Character: Aziraphale Fandom: Good Omens Character Notes:
History: It was a lovely day in October when the whole Forbidden Fruit fiasco occurred. In the aftermath, three very important things happened. One: Aziraphale, a principality, lent his flaming sword to Adam and Eve because they might catch a cold without it. And lo, when the Lord asked him where his sword went, he said: I Must Have Laid It Down Here Somewhere. Forget Me Own Head Next. And the Lord did not ask. Two: said angel spent a few moments discussing Things with a demon named Crawly, who didn’t like his name very much at all. But, if nothing else, at least it was descriptive. Three: It started to rain.
Time passed. About 6,000 years worth of it, as a matter of fact. Aziraphale spent an awful lot of time on Earth, and started to like humans as a result of this. The books didn’t hurt. Crawly changed his name to Crowley, and he spent an awful lot of time on Earth, too. He started to pick up a few tricks from humans as a result of this. The alcohol didn’t hurt. Somewhere in between trying to smite each other, they came to the conclusion that they should probably stop doing that and start getting along instead. Mainly because it turned out they had more in common with each other than with their respective Superiors. And lo, the Arrangement was drafted, sometime around the 1000 AD mark. Really, it wasn’t even that important, but it was old enough to earn the capital letter. Sort of like the Magna Carta. All it meant was that Aziraphale would let Crowley do some tempting if it meant he got to do some proper thwarting, and if they occasionally switched jobs, well, it’d all get done anyhow. At the very least, it saved up enough time to go drinking.
They would’ve kept on with the drinking, occasionally interrupted by talking, philosophy, and sometimes all three at once. But then sometime in the 1980s, the anti-christ was born, and that just played merry havoc with everything. To say Crowley panicked is an understatement, not to mention not very stylish of him. In his determined absolute-not-panic, he went to get Aziraphale to help him. It took a bit of persuasion, multiple bottles of wine, and the ever-present threat of being forced to watch The Sound Of Music for all eternity, but eventually, Aziraphale agreed. Something had to be done. They’d watch over the little anti-christ and make sure the apocalypse would be soundly averted.
It might’ve worked, too, if the kid they were watching turned out to actually be the anti-christ. Unfortunately, a game of three card monty played with babies went awry, the anti-christ went AWOL, and the expected hell hound went to an entirely different house. To put it in layman’s terms, shit got real. Crowley and Aziraphale journeyed to Lower Tadfield in a desperate attempt to figure out what happened and where the actual apocalypse bringing kid went off to. Their search was waylaid by people playing silly buggers with paintballs, along with accidentally striking a pedestrian with a Bentley. Don’t worry, she lived, and besides, Aziraphale healed the injured bike.
The pedestrian’s name was Anathema Device. At the time she got hit by the Bentley, she was carrying the Nice And Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch. After that incident, however, Aziraphale ended up borrowing it for some time, which is the polite way of saying he stole it. Aziraphale loved books, but he specialized in misprinted bibles and, more importantly, books of prophecy. And there was not a single book of prophecy better in the world than the Nice and Accurate Prophecies. People’d sell their soul for it, if they could.
With the search put on hold and the apocalypse impending, Aziraphale did what any sensible person would do: read the book. For hours and hours and hours. Occasionally, he’d take notes, too. Very important ones, pertaining to the location of the anti-christ. Once he found out this extremely vital information, he proceeded to round up the witchfinder army, which consisted of two people at present. Then he dithered for twelve hours, because he wanted to tell Crowley about all this, but he really ought to tell heaven first.
Aziraphale went with ought. The conversation did not go very well. It didn’t get any better when he tried to call Crowley and got the answering machine. It got even worse when the current head of the witchfinder army burst in and interrupted, leading directly to Aziraphale being discorporated. The good news was that at least he wasn’t around when his bookstore burned to the ground.
Instead, he hopped around the world, unfortunately forced to spend a little time in Australia and thwarting a televangelist along the way, found a body in a relatively decent condition in England, and made his way to Tadfield via scooter and Madam Tracy. He made it there just in time for the climax. It was a very good climax, especially the part where Adam, aka the anti-christ, averted the apocalypse after all. Aziraphale even got his flaming sword back. All in all, a good time was had by all, except for the devil, the angels (not named Aziraphale), and the demons (not named Crowley), who all had to go home without getting to do any proper destroying at all.
The bookshop returned to it’s previous non-ash state, albeit with a few picture books that Aziraphale couldn’t remember purchasing. And, like any sensible people who just survived the end of the world, Crowley and Aziraphale went out to lunch.
Aziraphale’s being taken from a spot in between, after he and Crowley decide to stop the apocalypse, but before they realize they have the wrong anti-christ.

Character: Helios Fandom: Sailor Moon S Character Notes: I'll be taking him primarily from the anime, since his means of communication, travel, and ability to use the Golden Crystal on his own when he needs to do so is more convenient. I'll draw everything from the anime, aside from what happened with the Amazoness Quartet. I prefer Cere-Cere, Jun-Jun, Palla-Palla, and Ves-Ves end up being Chibiusa/Small Lady's guardians. Helios is also a world-hopper, but he can only travel between Elysion and Earth using mirrors. He can, however, enter people's dreams if they're beautiful(with the character's permission, of course). Like the anime, Helios' spirit is not tied to Endymion/Mamoru's, but when the Sailor Crystal was taken from him, Helios' horn disappeared.
History: As far as we know, Helios was not born, but created, along with the Four Generals. Their sole purpose was to protect the prince of Earth, Endymion, just as the Sailor Senshi protected the Moon Kingdom. There is a very significant difference, though. Whereas the Senshi stand by Queen Serenity, Helios and the Four Generals protect the people of Earth and the general well-being of the planet through Elysion, keeping Endymion's Sailor Crystal, the Golden Crystal, strong in the dream-world. Helios is the High-Priest of this dream-realm known as Elysion, a wondrous place that is made by the beautiful dreams of humans. As long as the people of Earth are happy, and as long as the human spirit remains strong and bright, their dreams will keep the green fields lush, the forests full of kind animals of magical and normal sorts, and the physical planet will flourish, living off of the light of those beautiful dreams. And when the planet is strong, so is the Golden Crystal, the Sailor Crystal of Earth and Prince Endymion/Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask. This Crystal is what protects Elysion, and thus the earth, from internal attack, and when Endymion is not directly using the Golden Crystal's powers, it is kept safe upon the High Priest's head in the form of a golden horn. As the High-Priest, Helios is capable of utilizing its powers for himself in cases of dire need, but he refrains from using it as much as possible, using only a fraction of its powers to simply travel between the crumbling Elysion to the physical world to inform Chibiusa of the growing problems, and provide the Sailor Senshi with the strength needed to defeat the Dead Moon Circus. Helios is as old as humanity itself, but he appears to be fourteen. It's questionable as to whether or not Helios ages, or whether or not he can alter his own appearance as needed, but for all intent's purposes, he'll continue to look only fourteen as he diligently tends to his responsibility of keeping Elysion and the Golden Crystal safe with the help of the Temple Maidens and the Four Generals.

Character: Gellert Grindelwald Fandom: Harry Potter (mainly books but PB is movie)
Gellert Grindelwald || Harry Potter || Reserved || 2/??
Gellert Grindelwald is briefly mentioned in the first novel in the series - Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - on the chocolate frog (a kind of magical candy) card (featuring famous wizards and witches) for Albus Dumbledore. It states that: "... Dumbledore is particularly famous for his defeat of the dark wizard Grindelwald in 1945 ..."
He is not mentioned again until the seventh (and final) book (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) in which his role is mostly regulated to flashbacks in the form of a biography on Dumbledore and some memories. He is, however, crucial to the trail of one of the titular Deathly Hallows, arguably the most important: The Elder Wand (so named as it is made from the wood of an elder tree) and his history can be pieced together like a puzzle.
He is next seen only in a photograph - the lead character (Harry Potter) thinks Gellert - with his shoulder-length, golden curls of hair - has a "gleeful, wild look" to him and later even compares him to his jokester friends Fred and George Weasley - clearly by appearances alone Gellert seems to be fun and a little cheeky - not visibly a 'dark' wizard. Harry is even concerned that Voldemort will be after this charming, handsome young wizard. Gellert is also described as "merry-faced", often seen in these pictures to be smiling "lazily" or laughing.
Before we discover his identity, Harry has another vision whilst Voldemort is after the Elder Wand - Gellert has stolen it from the wand maker Gregorovitch and is discovered on a windowsill "perched like a giant bird" and with a look of delight on his "handsome" face. Gellert lets out a "crow of laughter" as he jumps deftly out of the window (backwards) after stunning Gregorovitch with a spell. A very important thing to note is that Gellert did only stun and not torture or kill in order to escape with the wand - he is no madman. It is not defined how old he is when he stole the Elder wand from Gregorovitch but as he's described as young (by a teenager), it's likely he was only in his early twenties.
Prior to this, however, a young Gellert Grindelwald was sent to live with his great-aunt, Bathilda Bagshot (later to write a History of Magic) in Godric's Hollow where he met Albus Dumbledore, future teacher and Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He must be about sixteen since he'd just been expelled from his own school of Durmstrang for "twisted experiments" and is described as a couple of years younger than Dumbledore, who it seems turned eighteen around this time. In photographs taken around this time Dumbledore and Grindelwald are seen laughing together and either arm in arm or having their arms around each others shoulders, indicating a closeness. Revealed by the author that Dumbledore was gay and in love with Grindelwald, it can be assumed that they were lovers - but this had neither been confirmed nor denied. Being from another time (Victorian/Edwardian when such things were not spoken of) he may be evasive about this relationship in RP, at least at first. At the very least they were very good friends for the few months that Gellert was there.
Rumoured that Gellert wanted to go to Godric's Hollow to find out more about the Deathly Hallows - three magical items said in a fable to have been made by Death himself - the Elder wand, an 'unbeatable' wand; a cloak of invisibility to match no other and a stone that allegedly can raise the dead - but only perhaps through a ghostly or zombie-like form. The Deathly Hallows fascinated both Albus and Gellert and brought them together resulting in many midnight messages to each other's houses and conversations filled with a passionate fervour. Dumbledore later said that Gellert's ideas "inflamed" him - these ideas including a kind of rebellion against Muggles - getting wizards out of hiding and forcing the Muggles (non magical people) into subservience. Gellert originally had the idea it would be for the Muggle's own good but Dumbledore manages to turn this into For The Greater Good. Gellert obviously does listen to his friend in these matters as he adopts this slogan wholeheartedly. Dumbledore calls them "two clever, arrogant boys with a shared obsession".

