Character: Aziraphale
Fandom: Good Omens
Character Notes:

History: It was a lovely day in October when the whole Forbidden Fruit fiasco occurred. In the aftermath, three very important things happened. One: Aziraphale, a principality, lent his flaming sword to Adam and Eve because they might catch a cold without it. And lo, when the Lord asked him where his sword went, he said: I Must Have Laid It Down Here Somewhere. Forget Me Own Head Next. And the Lord did not ask. Two: said angel spent a few moments discussing Things with a demon named Crawly, who didn’t like his name very much at all. But, if nothing else, at least it was descriptive. Three: It started to rain.

Time passed. About 6,000 years worth of it, as a matter of fact. Aziraphale spent an awful lot of time on Earth, and started to like humans as a result of this. The books didn’t hurt. Crawly changed his name to Crowley, and he spent an awful lot of time on Earth, too. He started to pick up a few tricks from humans as a result of this. The alcohol didn’t hurt. Somewhere in between trying to smite each other, they came to the conclusion that they should probably stop doing that and start getting along instead. Mainly because it turned out they had more in common with each other than with their respective Superiors. And lo, the Arrangement was drafted, sometime around the 1000 AD mark. Really, it wasn’t even that important, but it was old enough to earn the capital letter. Sort of like the Magna Carta. All it meant was that Aziraphale would let Crowley do some tempting if it meant he got to do some proper thwarting, and if they occasionally switched jobs, well, it’d all get done anyhow. At the very least, it saved up enough time to go drinking.

Character: Agri
Fandom: Tensou Sentai Goseiger
Character Notes:
History: The Gosei Angels, an offshoot branch of humanity, are split into three tribes. Agri’s a member of the Landick Tribe, with Klingonesque tendencies. They’re aggressive, very strong, more inclined to charge in and hit things than to think about a situation -- but that’s not to say that they’re idiots.

Agri and his younger sister Moune were training on Earth to be full Gosei Angels/Goseigers, when Heaven’s Tower, the link to their home, was blown up by bad guys. Agri and Moune had to become GoseiBlack and Yellow respectively, and join together with the other trainee Gosei Angels on Earth (from the Skick/air and Seaick/water Tribes), to fight the bad guys together.

They have powers from Tensou Jutsu, which involves skills and power focused through various cards, inserted into the mouth of a Tensouder, the devices they carry around with them, conveniently in hammerspace until needed (they look like heads). The Goseigers have different card abilities based on their tribe, but some things are common, for example they all have change cards to allow them to henshin into their appropriate colour.

They now live with an astronomer and his son, who was befriended by GoseiRed (Alata), and they help out when they’re not busy defending all life forms on Earth from various threats. Agri has had to learn to get along with the other Goseigers, and to his surprise has found it not as bad as he’d first thought.

Personality: Agri has natural tendencies towards aggression and hardheadedness which come out at times; but he’s also an older brother, a senior in training, and considers himself one of the more mature, responsible members of the Goseigers. So he’s got layers, which is one of the things I like about him! He matures a little during the course of the show, but a large part of it is just that we get to see him in different situations. He doesn’t change drastically between episode 1 and episode 44 (which is where we are now) -- he’s still recognisable.

He’s a good contrast to his sister, Moune. They’re both aggressive, but to begin with in particular, his aggression is tempered more with experience and calm than hers is. They clash at times over her wanting to charge in, and him wanting to do the right thing and stop the bad guys *properly* instead of just using sheer strength.

He begins to understand her better, and vice versa, over the course of the series. They still clash at times, and they’re both still hotheaded, but he doesn’t worry as much about her. He leaves her to make her own decisions, and trusts that she’ll do the right thing.

They compete at times. He considers himself the strongest member of the Goseigers (< - - this is a quote from Wikipedia!) and definitely considers himself better than her, though he acknowledges - even sometimes to her face - that she’s very skilled and strong and is improving. He’s comfortable knowing more than she does, or being faster, or being better at a particular technique, so he’s always thrown off balance when she does something better than he does. Whether this is intentionally bratty on her part or just her genuinely being better. He’s not annoyed or jealous, it’s just unexpected and weird!

He most definitely has aggressive tendencies himself all the way through the series, such as in one episode where coolheaded Hyde (who’s GoseiBlue and from the Seaick Tribe) wants to take his time and try every possible combination to get through a security door, while the others hold off the bad guys. As there are thousands of possible combinations, Agri gets very quickly mad with this and just blasts his way through.

