent. They punished the teacher that treated her like a child by marking him with the scent and making X-23 go into a black rage and kill him. Then they punished X-23 with a woman who invulnerable skin who beat and tortured X-23 when she misbehaved. Her handler, Kimura.

The second test was an ad, though. She publicly killed officials so that Sutter could sell her as a weapon. She killed everyone she was told to and always made it to the rendezvous points in the time limits given. She was spectacular.

Kinney tried to treat X-23 like her child. But she realized she used her too when she took X-23 from the Facility without permission to save her niece Megan who’d gone missing. X-23 saved the girl and Kinney was likely to lose her job. Until Rice had X-23 kill Sutter so that Rice could inherit the Facility. Somehow X-23 let Kinney know what had happened with a picture of the Sutter family and the surviving child. The child X-23 was supposed to kill.

Kinney knew then to get X-23 out. She gave X-23 the last mission of destroying the Facility, which X-23 followed. Killing Rice and several clone embryos before destroying the Facility. But when X-23 went to meet her mother to run off together the scent hung heavy on Kinney from Rice putting it on her and X-23 slaughtered her mother.

    Current Characters: None.

    Character: Skull Kid
Fandom: Legend of Zelda (Just to clarify, I will be taking him straight from his early actions in the Majora's Mask timeline, starting from when he comes to possess the mask itself.)
    Character Notes:
History: A "Skull Kid" is the term given to a child who gets him or herself lost in The Lost Woods. Our little trouble maker happens to be just that - a lost child who was pushed far beyond his own means. Far before he became the villain, Skull Kid was a little goof ball who played music for traveling wanderers that stroll through The Lost Forest. Some time after this, he had become friends with the Four Giants and as time went by, they all grew older and new responsibilities were brought the the groups attention. The four left, leaving poor Skull Kid alone to fend for himself. This left him angry, lonely, and maybe a little envious of his friends' success. Where was his big moment? As the game begins we come to find he has two new friends. Two little faries who go by the names Tatl and Tael - and the trio had resorted to a life of michevious wrong doings. Their most remembered deed was the kidnapping of a very important mask. This mask, Majora's Mask to be precise, was taken from a traveling mask salesman without knowing just what it was -- It was once used by a tribe that would preform hexing spells and torture it's enemies. Little did Skull Kid know that the mask was taking him over slowly -- making the boy into a puppet for it's own selfish gain.

[Anything after this point in the history is when Skull Kid loses Majora's Mask, and will not be taken into account for the character based on the timeline I am taking him from.]

At the end, Skull Kid is saved from the manipulative mask by Link and the Four Giants, who then proceed to remind him that they are still his friends, even if they had other things they had to attend to and take care of. All this causes him to finally break down, realizing all he had done had been for nothing, and he was nothing but a fool for thinking no one cared. He thanks Link for saving him and mentions he has a similar scent as the "fairy boy" that taught him a song a long time ago - linking him as the same Skull Kid from Ocarina of Time. Turning over a new leaf, he starts over with his two farie friends and appears to be happy and playful once again.

Personality: Skull Kid is nothing but a child on the inside. Immature and michevious, he never truly thinks about his actions beforehand. All he wants is a little fun, and he sometimes can forget his actions may just hurt someone in the process. At times he can be a little shy which he covers up with a almost hyper and almost bully like attitude, always playing jokes whenever he gets the chance. All this is a facade of what's really going on inside - A little boy wanting to feel like he has friends and belongs somewhere. While in possession of the mask, he becomes and angry and almost egotistical imp who seems to be out for revenge. He wants to be important, he wants to be remembered, and he's going to have this at any cost.

    First Person (entry type):

It's not fair. It's not fair at all, and I know it. How can they leave me like this? Aren't they my friends--

No. They wouldn't do this to me if they were. Well, jokes on them then! Just watch, I know exactly what's going to happen. They'll be sorry for leaving me. The moon tells me so. The moon... The moon is my friend. We'll do this together. We'll make them regret leaving me behind. I won't be the forgotten one ever again after this. Everyone will remember me for this.

...I'll never be alone again. They'll look up to me. They'll take me back. Just watch. Soon. Just a few more days and it'll all be clear. I'm almost there~

    Third Person:
It was their voice that snapped him out his blank expression, scared eyes darting upward to catch the sight of two little faries. One was light in color, the other a dark deep purple. For a few moments there was nothing but silence between the three - the pouring rain outside grew heavier as one of the faries moved closer to him.

"What're you doing out here all by yourself? Are you stupid or something? It's pouring out there!" The lighter one finally piped up, little wings doing their best to keep her up

Skull Kid couldn't speak. He wouldn't speak. All he could do was look back at his feet and sigh. He didn't want to be alone, but it wasn't his choice. The only friends he ever had left him behind - and it didn't seem to matter. He closed his eyes and sunk in his spot, his body still shivering from the rain -- well, that was until he felt something very warm press up against him. No words could express the gratitude that added to the warmth as he stared at the little orbs of light in his arms. Such kindness from strangers... When just earlier he had felt as if the world was crashing down. Almost upon instinct he huddled closer. The last thing he wanted was to lose these newfound friends.