Character: Agri Fandom: Tensou Sentai Goseiger Character Notes: History: The Gosei Angels, an offshoot branch of humanity, are split into three tribes. Agri’s a member of the Landick Tribe, with Klingonesque tendencies. They’re aggressive, very strong, more inclined to charge in and hit things than to think about a situation -- but that’s not to say that they’re idiots.
Agri and his younger sister Moune were training on Earth to be full Gosei Angels/Goseigers, when Heaven’s Tower, the link to their home, was blown up by bad guys. Agri and Moune had to become GoseiBlack and Yellow respectively, and join together with the other trainee Gosei Angels on Earth (from the Skick/air and Seaick/water Tribes), to fight the bad guys together.
They have powers from Tensou Jutsu, which involves skills and power focused through various cards, inserted into the mouth of a Tensouder, the devices they carry around with them, conveniently in hammerspace until needed (they look like heads). The Goseigers have different card abilities based on their tribe, but some things are common, for example they all have change cards to allow them to henshin into their appropriate colour.
They now live with an astronomer and his son, who was befriended by GoseiRed (Alata), and they help out when they’re not busy defending all life forms on Earth from various threats. Agri has had to learn to get along with the other Goseigers, and to his surprise has found it not as bad as he’d first thought.
Personality: Agri has natural tendencies towards aggression and hardheadedness which come out at times; but he’s also an older brother, a senior in training, and considers himself one of the more mature, responsible members of the Goseigers. So he’s got layers, which is one of the things I like about him! He matures a little during the course of the show, but a large part of it is just that we get to see him in different situations. He doesn’t change drastically between episode 1 and episode 44 (which is where we are now) -- he’s still recognisable.
He’s a good contrast to his sister, Moune. They’re both aggressive, but to begin with in particular, his aggression is tempered more with experience and calm than hers is. They clash at times over her wanting to charge in, and him wanting to do the right thing and stop the bad guys *properly* instead of just using sheer strength.
He begins to understand her better, and vice versa, over the course of the series. They still clash at times, and they’re both still hotheaded, but he doesn’t worry as much about her. He leaves her to make her own decisions, and trusts that she’ll do the right thing.
They compete at times. He considers himself the strongest member of the Goseigers (< - - this is a quote from Wikipedia!) and definitely considers himself better than her, though he acknowledges - even sometimes to her face - that she’s very skilled and strong and is improving. He’s comfortable knowing more than she does, or being faster, or being better at a particular technique, so he’s always thrown off balance when she does something better than he does. Whether this is intentionally bratty on her part or just her genuinely being better. He’s not annoyed or jealous, it’s just unexpected and weird!
He most definitely has aggressive tendencies himself all the way through the series, such as in one episode where coolheaded Hyde (who’s GoseiBlue and from the Seaick Tribe) wants to take his time and try every possible combination to get through a security door, while the others hold off the bad guys. As there are thousands of possible combinations, Agri gets very quickly mad with this and just blasts his way through.

First Person (entry type): I'm sure I've made it out here before Moune. She's such a child. Loves to sleep in. It was adorable when she was small, but now she’s older she needs to take her training more seriously.
I guess I’m being unfair. She’s doing really well, and is focusing a lot more than she was before we were stranded here. But I'm the leader, I'm her big brother, I'm the responsible one, and it's. . . it's so cold I think my nosehairs just froze. This is ridiculous! What am I doing out here at five a.m.? I should be back inside asleep, just like the others, just like Moune, at least until the sun's up!
I don't mind training in all conditions, in fact I welcome it, but it's a little silly to spend an hour in these conditions when I don't actually have to. I can still get ten or twelve hours in today anyway, and it's not as if I have no experience with the cold. I just, uh, just don't like it very much.
Well, I'm nearly at the track. I should do a few laps anyway, since I'm here already. It'd be good for me, I suppose, and then I can tease Moune when I get back about how lazy she is, letting me beat her like this.
Wait, she's here already?!
Third Person:
Magazine in one hand, Aguri stirred his coffee with the other as he watched Moune and Eri squabbling affectionately over the newspaper. It was actually really nice to see how comfortable they'd become with each other.
He'd been distrustful of the Skicks and the lone Seaick to begin with. They hadn't heard much about how other tribes operated, and he was used to relying on Moune and vice versa, and that was all. But necessity had brought them together, and to his surprise he'd found himself liking the other three. They were different, but not in bad ways. All worthy friends and comrades.
Moune -- ah, Moune had apparently won the battle over the newspaper, and was now absorbed in the crossword. She poked Eri, though. "Eri, help me with 7 across!"
Eri was busy eating her dessert, strawberry parfait. “No, make Agri do it,” she said in between slurping tiny cubes of strawberry off her spoon.
Agri shrugged. “I’m studying, Moune. It’s important. If we’re going to cut at least 0.5 of a second off your sprint times, we need to get the right techniques. We need to go to the beach again.”
“Beach?” Eri said hopefully.
Moune groaned simultaneously, “Onii-chan!”
“The resistance is good for your leg muscles,” Agri explained, sighing. “I’ll practice too. I could improve as well.”
“Definitely! I beat you down to the icecream cart before!”
“You had a head start!”
Agri tsked and reached out for his dessert. But the only dessert on the table was the one Eri was nearly finished with. Except hadn't she already had her dessert? With a dawning sense of dread, Aguri put his running magazine down, and inspected the table. "My dessert?" he asked, resigned.
"Sorry, Aguri!" Eri said indistinctly around a mouthful of cream.
He sighed. She looked so happy, and it was almost nice that she was comfortable enough with him to steal his dessert now too. Not just Alata’s. Almost nice.
“You don’t need it anyway, Onii-chan. It’s not healthy,” Moune told him primly.

He was born with Innocence--a powerful substance meant to defeat evil--in his left hand, which caused it to be malformed. His parents abandoned him for that and he went from place to place with no friends until he met Mana Walker. Mana named him Allen and raised him as his own. When Mana died, Allen was approached by the Millennium Earl who said he could bring Mana back to life. The Earl turned Mana into an Akuma, and he should’ve killed Allen and taken over his body but instead he cursed Allen and scratched his left eye, which activated his Innocence. Allen destroyed Akuma!Mana with his left arm that had transformed into an anti-Akuma weapon and as Akuma!Mana disappeared he said that he loved him.
Allen was picked up by Cross Marian after that as an Exorcist apprentice and stayed with him for three years. During that time he had to deal with paying off his master’s debts constantly so he learned several tricks in order to pull that off, including how to cheat at poker. Also, Cross is mean to him. :C He’s a very uncaring master who just likes to sleep with women and drink all the time. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. Also he made Allen do a lot of things without ever telling him why he was doing them, like take care of a random rose that bit people. At the end of those three years, Cross said that Allen needed to go to the Exorcist headquarters, but instead of going with him, he knocked him out and ran off, leaving his golem, Timcampy, with Allen and trusting that he’d be able to find his own way.
It’s revealed here, at the beginning of the story, that because he’s a parasitic-Innocence type, he can be shot by Akuma and not die. (The other type is equipment-type and they die from the Akuma curse because their Innocence isn’t directly connected with them so it doesn’t save them.) He runs into the Millennium Earl on the way to Headquarters and gains his attention. :|
He managed to make it to Headquarters, but they wouldn’t let him in at first because the curse on his forehead confused their system into thinking he wasn’t human. After he said that Cross had sent a letter of recommendation though, and they managed to find it, he was let through.
Another Exorcist, Kanda, had been sent after him at the gate before everything had been cleared up, and they were sent together on Allen’s first Innocence-gathering mission. They had to fight a level 2 Akuma and retrieve the Innocence, both of which they succeeded at, and Allen’s weapon-arm evolved into a laser sword thing, whereas it had just turned into a giant clawed hand before. Kanda went off on his own mission and Allen went back to Headquarters.
After a short break he was sent out on another mission with Lenalee, yet another Exorcist, and they went into a town that kept rewinding itself at the end of each day. It was caused by an undiscovered Innocence-compatible person named Miranda. This mission was complicated by a Noah--people who are part of the Millennium Earl’s family--called Road Kamelot, who kidnapped Miranda, Allen, and Lenalee and stabbed out Allen’s left eye so that he couldn’t use it to see the Akumas’ souls anymore. (It grows back though) He’d have to wing it just like every other Exorcist. For some strange reason, Road developed a huge crush on him during this mission, and it doesn’t go away.
Allen, Lenalee, and two new people--Lavi and Bookman (Bookman is Lavi’s grandfather)--were sent on a mission to find Cross Marian, as the Noah and Akuma were attacking and killing generals, and destroying their Innocence. At a train stop, some villagers caught Allen and told him that they had a vampire problem, so he went up to an old house after he’s rejoined by Lavi, and it turns out that wasn’t a vampire at all--just an Innocence-user named Krory whose teeth were replaced by anti-Akuma weapons thanks to a certain rose biting him. Croooooooss… :| After a battle with an Akuma that Krory was dating, they left to continue their mission to find Cross, who had recently dropped by and asked Krory if he could borrow enough money to get to China.