Character: Kefka Palazzo
Fandom: Final Fantasy VI (gba)
Character Notes:
History:

Once upon a time, in a world the gods of magic blessed with magic and war thousands of years ago, an evil empire was trying to take over the world. A way of pulling magic from sentient magical beings (“espers”) and sticking it into humans was devised by said empire and they made Magitek Knights with this. The first one of these knights, Kefka Palazzo, had something go horribly wrong with this and he slowly turned violent, mood-swinging and pun-happy. The Emperor, who could recognize a golden opportunity when he saw one, turned Kefka into his dirty-work minion and sent him all over to do his, well, dirty work while prepping him as a scapegoat and using him to scare the army into behaving. Kefka wasn’t too happy about being a minion, but recognized that working for the Empire was the only way of attaining the goal he’d found when the magic infusion went wrong: find the gods of magic and join them.

So Kefka went on his merry way, sucking the life out of old espers for more magical power, brainwashing young women with science (Terra), arguing with one general about the ethical use of magics (Leo) and adoring the other for being a magical warrior of death (Celes), pushing scientists in banana suits who did experiments on espers to do even more experiments to get more magic out of them (Cid), terrorizing populations and being unpleasant in general until the game started.

Kefka’s young brainwashed woman vanished while on a mission to capture a new esper, and reports had her fleeing to join the rebellion against the Empire’s imperialistic goals (the Returners.) Kefka was sent to go bring Terra back, which mostly amounted to him whining about how his job sucked, threatening royalty unless said Terra was returned, and then setting the royalty’s castle on fire when nothing else was working and dancing in the flames. At this point, the castle unset itself on fire by sinking underground, Terra got away with the rebellion, Kefka’s minions were killed and Kefka was left to yell futile epithets at the desert.

The next plan went a little better. The Empire was caught up in a battle with Doma, originator of the Returners, but the Esper was in Narshe. The Emperor figured they’d need to go get that esper from Narshe with troops needed in Doma, so he sent Kefka to Doma to end the war fast while luring the more pacifistic General Leo away. Kefka won the war by poisoning the entire damn castle of Doma, including imperial POWs and civilians, although not before having his nose almost punched through his face by a monk who showed up out of nowhere. Also around this time, General Celes decided that an empire that poisoned everyone was not one she wanted to work with and defected.

And having finished all the things, Kefka got an army and marched on Narshe to get that esper. And when he got there, so was Celes and the Returners, and he was happy that he’d be able to drag that traitor back to the Empire until his army was wiped out and his ass kicked, at which point he fled while screaming more epithets.

And when Celes and the rebels snuck into the Empire’s evil labs to save the Espers, Kefka attempted to stop them and succeeded in making them think Celes was double-crossing them to the Empire, but then Celes teleported Kefka and his new minions away and the ‘murder the rebels’ plan fizzled. Kefka managed to sic some cranes on the escaping heroes and their stolen imperial espers, but the Returners defeated the cranes and so his life was terrible.

Character: Moune
Fandom: Tensou Sentai Goseiger
Character Notes:
History: Unknown to ordinary humans, there existed entities which helped and protected them from harm. These were the Gosei Angels, and currently there were five young individuals who were on Earth, training to become full-fledged members. Of course, their plans went awry when the Tower of Heaven - their bridge back to their home Gosei World - was destroyed, and they were forced to live together and fight the threats to Earth as Goseigers. As these five people come from three distinct tribes, each filled with assumptions and doubts as to how the others operated, this was easier said than done. Indeed, the first few weeks of their living together in one place were focused primarily on building ties among the group, and finding middle ground between individuals whose personalities often clash and contradict. However, once bonds were established and the tribes had accepted that they could not afford to act individually in the face of serious threats, the Goseigers have become a single, effective team that had managed to fight off three different sets of enemies - the Universal Annihilation Army Warstar, Earth Condemnation Group Yuumajuu, and Machine Onslaught Empire Matrintis. This was not an easy feat, as these three groups are filled with powerful enemies, each with its own agenda against Earth and an army to carry out their sinister plans.

Moune (GoseiYellow) was the younger sister to Agri (GoseiBlack), and they were from the Landick Tribe. As the name suggests, their powers were derived from earth, and they were also the group's close-range fighters who relied on their brute strength and raw power to turn the tide in battles in their favor. They activated their powers through Tensou Cards and their Tensouders, and they usually acquired new powers/weapons/arsenals once they have proven their courage/strength/spirit. As the series progresses, so do the number of cards that they could use against enemies.