Character: Mikaela Banes Fandom: Transformers 2007, Revenge of the Fallen, but not Dark of the Moon so FUCK YOU MICHAEL BAY
Character Notes: History: Mikaela has always lived something of an...unusual life, although she's spent the lion's share of her teenage years denying that. She grew up a total Daddy’s girl, and since her daddy was a greasemonkey, she became one too. Papa Banes taught his little girl practical things like how to dismantle, clean, and reassemble the engines of cars.
Unfortunately, Mikaela grew up poor. Even more unfortunately, that didn't stop her dad from 'obtaining' more vehicles to work on, and sometimes Mikaela had to tag along on his expeditions. By the time she hit high school, Mikaela had a record; she refused to point the finger at her dad when they got busted for stealing cars. Despite her attempts to protect him, Papa Banes ended up in jail...
And Mikaela went to high school. By the time we first meet her in Transformers, there's no sign of the greasemonkey her father brought her up to be. She's little more than jock arm candy, honestly, hanging off handsome boys with big arms. She's gorgeous and she knows it, and she's not afraid to work it and reap the "rewards"--namely, popularity.
We see almost immediately that things are not all that they seem with the arm candy, though. Upon being refused permission to drive head dick Trent's jumped-up SUV--because all guys know chicks can't drive, amirite?--she chooses to walk home.
This is the chance Sam Witwicky's been waiting for, and he offers her a ride home in his brand-spanking new junker of an old Camaro. Mikaela accepts, and is subjected to a full dose of Sam's awkward flirting. It doesn't much help that his car is determined to give him a hand, assisting with appropriate music and convenient engine failure. At least Bumblebee gives Mikaela a chance to trot out some of that greasemonkey heritage of hers?
That probably would have been it for Mikaela's involvement in that whole giant alien robot thing, if it weren't for Sam crashing his bike right in front of her while he's attempting to escape from his demon car a few days later. Curious, Mikaela follows him on her motor scooter, and is very nearly flattened by Barricade for her curiosity. Panicked, she and Sam pile into the very car Sam was trying to escape, who takes off with them. Barricade pursues them, and Sam and Mikaela are treated to front-row view of Bumblebee and Barricade beating the bolts out of each other. Unfortunately, the two of them don't get to watch long, and Mikaela gets a chance to show off her badass side as she fends off an attack from Frenzy.
Bumblebee comes out the ultimate victor in the fight, and for the first time 'speaks' to them. He reveals that he's an alien, then transforms and opens his doors in obvious invitation. Mikaela is hesitant to climb in, but Sam manages to convince her, and the two of them drive off.
Bumblebee, after a pause to acquire a new and shinier alt-mode, takes them to meet the rest of the Autobots, who've only recently arrived on Earth. Optimus Prime introduces them, and tells the two young humans who they are, why they're on Earth--and why Sam's been targeted.
The whole contingent of Autobots and Mikaela accompany Sam back to his house so he can look for the glasses of his explorer grandfather Archibald Witwicky. Mikaela is supposed to stay in the yard and keep the 'Bots under control, but gets a boost from Optimus himself into Sam’s window to help him search. The chaos the Autobots are causing in the yard--including a blackout caused by Ratchet walking straight into some power lines--attracts the attention of Sam’s parents. Mikaela tries to hide from them initially, but pops up when she realizes how fail Sam is at lying to his parents, managing to distract them where he couldn't. The two of them recover the glasses, but before they can give them to Optimus, Sector Seven shows up.
Along with Sam’s whole family, Mikaela is taken into custody. Agent Simmons attempts to get information about the Autobots out of them, but both of them fail to cooperate. Simmons pervs on Mikaela a little (ew), and then freaks out Sam by revealing that she’s got a criminal record.
Player nickname: Gene Player LJ: magicgenetek Way to contact you: Email: plotdesigner@gmail.com AIM: plotdesigner Are you at least 15?: Y Current Characters: n/a Character: Kefka Palazzo Fandom: Final Fantasy VI (gba) Character Notes: History:
Once upon a time, in a world the gods of magic blessed with magic and war thousands of years ago, an evil empire was trying to take over the world. A way of pulling magic from sentient magical beings (“espers”) and sticking it into humans was devised by said empire and they made Magitek Knights with this. The first one of these knights, Kefka Palazzo, had something go horribly wrong with this and he slowly turned violent, mood-swinging and pun-happy. The Emperor, who could recognize a golden opportunity when he saw one, turned Kefka into his dirty-work minion and sent him all over to do his, well, dirty work while prepping him as a scapegoat and using him to scare the army into behaving. Kefka wasn’t too happy about being a minion, but recognized that working for the Empire was the only way of attaining the goal he’d found when the magic infusion went wrong: find the gods of magic and join them.
So Kefka went on his merry way, sucking the life out of old espers for more magical power, brainwashing young women with science (Terra), arguing with one general about the ethical use of magics (Leo) and adoring the other for being a magical warrior of death (Celes), pushing scientists in banana suits who did experiments on espers to do even more experiments to get more magic out of them (Cid), terrorizing populations and being unpleasant in general until the game started.
Kefka’s young brainwashed woman vanished while on a mission to capture a new esper, and reports had her fleeing to join the rebellion against the Empire’s imperialistic goals (the Returners.) Kefka was sent to go bring Terra back, which mostly amounted to him whining about how his job sucked, threatening royalty unless said Terra was returned, and then setting the royalty’s castle on fire when nothing else was working and dancing in the flames. At this point, the castle unset itself on fire by sinking underground, Terra got away with the rebellion, Kefka’s minions were killed and Kefka was left to yell futile epithets at the desert.
The next plan went a little better. The Empire was caught up in a battle with Doma, originator of the Returners, but the Esper was in Narshe. The Emperor figured they’d need to go get that esper from Narshe with troops needed in Doma, so he sent Kefka to Doma to end the war fast while luring the more pacifistic General Leo away. Kefka won the war by poisoning the entire damn castle of Doma, including imperial POWs and civilians, although not before having his nose almost punched through his face by a monk who showed up out of nowhere. Also around this time, General Celes decided that an empire that poisoned everyone was not one she wanted to work with and defected.
And having finished all the things, Kefka got an army and marched on Narshe to get that esper. And when he got there, so was Celes and the Returners, and he was happy that he’d be able to drag that traitor back to the Empire until his army was wiped out and his ass kicked, at which point he fled while screaming more epithets.
And when Celes and the rebels snuck into the Empire’s evil labs to save the Espers, Kefka attempted to stop them and succeeded in making them think Celes was double-crossing them to the Empire, but then Celes teleported Kefka and his new minions away and the ‘murder the rebels’ plan fizzled. Kefka managed to sic some cranes on the escaping heroes and their stolen imperial espers, but the Returners defeated the cranes and so his life was terrible.
The emperor sent Kefka to follow the Returners when they headed to find the hidden home of the Espers, because apparently the entire plan was for Terra to join the Returners and find the hidden home. Kefka did what he was told and prepared to fight the Returners to get into the secret home, only for the sheer power of the enraged espers within to stun him into a panic, then get blown off a cliff. By the time he dragged himself back to the Empire, the espers had pretty much nuked everything except the Imperial Palace and the Emperor and Kefka was placed under arrest as a scapegoat for all the Empire’s crimes. He spent the next few days sulking in prison and complaining about how bored he was to anyone who got in earshot.
Of course, once the Emperor got the Returners to go get the remaining espers to not blow up the rest of the world, Kefka was let out of jail to go kill and power suck said espers. It went just as planned: Kefka killed his rival Leo and power-sucked the espers and threw a burning a town to ashes party, then helped the Empire yoink up a Floating Continent with the gods on it so they could take over the world! And he didn’t kill the Returners at the burning town party because…uh. He was under orders to spare Celes for the Empire’s creepy plans and saved the rest because he couldn’t bother to kill such weak people. Yes.
The Returners followed them again, of course. Celes showed up to try and stop her ex-countrymen once and for all; the Emperor offered her a chance to return, at which point she stabbed Kefka and told them both to jump in a lake. Kefka freaked out and demanded that the gods let him join them, and the Emperor decided to cut his losses and kill Kefka before he ruined the take over the world bit by destroying said world. Kefka responded by having the gods mortally wound the Emperor, then punted him off a cliff, then start powering up the gods, at which point the Returners split up—a ninja stayed to try and stop Kefka while the rest got off the Floating Continent before Kefka blew it up. This failed.
And so Kefka became a god and blew the world up. The continents were rearranged and plants and animals died whenre they weren’t warped with magic. Humans lived on, although some despaired and others lived happily just to spite Kefka. And Kefka lasered a few towns but mostly sat around on his Tower ruling and chilling out with his minions.
Eventually, the Returners teamed back up to take him down since that would fix the world, killing off everything in the Tower until they got to Kefka, at which point:
Kefka: Hi everyone I’m so happy to see you and I knew you’d come so I wrote a speech Returners: stop being evil plz Kefka: nnno life has no meaning because everything dies so you should die now k Returners: but life is awesome and killing is nasty! Kefka: prove it Returners: FAMILY FRIENDS AND HAPPINESS Kefka: ….ARE YOU FROM A JRPG OR A SHOJO ANIME destroying is the only meaningful thing TIME FOR YOU ALL TO DIE WITH YOUR STUPID SAPPY MEANINGS OF LIFE Returners: /kill Kefka Day: SAVED Game: WON

Character: Badou Nails Fandom: DOGS Character Notes: Badou is a private investigator and freelance journalist. He sometimes works with Heine Rammsteiner, who he considers his partner.
History: Badou grew up with his brother as his role model and best friend. His parents died before Badou was a teenager, leaving Badou to be raised by his brother. Dave, his brother, was a freelance journalist and chain smoker who often took on risky jobs and investigations. When Badou was roughly a teenager, his brother took on an assignment dealing with what is known as the 'Underground' in canon. This was Dave's last job, as he was murdered by the soldiers of Angelika Einstürzen. One of these soldiers, Richter Berthein, attacked Badou, stabbing him in the right eye and leaving him to die in the Underground.
Badou Nails obviously did not die, becoming what his brother once was, roughly. He's heavily addicted to cigarettes and smoking, or maybe just smoke in general. He earns money by being a private investigator and getting blackmail pictures for the most part. He's been trying to figure out why and understand the circumstances why his brother is murdered, but at the same time has a fear of the Underground understandably. He wears an eyepatch over his eye, mostly working to barely keep himself afloat.
He's met other 'misfits' and has befriended him. He met Mihai and Mimi, who seem to be his saner friends who sometime help him out. He met Heine earlier on in the series, but it's not stated exactly how and when they met. He does admit he was interested in Heine because Heine is from the Underground, but their partnership has evolved more than just personal curiosity. They somehow have become good partners, and have gone on several jobs together. While they're not friends, per se, and they treat each other like crap most of the time, they somehow manage to get things done.
As of recently, Badou was invited by Richter Berthein to find out more information about the circumstances leading to his brother's death. Of course this is a trap, sort of, and Badou ends up getting shot in the stomach. He survives, landing in the hospital. He does get discharged, and he enters into what is becoming the next war between the Above" and the Underground.
Personality: Badou is held together by booze, band aids, an eye-patch, and lots of cigarettes. Badou is probably one of the unluckiest people ever, so he thinks. It’s kind of amazing he’s still alive (he just doesn’t realize this). Badou has mood swings, major ones. Most of the time he's a pretty chill, laid back type of guy. He enjoys the simple pleasures in life (sex, beer, good food, and smokes). He keeps his baggage to himself and keeps his angst to himself. Why he may seem social, he keeps a distance from people. He sees himself as someone who is messed up and not right, but he doesn't give himself pity or let himself dwell on it. He doesn't like talking about his past, as it is a sore spot for him, too. On the other hand, Badou can be quiet the loud mouth spaz. He can be a coward, as he doesn't care for getting shot at multiple times in painful places.
Did I mention Badou is extremely dependent on cigarettes? He goes absolutely ape-shit without cigarettes. A Badou, one without nicotine/smokes, is a much darker Badou. He turns into a violent killing machine that shows no mercy.
He's a lazy ass in general, part time drama queen. He's just living to get by, which means money for cigarettes, food, and an apartment. Overall, Badou is a pretty cool guy. He’s no saint and knight in shinning armor, and he’s not afraid of letting Heine be his meat shield. He’s more laid back when he’s off the job, repressing his mysterious and traumatic past to himself. Badou also can be said to have mood swings, but he’d probably deny that. If Badou likes you, and you like Badou, he’ll probably be your main guy to get drunk and have fun with without things getting too personal. If you two don’t like each other, you probably won’t be getting the warmest welcome ever.
Character: Eris Wasmayer Fandom:Trinity Blood Character Notes: History: Eris has not had what one could call a good life. She's a "witch"-- in the Trinity Blood world, this means that she's the descendent of someone whose DNA was genetically altered by pre-Armageddon scientists. Extraordinary abilities usually lie dormant in such descendents, but in some cases-- such as Eris's-- they inherit the full powers of their ancestors, among them pyrokinesis and ESP-related powers. Even now, there is a huge stigma against these witches. During the war between the humans and the Methuselah, the original witches were hunted almost to extinction by both sides, and their descendants are seen as monstrous and dangerous. In canon, Eris is shown to be capable of contact telepathy-- she can transmit thoughts and intentions to other people through touch, and she can use this to control them. (Based on the description of witches' powers it's hinted that she would also be a pyrokinetic, a psychokinetic, and a mind-reader, though she's never shown using these powers in canon.)
When Eris was young (an undetermined age), she was molested by a priest, and as revenge, she used her powers to make him stab himself to death. Her parents were the only ones who knew that he hadn't killed himself of his own volition, and soon after, they formed a suicide pact because they couldn't handle the shame and responsibility of having a witch for a daughter. Eris was packed off to a foster home, where she presumably lived happily until her foster father found out the truth about what she was and tried to kill her. In self-defense, she made him turn his gun on himself instead. Next, she was sent to an orphanage. During her stay there, eight boys stabbed each other to death. Her motives for these killings were never revealed, but based on how her earlier ones went, it's probably safe to assume that she was provoked in some way. Somewhere along the line, Eris was kidnapped by a group of vampires, who presumably knew about her powers somehow. They took her to a safehouse, where she used her powers against them in order to save herself from whatever fate was in store for her. The vampires literally ripped each other apart, causing such a bloody, gory scene that Eris was shellshocked into silence for days after she was rescued by two of the Vatican's AX Agents, Fathers Abel Nightroad and Tres Iqus.
After a little over a week in a Vatican bunker, it's decided that Eris will be moved to a convent in Rome. Abel accompanies her to the train station to meet one of their nuns, but she uses her telekinetic powers to knock him out and escape. Abel finds her again, but not before they're both chased by a mysterious figure with a gun... who turns out to be none other than Tres.
Though Eris had tried to keep her powers as secret as possible, Tres had looked into her past, noticed the string of mysterious deaths that followed in her wake, and realized the truth about her. Once he reported his findings, he was given orders to kill her, so that she (and her powers) couldn't fall into the hands of the Vatican's enemies. Abel opposes him-- and by extension their superiors-- in order to continue to protect her the way he had promised to. He manages to get her on the train just before it pulls away. Tres orders that it be stopped at the next station so that she can be apprehended, but strangely, one of the station employees tells him that the train isn't going to the next station-- it's out of service and on its way to a repair warehouse. It's at that moment that the real representative of the convent in Rome shows up, looking for Eris. Obviously, they were tricked-- the woman who showed to pick her up originally was a Methuselah, not a nun from the convent. She reveals that she has orders to bring Eris to the Rosenkreuz Orden, the secret organization run by the Contra Mundi. As Tres and the Vatican higher-ups had suspected, the vampires plan to use her as a weapon against the humans.

Character: Moune Fandom: Tensou Sentai Goseiger Character Notes: History: Unknown to ordinary humans, there existed entities which helped and protected them from harm. These were the Gosei Angels, and currently there were five young individuals who were on Earth, training to become full-fledged members. Of course, their plans went awry when the Tower of Heaven - their bridge back to their home Gosei World - was destroyed, and they were forced to live together and fight the threats to Earth as Goseigers. As these five people come from three distinct tribes, each filled with assumptions and doubts as to how the others operated, this was easier said than done. Indeed, the first few weeks of their living together in one place were focused primarily on building ties among the group, and finding middle ground between individuals whose personalities often clash and contradict. However, once bonds were established and the tribes had accepted that they could not afford to act individually in the face of serious threats, the Goseigers have become a single, effective team that had managed to fight off three different sets of enemies - the Universal Annihilation Army Warstar, Earth Condemnation Group Yuumajuu, and Machine Onslaught Empire Matrintis. This was not an easy feat, as these three groups are filled with powerful enemies, each with its own agenda against Earth and an army to carry out their sinister plans.
Moune (GoseiYellow) was the younger sister to Agri (GoseiBlack), and they were from the Landick Tribe. As the name suggests, their powers were derived from earth, and they were also the group's close-range fighters who relied on their brute strength and raw power to turn the tide in battles in their favor. They activated their powers through Tensou Cards and their Tensouders, and they usually acquired new powers/weapons/arsenals once they have proven their courage/strength/spirit. As the series progresses, so do the number of cards that they could use against enemies.
The Goseigers' heroic acts often go unnoticed by the public, as intended by the Goseigers themselves. The only confidantes that they have were a child named Nozomu, whose house was where the team lived in, Datas, a robot that often alerted them to attacks made by the enemies, GoseiKnight, their elusive Sixth Ranger, and Master Head, the Gosei Angels' leader who was unfortunately thought to be lost in the middle of the series. Nozomu's own father, Professor Amachi, was blissfully unaware that he was currently housing Earth's very protectors - and everyone, even Nozomu, wanted to keep it that way.
Personality: Landicks by nature were aggressive, assertive, and hardheaded people. This was especially true to Moune, the youngest, bossiest, and the bluntest member of the Goseigers who was initially against the idea of fighting and living with the other tribes - and rightfully so. Her strict nature had her clashing with the carefree Eri (GoseiPink), and her childish antics had her butting heads with the mature Hyde (GoseiBlue). She was fond of setting rules and forcing others to follow them. When an argument ensued, one could be ninety-nine percent certain that Moune was involved in some way, as she was unafraid to voice out her opinions even if they contradicted others'. It usually fell on Eri or Alata's (GoseiRed) shoulders to break up the fight afterward, or to Agri to rein her in. She could be a bit conceited too, thinking that they were always strong enough to handle whatever the enemy had in store for them - which annoyed her brother to no end. Add impatient, reckless and restless to her list of attributes, and she could be quite the firecracker in the team.
Being the youngest had its drawbacks too, as the Goseigers more often than not look to Agri, Hyde, or Alata in determining what to do next when they are faced with a problem. It also made it necessary for Moune to prove her worth as a fighter and as a worthwhile member of the Goseigers time and again, especially to Agri, the brother whom she heavily idolized and whose approval she desperately sought. She's usually seen with him, following whatever he told her to do - although sometimes this was done with a lot of groans and side comments thrown his way. They were very close, with Agri often looking out for her yet giving her enough space to solve problems on her own. With both being hotblooded however, they were prone to explosive arguments that had become quite the norm in the Amachi household.
Other: She readily championed those who could not and would not defend themselves, be they children or robots in Datas' case, and confronted those whom she felt have wronged others. Moune was also very fond of physical training - something that she and her brother try to do as often as they could in their free time. Maintaining their strength is a top priority to Landicks, after all. She loathed being left with nothing to do, and boredom was something she could not tolerate.
It's also worth noting that as the Gosei Angels grew on Gosei World, they knew very little of how normal humans operate.

First Person (entry type): Mm, training outdoors is simply the best. I can't wait to see Oniichan's face once he finds out I made it here before he did... I bet he thought I'd be late, but this will definitely show him! And serves him right for eating so much of Eri's cooking last night, too, when he knows we're going to do so much today!
I wonder if the others will show up on time, though. Hmph, maybe not, considering they were all asleep when I left. I really think that Oniichan's idea of us training as one group is a great idea - I rarely see the other tribes train anyway, and I want to see how they measure against us Landicks. But if they're going to be late, then we won't be able to train as much as we could! I guess we should do this tomorrow too, just so we can make up for the lost time today. And if they don't want to, well... I'll just make them!
Aha! Just as I thought, I'm the first one here. Hmm, what should I do, then? Ah, I know! Oniichan always says that it's best to start exercises with stretching, so that's what I'm going to do. Then on to a few push-ups, maybe run a few kilometers or so...