The Goseigers' heroic acts often go unnoticed by the public, as intended by the Goseigers themselves. The only confidantes that they have were a child named Nozomu, whose house was where the team lived in, Datas, a robot that often alerted them to attacks made by the enemies, GoseiKnight, their elusive Sixth Ranger, and Master Head, the Gosei Angels' leader who was unfortunately thought to be lost in the middle of the series. Nozomu's own father, Professor Amachi, was blissfully unaware that he was currently housing Earth's very protectors - and everyone, even Nozomu, wanted to keep it that way.

Personality: Landicks by nature were aggressive, assertive, and hardheaded people. This was especially true to Moune, the youngest, bossiest, and the bluntest member of the Goseigers who was initially against the idea of fighting and living with the other tribes - and rightfully so. Her strict nature had her clashing with the carefree Eri (GoseiPink), and her childish antics had her butting heads with the mature Hyde (GoseiBlue). She was fond of setting rules and forcing others to follow them. When an argument ensued, one could be ninety-nine percent certain that Moune was involved in some way, as she was unafraid to voice out her opinions even if they contradicted others'. It usually fell on Eri or Alata's (GoseiRed) shoulders to break up the fight afterward, or to Agri to rein her in. She could be a bit conceited too, thinking that they were always strong enough to handle whatever the enemy had in store for them - which annoyed her brother to no end. Add impatient, reckless and restless to her list of attributes, and she could be quite the firecracker in the team.

Character:
Mimio
Fandom: Love Neko. Extra chapter (http://www.mangafox.com/manga/love_neko/v01/c005/3.html).

Character Notes:

History:

One day when he was browsing the internet, Toshiaki finds a website that sells the ‘ultimate love machine’ called Mimio, that looks like a sexy girl with cat ears. Toshiaki is more interested in her personality itself, since it’s said to act like a married woman with great cooking skills. He purchases the toy, but instead of receiving a Neko Girl what shows up at his door is a male version of the robot. He doesn’t seems to mind and while he knows his primary function is to provide bedroom service he doesn’t seem interested in that either. Mimio gets frustrated at Toshiaki often and insists  that he should use him properly.

Toshiaki keeps rejecting him, saying that he enjoys his company and is not interested in using him. Mimio’s worries increase, and while he cooks and does chores to make sure Toshiaki is happy he is more and more anxious as time goes by. At some point, and driven by Toshiaki’s constant refusal of touching him as anything more than a friend, he tries to jump out of the window. Toshiaki catches him, and confess that the reason he didn’t want to have sex with Mimio is because he sees him as more than just a tool and he’s in love with him. It turned out that Mimio’s insistence that they had to have sex  was because he is in love with Toshiaki as well, and wanted to show him that and make Toshiaki love him back.

Personality:

Mimio is sweeter, gentler, and more polite than the first prototype of Love Neko created, Necoco, as he was designed to have the personality of a wife. His personality is presented to the purchaser as being able to change from a refined young person during the day to a wild one at night. That causes him to balance between a really caring boy and someone who wants to make his owner happy by sexing him up.

He might be more obedient and less manipulative than the previous robot but he can also be just as stubborn and quite passive-aggressive. But, unlike Necoco, he never tries to bite Toshiaki or push him to have sex with him so much that his owner has to kick him to make him stop.

Even if he is a robot, it's shown that he can feel anger, frustration, sadness and love, and probably the rest of the spectrum of emotions like any human being. The Love Nekos are protective of their owner and get jealous if someone else makes advances on them. They often make inappropriate questions to their owners such as what sort of things they like to do in bed and what they use to masturbate. Granted, that causes interesting reactions in said owner, as they probably wouldn't expect such questions from someone so adorable looking.

Mimio cooks, cleans, do all sort of chores and is still ready for any sort of demand Toshiaki can come up with. More than anything he wants to make sure Toshiaki is happy and taken care of.