At the age of four, during a housefire, Dean was handed his infant brother and told to run outside as fast as he could. That was the night his mother died. It was also the night his father became a hunter.
He was raised less innocent than most people, knowing that the things that went bump in the night were actually demons, ghosts, and other various supernatural beings. For years, he hunted these things alongside his father; their goal was to take down the thing that had killed his mother. And, over the years, that obsession with revenge developed into hatred for the things that he hunted.
Dean's younger brother Sam left for college when he was old enough, leaving just Dean and his father to hunt for the demon who killed his mother and take down everything else in between. They still hunted together, but sometimes they split up to work separate jobs.
Then, one day, his father went missing. Cue Dean seeking Sam out and asking for his help.
Now teamed up with his younger brother, the two were on a mission to find their father, doing the job together from that point on. During this time, they became like brothers again and formed a very special bond which lead most people to assume the two were romantically involved.
Eventually, they were reunited with their father, who informed them that he was hot on the trail of the thing that had killed their mother. But, not long after that, they were in a car accident which left Dean seriously injured and on his deathbed.
His father, desperate, made a deal with the demon who had killed Sam and Dean's mother. The deal was, in exchange for his own life, Dean would be brought back.
After his father's death, Dean (although insisting he was fine) couldn't bear it---couldn't bear the thought that it was him who was supposed to die. During this time, Dean would put himself in harm's way every chance he got, and it would seem he was constantly hoping to die. Later he revealed that he felt it wasn't natural for him to be alive, saying, "what's dead should stay dead."
Despite this, when Sam died, Dean followed in his father's footsteps, making a deal with a Demon. In return for Sam's life, he would get a year to live. Too close to the end, he admitted he didn't want to die.
After the hell hounds made him their chew toy, Dean arrived in Hell. He spent every day down there being tortured and offered to be taken off the racks, but only if he would take to torturing souls. Eventually, he broke down and accepted the offer.
Then he woke up in a pine box and clawed his way out of the grave. Six months after his death, and he was alive and in perfect condition. All of his scars were gone; the only mark on his body was a hand print burned into his shoulder.
After talking to a family friend, he went and demanded answers from his brother, automatically assuming he had done just what Dean and his father had both done before him and made a deal. Despite his attempts, however, Sam informed Dean that he had not been able to make a deal.
This raised a lot of questions, and Dean went seeking answers. It was revealed that an angel had pulled Dean from Hell. When he asked why, the angel simply stated that God had plans for Dean, and commanded him to do it.
After coming back, Dean claimed to remember nothing from his time downstairs, but later told his brother that he remembered everything. He has reoccurring nightmares and a difficult time getting through each day, which leads to excessive drinking.
Later on, Dean learns that the reason he was brought back from Hell was because he was to be the vessel for Michael, an Archangel, who was supposed to fight against Lucifer in a battle.

Character: Ronald Bilius Weasley Fandom: Harry Potter<br /
On March 1st, 1980, Ron was born as the sixth child to Arthur and Molly (née Prewett) Weasley. The Weasley's were a Pure-Blood magical family (who appeared to have some random muggle cousin as an accountant) and weren't very well off. Arthur worked at the Ministry of Magic in the department for Misuse of Muggle Artifacts. This job is considered mediocre at best by the outside world, and is given the least of the Ministry's worries as proven by it's little space and two-man team.
The Wizarding World was current at war when Ronald was born. A man who went by "Lord Voldemort" had taken to power and was trying to get as many followers as possible, not to mention kill any non-magical folk or people he deemed "unworthy" of carrying magical blood. It was dangerous times than with no one being able to trust their neighbors, and even more dangerous if you were a family such as the Weasley's. For, while pure-blood, they were considered "blood traitors" for their pro-muggle (non-magical) leanings. However, Voldemort fell a year later on Halloween when he killed off a toddler's parents and attempted to kill him. Something that night prevented Voldemort from killing him, and because of that the boy became famous throughout the Wizarding World for finishing Voldemort--- a name Ron grew up to know well: Harry Potter.
A little over a year after Ron's birth and mere weeks before Voldemort's downfall, the Weasley family gained a seventh child: a girl by the name of Ginerva (Ginny). Six children was already hard enough to feed and cloth, and with Ginny the only female times in the Weasley household got tighter than it even was before. Ron grew up with everything he owned being second-hand owned from either his brothers or shops in Diagon Alley, and it's quite more likely that he was the third or even fourth to receive them.
Growing up in the Wizarding World introduced Ron to most of his Hogwarts years concepts at a young age. He and his brothers constantly played Quidditch, the wizarding sport, in an Orchard by the house and he became... decent enough. He even took a liking to his favorite team, the Chudley Cannons, who are known by the Wizarding World as a bit of a joke with their outstanding losses. Ron also became an avid and masterful chess player when he was little, which carried out into his later years.
His most significant moments before going to school contain his two older twin brothers: Fred and George. At age three, Fred turned Ron's teddy bear into a large spider when he accidentally broke his broomstick. This incident comes to make Ron absolutely mortified of spiders. When Ron was five, Fred and George tried getting Ron to create an Unbreakable Vow with them (it's never revealed what about). Ron would have gone through with the Unbreakable Vow if Arthur had not shown up and went-- as Ron often uses/puts it-- mental. This is significant because if this vow was broken, the person would die.
In the summer after his eleventh birthday Ron received his acceptance letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. By this time, his two oldest brothers, Bill and Charlie, had graduated Hogwards and started their own careers in working at Gringotts--the Wizarding bank-- and with dragons (respectively). His third older brother, Percy, was starting his fifth year as a Prefect while the twins started their third. While Ron was excited in his own right, he also knew he had a lot to live up to thanks to his older brothers-- and felt he never would. Already there had been three school Prefects in his family, but Bill had also been Head Boy and Charlie Quidditch Captain.

Character Notes:
History:
One day when he was browsing the internet, Toshiaki finds a website that sells the ‘ultimate love machine’ called Mimio, that looks like a sexy girl with cat ears. Toshiaki is more interested in her personality itself, since it’s said to act like a married woman with great cooking skills. He purchases the toy, but instead of receiving a Neko Girl what shows up at his door is a male version of the robot. He doesn’t seems to mind and while he knows hisprimary function is to provide bedroom service he doesn’t seem interested in that either. Mimio gets frustrated at Toshiaki often and insists that he should use him properly.
Toshiaki keeps rejecting him, saying that he enjoys his company and is not interested in using him. Mimio’s worries increase, and while he cooks and does chores to make sure Toshiaki is happy he is more and more anxious as time goes by. At some point, and driven by Toshiaki’s constant refusal of touching him as anything more than a friend, he tries to jump out of the window. Toshiaki catches him, and confess that the reason he didn’t want to have sex with Mimio is because he sees him as more than just a tool and he’s in love with him. It turned out that Mimio’s insistence that they had to have sex was because he is in love with Toshiaki as well, and wanted to show him that and make Toshiaki love him back.
Personality:
Mimio is sweeter, gentler, and more polite than the first prototype of Love Neko created, Necoco, as he was designed to have the personality of a wife. His personality is presented to the purchaser as being able to change from a refined young person duringthe day to a wild one at night. That causes him to balance between a really caring boy and someone who wants to make his owner happy by sexing him up.
He might be more obedient and less manipulative than the previous robot but he can also be just as stubborn and quite passive-aggressive. But, unlike Necoco, he never tries to bite Toshiaki or push him to have sex with him so much that his owner has to kick him to make him stop.
Even if he is a robot, it's shown that he can feel anger, frustration, sadness and love, and probably the rest of the spectrum of emotions like any human being. The Love Nekos are protective of their owner and get jealous if someone else makes advances on them. They often make inappropriate questions to their owners such as what sort of things they like to do in bed and what they use to masturbate. Granted, that causes interesting reactions in said owner, as they probably wouldn't expect such questions from someone so adorable looking.
Mimio cooks, cleans, do all sort of chores and is still ready for any sort of demand Toshiaki can come up with. More than anything he wants to make sure Toshiaki is happy and taken care of.
Mimio (http://i54.tinypic.com/2mfcfib.jpg) is the second prototype of love neko, he hat fangs, cat ears and a long tail. The first Love Neko worked using special batteries (http://www.mangafox.com/manga/love_neko/v01/c004/26.html) located in his foot, but that was changed and Mimio works with run-of-the-mill-batteries (http://www.mangafox.com/manga/love_neko/v01/c004/27.html).
He is a male prototype of sex toy, so, no matter how cute and moe he looks he is designed to top his owner, and he will do exactly that (a detail that Toshika wasn’t expecting). As it’s shown in a previous story, the Love Nekos don’t seem to feel physical (http://www.mangafox.com/manga/love_neko/v01/c001/31.html) pain (http://www.mangafox.com/manga/love_neko/v01/c001/32.html) (but they suffer emotionally). They can also cry, sleep and bleed.

[The camera turns on to show the living room of a house. A boy passes by, holding a tray with two cups of tea, and stops when he notices the computer recording.]
Toshiaki left his laptop on? That’s strange. [He puts down the tray in the table and sits in front of the computer. Now it’s easier to see that there’s a pair of cat ears on the top of his head.] He’s not trying to purchase another sex toy, isn’t he? He is not using me at all, why would he want another?
[The boy pouts and huffs, and one of the ears twitches, making clear that those are very real. His face goes from suspicious to confusion as he studies the page in front of him. His cat tail goes up as he gets interested and he smiles. ] Oh, it’s not a dating site either…good.
Hi, I’m Mimio. What’s this place about?
Third Person:
Toshiaki was reading a book, ignoring his toy and subsequently missing the look of sadness and disappointed that was on the robot’s face while he did the chores. Mimio already reminded Toshiaki that he only had to say a word and he would be all his. But the other man smiled and said that it was not necessary.
The cat boy frowned at the memory. Why Toshiaki keep rejecting him like that? how was he supposed to do what was he made for in the first place? He knew that not everyone enjoyed the product once they get a Love Neko, and he also knew what happened to those robots. They got returned to the high-school electronics club. Miki would probably understand, but Asakura would convince Yamazawa to erase his memories and change his programming. That, if the three boys didn’t decide that doing it was too much effort, and it was easier to dissemble him and start again with a new robot.
Mimio shivered and the glass he was cleaning nearly fell on the floor. He caught him on time, god bless those cat like abilities. He didn’t care about the pain of dissembly, he knew that wasn't supposed to hurt at all, but it wasn't like he could ask those robots that were dissembled. But if he got returned he wouldn't be able to see Toshiaki again. That idea made his chest hurt, so he kept trying to make Toshiaki to love him, no matter how much time it took.

Character: Rudy Roughnight Fandom: Wild Arms/Wild Arms: Alter Code F
Character Notes: First off, an explanation of that mixed-up fandom label up there:
I intend to start him close to the beginning of canon and play through - he'll be accessing the community via a piece of lost technology he found on the road out of Surf Village. Also, due to the original game providing a bit more input on Rudy's personality (and also making the follow-up to his maiming late in the game a bit more intense than the remake did), I'll be blending the two versions of his canon, with a heavy bias towards the 1996 original (hence my use of Dream Chaser instead of Wanderer or both). He really is the same character in both games, it's just he's just given a tiny bit of dialogue in the original and the remake gives him a chance for closure with regards to the town that cast him out at the end of his prologue.
History: Roughly fifteen years before Game Start, a wandering scientist named Zepet Roughnight found a tiny life-form in some ruins he was exploring. It appeared to be a male child, human in appearance, completely innocent. He took the life-form and decided to raise it as his grandson... and gave it the name Rudy. He taught the boy (as, after all, that's what he was in Zepet's mind) to think of his unusual abilities - inhuman strength, the ability to wield the "lost" weapons technology known as ARMs - as tools for protecting people, not for destruction. Not only that, he showed him genuine kindness and love. In short, he taught Rudy how to be human.
Unfortunately, when Rudy was somewhere between twelve and fourteen years old, Zepet died. It was sudden, but not unexpected for a Dream Chaser; he died of wounds sustained in some battle. Rudy buried his grandfather and set out on his own, determined to keep wandering as he had with the old man.
Regardless of that, after a time he settled down in Surf Village, where he worked in the stables. With his ARM hidden among his belongings, he seemed like a relatively normal young man. It's unclear just how much time he spent there, but it was enough, certainly, that when a villager's son went missing, he immediately went searching for the boy. A local legend told of Holy Berries capable of curing any wound or sickness in a nearby cave - the boy had gone there, seeking a cure for his injured father. What he and Rudy stumbled upon was not simply a berry tree, though... the boy had found the tree that had sealed away a terrible monster some years past, and inadvertently set it free. Rudy fought the beast off, but in the process revealed that he could wield an ARM. Superstitious to a one, the villagers assumed this youth capable of wielding "the ancient weapon of demons" was responsible for their bad luck, and cast him out.
...aaaaaaaaaaaaand on the road southeast to Adelhyde (fine, Alter Code F as mangled by Agetec, "Adlehyde"), this him found a bit of lost technology that lit up and displayed something called "Dramadramaduck". As I said, I'm taking him from the start of canon, right after his exile from Surf. I can provide further history upon request.
Character: Saito Fandom: Inception Character Notes: History: CEO of Procius Global, his main rival is Robert Fischer/ Fischer Morrow, who he says will "control half the world's energy" if he is not stopped. He hires Cobb to run an "Inception" on Fischer so that he'll decide to squander his inheritance and allow Saito to take control of the market. An Inception is essentially a coup, staged in another person's ("The Mark"s) dreams. A team of experts will infiltrate said dreams and convince the Mark to do something in the real world he may not have done otherwise. An Inception is considered by most to be impossible, but Saito's convinced if it can be bought, it can be done. He buys out an airline so his hired team (Cobb "The Extractor", Eames "The Forger", Ariadne "The Architect", Arthur "The Point Man" and Yusuf "The Chemist") can sit with Robert in first class. Saito insists on joining the team as they delve into Robert Fischer's subconscious, and Eames dubs him "The Tourist." They design three tiers of dreams, another task said to be impossible and a key element in pulling off a successful inception. It is a "dream within a dream within a dream." On the first level, Saito is shot by one of Fischer's subconscious defenders. When a subject is trained by an extractor to defend his own dreams, his subconscious will militarize and form a literal defense in the dreamworld. Saito is bleeding to death in the van when they go to level two. The van is on a bridge and since time passes slower each level deeper they have until the van hits the water to get through Level Two. By level three his original dreamself has hit the water and drowned. Usually when a person is killed in a dream, they wake up. But during inception everyone must be heavily sedated, and so when they die they report to limbo where an indefinite amount of dream-time will pass. Saito grows old in Limbo, only recalling his original mission and waking up when Cobb pays him a visit. Without a totem, he was unable to tell the dream wasn't reality and didn't attempt to wake up. Saito and Cobb wake seconds after the rest and Saito immediately gets on the airplane phone to get Cobb through American customs, proving to be a man of his word. Personality: He's a typical businessman, and lets that mentality rule most of his decision-making. He also believes that almost anything can be solved with money, as evidenced by his buying an entire airline on a whim. He's extremely determined and doesn't give up even when things get nasty. He insists on joining them in the dreamworld just because it's his venture, despite having no expertise or experience. His business is his entire life, and as we see him in limbo, without family nor friends, we can assume he's something of a loner and doesn't trust easily. But if you're worth more to him alive than dead (i.e. Robert) or if you've managed to gain his trust, he will protect you to the bitter end. He is very much into the philosophy of ends justifying the means, and his moral compass is gray at best. Basically, if it makes him money that's good. If he's losing money, that's very bad. That said, the Inception in sum total would leave a lasting affect on him. Despite going into the job feeling justified this experience will most likely haunt him for some time. He may even doubt that the whole venture was even worth it. But he wouldn't back down or show anyone this weakness, and will instead try to take his success in stride. Character: Kevin Flynn Fandom: Tron Character Notes: History: SPOILER WARNING for Tron: Evolution and Tron: Legacy. (Statute of limitations is up on spoilers for Tron, though. :P)
1982:
Flynn: has a PhD in computer science from Caltech, is a hotshot video game programmer for software giant ENCOM, and owns a video arcade called, creatively, Flynn's.
His ideas are stolen by a competing ENCOM employee, Dillinger. Dillinger installed a program on the ENCOM mainframe that copied Flynn's code, and he took credit for it.
Dillinger is promoted to VP and has Flynn fired.
Flynn tries to hack ENCOM's mainframe to prove Dillinger had stolen his code (because two wrongs make a right, obviously) using a hacking program called a Codified Likeness Utility (CLU).
Gets totally busted by the administrative Master Control Program (MCP) on the mainframe, resulting in Dillinger shutting down all access, including to ENCOM employees (because that makes sense.)
This keeps said ENCOM employees from being able to do their jobs. Among them is Alan Bradley, a total boy scout who was working on a security program called Tron.
Cockblocked by Dillinger, Flynn asks his ex, Lora, for help. Lora is now dating Alan. Convenient! And frankly, Alan is a better choice for any kind of serious relationship than Flynn is.
They had a simple plan: Lora and Alan would sneak Flynn into ENCOM. Flynn would hack all the things and get Alan access again, so Alan could have Tron shut down the MCP, so Flynn could get his evidence. What could possibly go wrong?
They take Flynn to a terminal in Lora's lab. There is a GIANT-ASS LASER. That will be important next bullet point.
The MCP busts Flynn yet again, and turns on the laser, zapping Flynn into the computer. Because that is how lasers work, duh. The MCP tells its Trusted Lieutenant, a program called David WarnerSark, to capture Flynn.
Flynn appears ("rezzes") in cyberspace. You can tell because of the blacklights. He's all "What the shit is this?" and gets picked up by Sark's dudes within like five minutes, because he is not yet Genre Savvy.
He has things explained to him by an accounting program named Ram while they're waiting to get thrown into the gladitorial games, which are basically full contact ultimate frisbee. Because nobody ever just shoots the good guy.
Flynn figures out that this is kind of srs bzns, and refuses to kill the program he's facing. This results in him getting tossed onto the Game Grid to play lightcycles with Ram and Tron. This is a tactical error on Sark's part, since Flynn wrote the freakin' game.
Flynn uses a 'sploit and they bust out the side of the area. ZOMG HAX.
Flynn figures out that he's a User and thus basically god. (Suck it, Neo.) Things begin to go badly for Sark and the MCP when Flynn starts throwing around his User powers. He goes one-on-one with the MCP and gets the assist when Tron kills it, snapping him back to the real world.
Flynn gets his evidence, Dillinger is fired, and Flynn becomes CEO of ENCOM. He promotes both Alan and Lora to the Board. Everyone lives happily ever after, at least until they decided to make a sequel.
Flynn meets and marries Jordan Canas. They have a son, Sam, in 1983. She dies in a car crash in 1985, because Disney Hates Mothers.
Flynn is obsessed with the world inside computers, and it's kinda rough on Sam, since he's already down one parent, and the remaining one is spending every night beaming himself into a computer. It's like WoW on speed.
Inside the computer, in a world he calls "the Grid," Flynn is working with Tron and a new version of CLU to build "the perfect system." This will bite him in the ass.
Everything is going reasonably well, until Flynn et al. stumble on some programs that just evolved on their own rather than being written by a User, the isometric algorithms (ISOs). Flynn considers them miraculous, but CLU is not a fan.
Flynn is still in charge, so he tries to set up a way for ISOs and regular programs (Basics) to live in harmony by appointing an ISO, Radia, to serve as co-Systems Administrator with CLU. It's even sort of working until CLU decides it's Brutus time.
The ceremony promoting Radia is broken up by a virus attacking. Tron urges Flynn to get back to the real world where it's safe (compared to the Grid, anyway), and is escorting him to the Portal back to reality when...
...The band breaks upCLU confronts Flynn, asking whether he's still meant to create the perfect system. Flynn's like "Uh...sure," and then CLU's like "LOL PURGE" and the fighting starts. Tron is apparently killed ("de-rezzed") fighting to give Flynn time to escape.
The Portal closes. It has to be opened from the outside, and Flynn hasn't been telling anyone where he's been spending his nights, so now he's stuck. GOOD JOB, MAN.
While CLU is busy exterminating the ISOs and building himself a Thousand-Cycle Reich, an ISO helps Flynn escape the city.
Things presumably happen to Flynn, but he's not the PC in Evolution, so they're pretty vague. He shows up again after pulling the actual PC out of the wreckage of a city CLU's forces destroyed, just in time to send him on the final boss battle to rescue Quorra, an ISO who's been taken prisoner by CLU.
The PC succeeds, Pyrrhically, and only Quorra lives. Barely. Flynn finds her in the wastelands outside the city in time to keep her from de-rezzing. Deus ex machina amirite?
Flynn and Quorra, the last surviving ISO, bugger off to the middle of nowhere for Flynn to get his Zen on, and CLU takes over the system.