Character: Kevin Flynn
Fandom: Tron
Character Notes:
History: SPOILER WARNING for Tron: Evolution and Tron: Legacy. (Statute of limitations is up on spoilers for Tron, though. :P)

1982:
  • Flynn: has a PhD in computer science from Caltech, is a hotshot video game programmer for software giant ENCOM, and owns a video arcade called, creatively, Flynn's.
  • His ideas are stolen by a competing ENCOM employee, Dillinger. Dillinger installed a program on the ENCOM mainframe that copied Flynn's code, and he took credit for it.
  • Dillinger is promoted to VP and has Flynn fired.
  • Flynn tries to hack ENCOM's mainframe to prove Dillinger had stolen his code (because two wrongs make a right, obviously) using a hacking program called a Codified Likeness Utility (CLU).
  • Gets totally busted by the administrative Master Control Program (MCP) on the mainframe, resulting in Dillinger shutting down all access, including to ENCOM employees (because that makes sense.)
  • This keeps said ENCOM employees from being able to do their jobs. Among them is Alan Bradley, a total boy scout who was working on a security program called Tron.
  • Cockblocked by Dillinger, Flynn asks his ex, Lora, for help. Lora is now dating Alan. Convenient! And frankly, Alan is a better choice for any kind of serious relationship than Flynn is.
  • They had a simple plan: Lora and Alan would sneak Flynn into ENCOM. Flynn would hack all the things and get Alan access again, so Alan could have Tron shut down the MCP, so Flynn could get his evidence. What could possibly go wrong?
  • They take Flynn to a terminal in Lora's lab. There is a GIANT-ASS LASER. That will be important next bullet point.
  • The MCP busts Flynn yet again, and turns on the laser, zapping Flynn into the computer. Because that is how lasers work, duh. The MCP tells its Trusted Lieutenant, a program called David WarnerSark, to capture Flynn.
  • Flynn appears ("rezzes") in cyberspace. You can tell because of the blacklights. He's all "What the shit is this?" and gets picked up by Sark's dudes within like five minutes, because he is not yet Genre Savvy.
  • He has things explained to him by an accounting program named Ram while they're waiting to get thrown into the gladitorial games, which are basically full contact ultimate frisbee. Because nobody ever just shoots the good guy.
  • Flynn figures out that this is kind of srs bzns, and refuses to kill the program he's facing. This results in him getting tossed onto the Game Grid to play lightcycles with Ram and Tron. This is a tactical error on Sark's part, since Flynn wrote the freakin' game.
  • Flynn uses a 'sploit and they bust out the side of the area. ZOMG HAX.
  • Flynn figures out that he's a User and thus basically god. (Suck it, Neo.) Things begin to go badly for Sark and the MCP when Flynn starts throwing around his User powers. He goes one-on-one with the MCP and gets the assist when Tron kills it, snapping him back to the real world.
  • Flynn gets his evidence, Dillinger is fired, and Flynn becomes CEO of ENCOM. He promotes both Alan and Lora to the Board. Everyone lives happily ever after, at least until they decided to make a sequel.

Character: Nathan young
Fandom: Misfits

Character Notes:

History: - [I will try not to spoiler much but you know the drill]

Nathan Young is lumbered with a community service at his local community centre, for causing trouble in a bowling alley. It all started with him stealing some sweets, then mocking the manager of the bowling alley, and ended with Nathan firing a nail gun into the hand of the man. In the community center, Nathan meets the rest of the misfits (Kelly, Curtis, Alisha, Simon and Gary) and the parole officer (Tony).

On their first day, the juvenile delinquents and the parole officer get caught by a strange storm that makes huge clumps of ice fall from the sky. A bolt of lightning electrifies them and gives the group different superpowers. Kelly can read people’s minds, Curtis can turn back in time, Alisha makes people who touch her skin go into a sexual frenzy towards her ,  and Simon can make himself invisible. Nathan is frustrated because he, apparently, didn’t gain any sort of power. The parole officer gets superhuman strength and goes berserk, killing Gary and later trying to kill all the rest. He attacks the group and it’s finally murdered by Kelly. Nathan and the others bury the corpses under concrete.

Nathan kept sabotaging his mother’s romances to the point where she kicked him out of the house in the hopes of making an actual relationship work. The dependency Nathan shows on his mother is mostly because of his problems with his father, who was never there for him when he needed him. He keeps being extremely hostile towards his mother’s boyfriend and tries to convince her that he’s a pervert.

After having a brief relationship with Ruth, a young woman that later on Nathan discovers was affected by the storm as well (she was 82 years old, but looked in her 20’s again), he realises that forcing his mother to live alone isn’t making either of them happy, especially her. Nathan still wants to protect his mom and keep her all for him, but he finally understands why she kicked him out. They make amends and Nathan decides to keep sleeping in the community service building to give her space.