Character: Nathan young Fandom: Misfits
Character Notes:
History: - [I will try not to spoiler much but you know the drill]
Nathan Young is lumbered with a community service at his local community centre, for causing trouble in a bowling alley. It all started with him stealing some sweets, then mocking the manager of the bowling alley, and ended with Nathan firing a nail gun into the hand of the man. In the community center, Nathan meets the rest of the misfits (Kelly, Curtis, Alisha, Simon and Gary) and the parole officer (Tony).
On their first day, the juvenile delinquents and the parole officer get caught by a strange storm that makes huge clumps of ice fall from the sky. A bolt of lightning electrifies them and gives the group different superpowers. Kelly can read people’s minds, Curtis can turn back in time, Alisha makes people who touch her skin go into a sexual frenzy towards her , and Simon can make himself invisible. Nathan is frustrated because he, apparently, didn’t gain any sort of power. The parole officer gets superhuman strength and goes berserk, killing Gary and later trying to kill all the rest. He attacks the group and it’s finally murdered by Kelly. Nathan and the others bury the corpses under concrete.
Nathan kept sabotaging his mother’s romances to the point where she kicked him out of the house in the hopes of making an actual relationship work. The dependency Nathan shows on his mother is mostly because of his problems with his father, who was never there for him when he needed him. He keeps being extremely hostile towards his mother’s boyfriend and tries to convince her that he’s a pervert.
After having a brief relationship with Ruth, a young woman that later on Nathan discovers was affected by the storm as well (she was 82 years old, but looked in her 20’s again), he realises that forcing his mother to live alone isn’t making either of them happy, especially her. Nathan still wants to protect his mom and keep her all for him, but he finally understands why she kicked him out. They make amends and Nathan decides to keep sleeping in the community service building to give her space.
The new parole office of the group is Sally, a woman who was the fiancée of the deceased probation worker. While the group is ignorant of that fact, Sally suspects that all of them had something to do with Tony’s disappearance and starts to investigate.
Rachel, a girl that got also affected by the storm and gained the power of suggestion, is brainwashing the youth of the town. She runs a cult-like organisation called 'Virtue' that changes people’s personalities to make them ‘better people. As they investigate, Alisha, Curtis and Kelly get brainwashed too. Nathan tries to convince Kelly that she was better before and he confesses that he liked her exactly for her looks and harsh character. When nothing works, he tries to convince Rachel to change them back by threatening her life with a fake gun and dragging her to the roof of the building.
Sally realizes that he’s armed with a water pistol, not a real one, and interrupts Nathan’s speech about freedom and individuality. In the subsequent scuffle, both fall down the roof and Nathan ends up impaled on the iron fence below. Sally’s death, however, lifts her influence over everyone and they return to their real personalities. Nathan is buried and at the end of the episode he wakes up inside his coffin, wounds healed and unable to get out. He has a power: Immortality.
Note: I would like to play Nathan from this point, at the beginning of the second season. He’s rescued from the coffin after the rest of the misfits visit his grave and Kelly hears his thoughts.
Personality:
In short, Nathan is the epitome of the Jerkass Woobie trope. He is disrespectful, immature, hypocritical, selfish, and he calls people names; he mocks everyone mercilessly and annoys the hell out of people. Most of the time, the rest of the chars feel the urge to hit him, and more often than not they do exactly that. Kelly is the one who calls him out when he’s being mean to Simon or acting extremely annoying in general.
Nathan wants to be the center of attention and probably has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Everything is a game to him; he’s rarely serious and cares little about what others think of him. And that’s why, maybe because of some sort of karmic payback, he’s often put in troublesome situations. It’s in those sort of situations where it gets hard to hate a character like Nathan, because they make it obvious how messed up his life really is, and why he acts the way he does. It’s also in those situations where his heroic side is more noticeable.
The few moments when he shows more serious behaviour are often triggered by the mention or the presence of his father. Nathan might be a jerk, but at the same time, he can be really caring and protective (like he is with his mother and brother, and with some of the girls he meets). He's got a hidden softer side, and he confessed to Kelly that, while he likes her, he is not very good when it comes to feelings. As the episodes progress, he starts to show more concern for his companions, acting more vulnerable and showing remorse for things that he's done in the past. Other:
- His power is immortality, but when he dies it takes him some time to get back to life. That's why the first time it happened, he woke up trapped in a coffin. However, he can't heal himself; he can only do it when he's completely dead.
-As a result of his powers, he can see phantoms and talk to them as if they were still alive.
-Age is between 18-22, has curly hair, big green puppy dog eyes (http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_le9r3qqATT1qben77o1_500.gif); he's sort of skinny and he smokes.

Character: Megamind Fandom:Megamind Character Notes: History: A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away...
Well, okay, around 30 years ago, in a galaxy not that far away, a planet was collapsing and being sucked into a black hole. So two parents put their 8-day old baby and a fish creature called Minion in an escape pod and sent them off, to eventually land on earth. Perhaps they could have landed in a good home, surrounded by the means to obtain success in life. But no, a kid from another planet got that. Infant Megamind landed in the Metro City prison.
He was adopted by, and received his earliest education from, the prisoners. They fed him, taught him that policemen were bad and robbers good, and gave him tools to use so that he could do things create a tricycle that blasted down the prison walls. He was a felon by the time he was a toddler.
But he was, under supervision, eventually given the chance to go to school. In spite of trying hard to be liked, he was constantly left out and picked on, a situation not helped by his occasional mishaps and the way that the gifted kid from the other planet (the future Metroman) naturally attracted followers who antagonized Megamind. Eventually, Megamind reached the conclusion that it was hopeless to try to fit in, and that being bad was the only thing he was good at. And so in a giant blue puff of smoke, he got himself expelled from school and sent back home to prison. During the rest of his childhood and adolescence, Megamind would attend school off and on, but for the most part he got time to himself in a special prison cell.
In the years to follow, Metroman would become the defender of Metro City, while Megamind would constantly break out of jail and, with Minion, come up with elaborate plans to defeat Metroman and rule the city. These frequently involved the kidnapping of Roxanne Ritchi, the television reporter who was assumed to be dating Metroman. None of them worked. But if Megamind can be counted on to do anything, it's to keep trying.
Personality: Megamind is a big blue ball of supervillain ego covering massive insecurities and, really, a pretty decent guy.
He wants, desperately, to be liked and respected. But from early childhood, the only people who appreciated him were criminals, and he has never really had support from anyone normal. One of the ways he compensates for this is to constantly build up his own ego, paying himself compliments, fishing for them from others, and refusing to admit that he might be wrong or could use help. He knows that he's inferior to Metroman, but he wants to convince someone otherwise.
Megamind believes in destiny. The one thing his parents told him as they sent him away was that he had a destiny. Since he had little success being helpful as a child, and a lot of success being destructive, he figured that his destiny was to be bad. His situation seemed to demand it, so he might as well rise to the occasion and be extravagantly bad. (Note: over the course of canon Megamind begins to see himself more as an individual who can determine things through his choices, but at its beginning he feels more that he is determined by circumstances.)
Megamind is very aware of what his role as villain entails. It means black leather, a lair with blinking dials and tesla coils, complicated schemes involving robots and solar lasers, targeting banks, kidnapping the hero's girlfriend, and losing and getting sent back to prison. He doesn't mind the losses, because he gets to come back from them with something new and better. He does think he wants to win. He's conditioned himself to think that. Winning is the point of epic battles, right? But, thanks to inferiority issues, even he doesn't believe he will win. What Megamind really gains from taking on the role of supervillain is a purpose. He has a way to apply himself, and can gain recognition in what he believes is the only available way. (Note: since the purpose is in the struggle itself, without the struggle Megamind will find himself lost and will eventually seek out a new path in life.)
In spite of all his claims, he's not actually evil. Not seriously evil at least. He puts a lot of effort into the bark, but the bite's not bad. Sure, he'll steal from banks, but he wouldn't mug a person. Yes, he'll cause somewhat controlled property damage, but he'll seldom attack a person and even then he won't really physically hurt someone, just inconvenience them. Kidnapping is okay, but torture or murder is definitely not. Roxanne, when she is abducted, is totally unfazed by the alligators and many pointy instruments of death, because she knows Megamind won't actually hurt her (and that Metroman will rescue her). When in canon Megamind gains control of the city, most of what he does is vandalism and some theft. The city suffers, but primarily because of broken morale and a disrupted bureaucracy. Megamind wouldn't dream of instating some sort of totalitarian regime- he's not mean-spirited. He'd rather live and let live, and outside of the grand game he plays he tends to respect others, and can be a quite agreeable companion. (Note: over time, this spirit of live and let live and respect for others morphs into a belief that lives should be protected.)
By natural inclination, Megamind is a people-pleaser. But through rejection and defeat he's grown incredibly defensive, and thanks to isolation he has almost no concept of how to function in a social environment. He hasn't really seen enough of people to understand how they act and react outside of set situations. If the situation is a new one, or a changed one, he has difficulty adapting and can initially come of very badly, antagonizing others or putting his pride first when he shouldn't (though he'll read up on the right way to approach the situation, if you give him time!). He's energetic overall, and enjoys a benign prank, extended banter, or dancing to classic rock at least as much as he does enacting evil plans.

Character: Roxanne Ritchie Fandom: Megamind Character Notes: History:
Megamind spoilers ahoy o/
Roxanne’s life seems to be compromised of two absolute certainties – she is going to get kidnapped by Megamind and she is going to be rescued by Metro Man. That’s how the story always goes, isn’t it? The girl is kidnapped by the evil mastermind and the handsome, heroic superhero boyfriend swoops in to save the day.
Except Roxanne is hardly a damsel, and Metro Man is hardly her boyfriend.
But we’re really getting off subject here, aren’t we?
This story starts off as so many others do – abducted after delivering her news report, Roxanne is whisked to Megamind’s lair where she is promptly tied to a chair and is used as bait (again) to lure Metro Man into the city’s observatory where Megamind intends to kill him with a death ray comprised of the power of the sun. Fairly standard, really. No one really expects Megamind to succeed, because he never does. Good always conquers and all that jazz.
Except this time it doesn’t. Megamind’s plan seems flawed enough for Metro Man to escape as per routine, but the super proclaims that the inside of the observatory is lined with copper, which he says drains his power. A giant explosion from the Death Ray distracts Roxanne and Megamind, and when the skeleton of Metro Man lands at the feet of Roxanne and Megamind they’re both shocked (along with the rest of the city) that Megamind had actually managed to do it.
Initially, Megamind is happy that he has defeated his archenemy for the first time ever, but he quickly grows depressed over the fact that without someone worthy to fight, his life as a supervillain has no purpose. Coincidentally, he and Roxanne both visit the Metro Man museum late one evening, both sadly lamenting the lost hero. They are both told to scram by the curator Bernard, but while doing so Megamind is nearly caught by Roxanne. As a last ditch attempt to hide himself from her, he disguises himself as Bernard. Their discussion prompts Megamind to brainstorm and come up with a totally failproof plan: create a new superhero to fight using a serum of Metro Man's DNA.
Because nothing about this can go wrong.
Later, hoping to uncover any evil plans Megamind has for the city, Roxanne breaks into Megamind's lair (dragging ‘Bernard’ along for the ride) and fights with him over his syringe gun containing the serum. During the scuffle, the gun is accidentally fired and injected into Roxanne's somewhat dimwitted cameraman Hal Stewart.
Roxanne steals some of Megaminds things and makes a replica of his ‘desk’ in her apartment while she tries to figure out what his plans are. She begins to see ‘Bernard’ and begins to date him, going to dinner and parks and bikeriding with him. While Megamind is wooing Roxanne as Bernard, he is training Tighten and pretending to be is ‘Space Dad’ in order to create a hero worth fighting against. Oh, and he’s also trying to keep Minion from finding out about Bernard and Roxanne.
…This all gets a little convoluted, to be frank.
While on a break from training, Tighten attempts to use his powers to impress Roxanne, but is quickly rejected by her. He sees her and Barnard having dinner together and grows jealous and angry. Roxanne is somewhat aware of this, but she’s told Hal no for so many years that it doesn’t occur to her that he will be fuled by that rejection and eventually turn against the city instead of fighting for it.
During a dinner with Bernard, Megamind’s disguise is shut off and she realizes that it’s been him all along – lying to her and deceiving her. Obviously hurt and feeling very betrayed, she rejects him and walks home in the rain. The relationship seems at a stand still and the animosity is brought back tenfold, though they do team up to go to Metro Man’s secret hideout in order to hunt down clues on how to bring down Tighten, who has begun to wreck havoc.