The new parole office of the group is Sally, a woman who was the fiancée of the deceased probation worker. While the group is ignorant of that fact, Sally suspects that all of them had something to do with Tony’s disappearance and starts to investigate.

Rachel, a girl that got also affected by the storm and gained the power of suggestion, is brainwashing the youth of the town. She runs a cult-like organisation called 'Virtue' that changes people’s personalities to make them ‘better people. As they investigate, Alisha, Curtis and Kelly get brainwashed too. Nathan tries to convince Kelly that she was better before and he confesses that he liked her exactly for her looks and harsh character. When nothing works, he tries to convince Rachel to change them back by threatening her life with a fake gun and dragging her to the roof of the building.

So two parents put their 8-day old baby and a fish creature called Minion in an escape pod and sent them off, to eventually land on earth. Perhaps they could have landed in a good home, surrounded by the means to obtain success in life. But no, a kid from another planet got that. Infant Megamind landed in the Metro City prison.

He was adopted by, and received his earliest education from, the prisoners. They fed him, taught him that policemen were bad and robbers good, and gave him tools to use so that he could do things create a tricycle that blasted down the prison walls. He was a felon by the time he was a toddler.

But he was, under supervision, eventually given the chance to go to school. In spite of trying hard to be liked, he was constantly left out and picked on, a situation not helped by his occasional mishaps and the way that the gifted kid from the other planet (the future Metroman) naturally attracted followers who antagonized Megamind. Eventually, Megamind reached the conclusion that it was hopeless to try to fit in, and that being bad was the only thing he was good at. And so in a giant blue puff of smoke, he got himself expelled from school and sent back home to prison. During the rest of his childhood and adolescence, Megamind would attend school off and on, but for the most part he got time to himself in a special prison cell.

In the years to follow, Metroman would become the defender of Metro City, while Megamind would constantly break out of jail and, with Minion, come up with elaborate plans to defeat Metroman and rule the city. These frequently involved the kidnapping of Roxanne Ritchi, the television reporter who was assumed to be dating Metroman. None of them worked. But if Megamind can be counted on to do anything, it's to keep trying.

If accepted, I'll be starting him pre-canon.

History:

Megamind spoilers ahoy o/

Roxanne’s life seems to be compromised of two absolute certainties – she is going to get kidnapped by Megamind and she is going to be rescued by Metro Man. That’s how the story always goes, isn’t it? The girl is kidnapped by the evil mastermind and the handsome, heroic superhero boyfriend swoops in to save the day.

Except Roxanne is hardly a damsel, and Metro Man is hardly her boyfriend.

But we’re really getting off subject here, aren’t we?

This story starts off as so many others do – abducted after delivering her news report, Roxanne is whisked to Megamind’s lair where she is promptly tied to a chair and is used as bait (again) to lure Metro Man into the city’s observatory where Megamind intends to kill him with a death ray comprised of the power of the sun. Fairly standard, really. No one really expects Megamind to succeed, because he never does. Good always conquers and all that jazz.

Except this time it doesn’t. Megamind’s plan seems flawed enough for Metro Man to escape as per routine, but the super proclaims that the inside of the observatory is lined with copper, which he says drains his power. A giant explosion from the Death Ray distracts Roxanne and Megamind, and when the skeleton of Metro Man lands at the feet of Roxanne and Megamind they’re both shocked (along with the rest of the city) that Megamind had actually managed to do it.

Character: Blair Waldorf
Fandom: Gossip Girl (TV)
Character Notes:
History: SPOILER WARNING: all seasons/episodes up to and including 4.11. Also, this got lengthy so apologies for that.

Blair was born into an elite family living on the Upper East Side of New York. Growing up an only child, there was very little she wanted for, at least materially. As a young child she got to know the people she now considers to be her closest friends: Chuck Bass, Nate Archibald and Serena Van Der Woodsen. She and Nate became a couple at a very young age - since kindergarten, if Chuck's words in the pilot episode are true and not just hyperbole. Some time during their sophomore year of high school, Serena – her best friend and biggest rival - disappeared and all Blair knew was what Serena's mother Lily told her: she was at a boarding school in Connecticut. To make matters worse, Blair's parents separated after her beloved father was caught out having an affair with a male model, Roman. Harold left for Paris and Blair was left to deal with her pain without her best friend. Nevertheless she made the most of Serena's absence and cemented her position as Queen Bee of Constance Billard.

In her junior year, Blair had to deal with Serena's equally sudden return to the city and the revelation that her best friend and boyfriend had slept together behind her back. Initially hostile, it soon became apparent that Blair was simply lashing out through hurt and anger, particularly in light of what was happening with her parents. Though the pair would still clash, and clash often, at least they were friends again and this would become invaluable as the year went on.

Blair also found herself questioning her relationship with Nate, who grew more and more distant from her. She sought refuge with his best friend Chuck and lost her virginity to him in what she insisted was a one-off mistake. However she soon found herself torn between her long-term, dependable boyfriend and her growing feelings for Chuck. The decision was made for her after a pregnancy scare drove them both away from her, and Blair saw no other option than to leave the city.

Though Serena convinced her to stay, Blair still had to contend with her protégée Jenny usurping her position as Queen Bee. Blair was determined to regain her throne and used Jenny’s deceitfulness against her. A broken Jenny admitted defeat and Blair was free to use her scheming ways to get rid of Georgina Sparks, a former friend of Serena's who seemed set on destroying Serena's life. As summer approached, a heartfelt speech by Chuck during his father’s wedding saw him and Blair on the brink of a relationship, agreeing to go away to Europe together.

Blair also struggled to adjust to her parents’ split – her mother uninvited her father from Thanksgiving after he send divorce papers through and when her father brought his new boyfriend to New York for Christmas, Blair was determined to drive them apart. Eventually, she came around and accepted Roman as part of the family, having been reassured by her father that she wasn’t being shut out.

Character: Rose Marion Tyler
Fandom: Doctor Who
Character Notes:
History: Rose Tyler was born on the 27th of April, 1987. According to her, nothing of importance happened in her first nineteen years. Her father was killed in a hit-and-run accident before her first birthday, and she was raised in a small London flat by her diligent mother. Her greatest academic accomplishment was earning the bronze in a junior school under seven's gymnastics challenge, and an unwise romantic association caused her to drop out of high school without graduating. The romance also landed her in enough debt that she needed to combine her mother's work and her own to pay it off.

Although she'd never know it, her life was full of time travel. When she was twelve, a mysterious person (her mother simply said 'Father Christmas') left her a red bicycle for Christmas, when her mother hadn't the money to buy it. Eventually, she would learn her mysterious benefactor was the Doctor, but what she would never know was the strange figure that occasionally observed her on the playground through childhood and on her first date was a friend she'd one day make--who was stranded in the past. She would also never know that the strange drunk she encountered on New Years day of 2005, was also the Doctor, who'd come to see her one last time before regenerating. Furthermore, she even traveled back to her own past and changed the circumstances of her father's death--staying by his side until he died, and causing the driver to stay until authorities arrived as well. Given the circumstances of the change, it's unclear whether her memories of her mother telling her the stories of her father were added to, or were unaffected.

By the time she was nineteen, she worked at Henrik's Department store, had a relationship with long-time friend Mickey Smith, and lived with her mother in the Powell Estate. Her only experiences traveling were a school trip to France and an annual holiday week with her Mother to South Wales.

In the Summer of 2005, everything in her life changed. Late one night, in the basement of the department store she worked in, she was attacked by living mannequins. She was narrowly saved by a strange man who called himself the Doctor, who then helped her escape the building. Afterward, the building was destroyed in an explosion, leaving her unemployed. The Doctor reappeared the next morning and again saved her life from a remnant of the mannequins that attacked her the night before. This time she followed him and demanded more information, but he remained cryptic. After only a brief explanation of the living plastic and of himself, he vanished into thin air, leaving her all the more curious.

Determined to find answers, despite his instructions to forget him, she turned to the internet to find more information on him. In her search, she found a man who compiled information on the Doctor, named Clive Finch. Even he could only tell her that 'the Doctor' appeared throughout time on Earth, tracked through photographs, and that wherever the Doctor went danger followed. His thought that the Doctor was somehow an immortal, however, led Rose to conclude he was simply a conspiracy theorist, and therefore her trail of information on the Doctor ended.

She didn't have to wait long for more answers, however, as it turned out her boyfriend Mickey had been replaced with a plastic duplicate of himself, and she had to be rescued--again--by the Doctor. This time, they had to escape by retreating to his ship, the TARDIS (not before she tripped the fire alarm in the pizzeria she and the Mickey duplicate had gone to, though, to keep the other patrons safe). Her introduction to the Doctor's world was overshadowed by the fact that she believed the plastic-people killed the real Mickey to replace him.