Re: Sherlock Holmes // BBC's Sherlock // Reserved. 2/??
Character: Sherlock Holmes Fandom: Sherlock (BBC) Character Notes:
History:
SPOILERS FOR SHERLOCK. Also tl;dr.
The series starts through John's perspective. Whilst we have a few snapshots into the things that Sherlock's doing (somehow texting the word 'wrong' to everyone in a certain room at a certain time, and there are conversations about him had by Lestrade and his co-worker), we don't know that it's Sherlock until John meets him.
Sherlock's life before John was mostly the same. He solved cases, chased criminals, got shot at a whole lot, considered his brother an enemy and used too many nicotine patches for his own good. It's not hard to imagine that his life was just as insane as it is now, what with being given hints about previous off-screen cases (the text Sherlock sent using John's phone, Mrs Hudson recalling how Sherlock helped condemn her husband to being jailed, a restaurant owner reliving how Sherlock had him put away too but for a less serious crime). This all suggests that whilst Sherlock was partnerless, he was still very much in the business of solving crimes. It's also assumed that Sherlock needs a partner to allow him to bounce ideas around and to consider the situation from every angle. He complains, at some point, about not having someone to help him with his work during a 'Study in Pink'.
The first time we actually see Sherlock Holmes, is when he's beating a corpse with a riding crop in a hospital morgue. No, really. This, obviously, tells us that Sherlock is... well, a strange young man. He states that he needs someone to monitor the body at all times for any signs of bruising, and should they occur, to call him immediately. The next time he's in view is when he's using scientific equipment (microscopes and then he's shown using a pipette) in the labs upstairs. He's disturbed by two men, Stamford (a man that worked under John in the army) and someone unknown to Sherlock (who turned out to be John Hamish Watson).
Sherlock and John meet through this mutual acquaintance. They both share one the same problem: they need an inexpensive house, preferably in the London borough of Camden. Living in London is horrendously expensive, and with John living on a very basic salary offered by the Royal Army and Sherlock taking cases every other month, the luxury of living alone was quickly wearing thin. So during their initial meeting, Sherlock both wowed and confused John by his intimate knowledge of his life and his issues; one eye flicker told Sherlock that John had just returned from a stint in Afghanistan (or Iraq), that he had a therapist and that his limp was psychosomatic. He also knew that John needed a flat without being prompted, thanks to Stamford's presence. Sherlock leaves in a rush (something about leaving his riding crop in the morgue), but he makes a point to introduce himself dramatically and tell John the address of their new flat, as though he already knows John's going to trundle along and meet him for a second time.
** Sebastian: You're doing that thing. We were at uni together. This guy here had a trick he used to do. Sherlock: It's not a trick. Sebastian: He could look at you and tell your whole life's story. John: Yes, I've seen him do it. Sebastian: Put the wind up everybody. We hated him. You'd come down to breakfast in the formal hall, and this freak would know who you'd been shagging the previous night. - Sebastian, one of Sherlock's old 'friends' from university speaking with John about Sherlock, 'The Blind Banker'.

Character: Blair Waldorf Fandom: Gossip Girl (TV) Character Notes: History: SPOILER WARNING: all seasons/episodes up to and including 4.11. Also, this got lengthy so apologies for that.
Blair was born into an elite family living on the Upper East Side of New York. Growing up an only child, there was very little she wanted for, at least materially. As a young child she got to know the people she now considers to be her closest friends: Chuck Bass, Nate Archibald and Serena Van Der Woodsen. She and Nate became a couple at a very young age - since kindergarten, if Chuck's words in the pilot episode are true and not just hyperbole. Some time during their sophomore year of high school, Serena – her best friend and biggest rival - disappeared and all Blair knew was what Serena's mother Lily told her: she was at a boarding school in Connecticut. To make matters worse, Blair's parents separated after her beloved father was caught out having an affair with a male model, Roman. Harold left for Paris and Blair was left to deal with her pain without her best friend. Nevertheless she made the most of Serena's absence and cemented her position as Queen Bee of Constance Billard.
In her junior year, Blair had to deal with Serena's equally sudden return to the city and the revelation that her best friend and boyfriend had slept together behind her back. Initially hostile, it soon became apparent that Blair was simply lashing out through hurt and anger, particularly in light of what was happening with her parents. Though the pair would still clash, and clash often, at least they were friends again and this would become invaluable as the year went on.
Blair also found herself questioning her relationship with Nate, who grew more and more distant from her. She sought refuge with his best friend Chuck and lost her virginity to him in what she insisted was a one-off mistake. However she soon found herself torn between her long-term, dependable boyfriend and her growing feelings for Chuck. The decision was made for her after a pregnancy scare drove them both away from her, and Blair saw no other option than to leave the city.
Though Serena convinced her to stay, Blair still had to contend with her protégée Jenny usurping her position as Queen Bee. Blair was determined to regain her throne and used Jenny’s deceitfulness against her. A broken Jenny admitted defeat and Blair was free to use her scheming ways to get rid of Georgina Sparks, a former friend of Serena's who seemed set on destroying Serena's life. As summer approached, a heartfelt speech by Chuck during his father’s wedding saw him and Blair on the brink of a relationship, agreeing to go away to Europe together.
Blair also struggled to adjust to her parents’ split – her mother uninvited her father from Thanksgiving after he send divorce papers through and when her father brought his new boyfriend to New York for Christmas, Blair was determined to drive them apart. Eventually, she came around and accepted Roman as part of the family, having been reassured by her father that she wasn’t being shut out.
During the summer, Blair was forced to rethink her holiday plans as Chuck failed to show up as promised. As revenge she arrived at the Hamptons with a new beau in tow, someone she cared little for but used to make Chuck jealous. Before she returned to the city, Blair offered Chuck an ultimatum: if he told her he loved her, she would stay. This set off a game of cat and mouse that would last through their senior year as they attempted to process what they felt for each other. Blair sought distraction with her summer fling Lord Marcus, although this soon fell by the wayside and she was drawn once again to Chuck. Their games continued until Chuck’s father died and Blair became a rock for him through the difficult time. She even told him she loved him but he was too wrapped up in his grief and left the city.
Blair did all she could to find him, enlisting the help of Chuck's uncle Jack, but when he returned she found him dismissive of her attempts to take care of him and, through Jack’s manipulation, he eventually pushed Blair to her limit. She told him she could no longer support him and turned her attention to Yale. Yale was her dream college and when a new English teacher arrived and gave Blair her first ever B grade she couldn’t cope. Blair sought revenge but in doing so she ruined whatever chance had remained of her attending Yale. In desperation she flew off the rails but was eventually convinced that her future was not over. Cyrus Rose, her mother's new boyfriend and eventual husband, had contacts at NYU. Blair had initially been horrified that her mother could date someone like Cyrus but he eventually won her over and she grew to accept him.
She also found solace with Nate and dated him again for a time, although by prom she realised that they had no future together. By then, she had confronted Chuck about the nature of their relationship and had accepted his word when he had told her it was just a game, but still she found herself unable to let go. And so, as high school graduation loomed, Blair decided to give Chuck one last chance to set things right. A Gossip Girl blast threatened to ruin everything as it was revealed that Chuck had slept with Vanessa and Blair had slept with Jack Bass, but Chuck surprised her with gifts he had travelled to Europe to procure and finally told her he loved her. Concerned that they would lose interest without their usual games, they spent the first months together using other girls to spark drama that fuelled their passion but eventually they realised they could not continue that way and settled into being a committed couple.
Despite appearing not to care about the trivialities of social order all year, Blair made a point of taking charge when it came to naming her successor. She eventually chose Jenny Humphrey as the new Queen of Constance Billard and set her sights on conquering NYU. But Blair found it difficult to fit into college life and so when word reached her that Jenny had thrown aside the social hierarchy she couldn’t help but interfere. Chuck soon caught up to her and reminded her that she didn't need to revert to high school to find herself, and so Blair looked to other means to ensure she made an impact at NYU.
Things with Chuck were far from perfect, though. The anniversary of Bart's death saw conflict between them but this was soon pushed aside as Chuck’s mother arrived in New York. Chuck was naturally reluctant to let her in, particularly as he had thought her to be dead, but Blair gently persuaded him to give the woman a chance. It soon turned out, however, that Elizabeth's reappearance was not mere coincidence - Jack had used her so he could gain control of the Empire hotel. The couple faced their toughest crisis yet as Blair found herself an unwitting participant in Chuck’s plan to get his hotel back – he had promised Jack a night with Blair in exchange but, knowing Blair would never have agreed if he had asked her, he had left Jack to approach Blair knowing she would do anything for the man she loved. Blair could not believe that Chuck could have been so ruthless and their relationship was severely damaged.

Character: Rose Marion Tyler Fandom: Doctor Who Character Notes: History: Rose Tyler was born on the 27th of April, 1987. According to her, nothing of importance happened in her first nineteen years. Her father was killed in a hit-and-run accident before her first birthday, and she was raised in a small London flat by her diligent mother. Her greatest academic accomplishment was earning the bronze in a junior school under seven's gymnastics challenge, and an unwise romantic association caused her to drop out of high school without graduating. The romance also landed her in enough debt that she needed to combine her mother's work and her own to pay it off.
Although she'd never know it, her life was full of time travel. When she was twelve, a mysterious person (her mother simply said 'Father Christmas') left her a red bicycle for Christmas, when her mother hadn't the money to buy it. Eventually, she would learn her mysterious benefactor was the Doctor, but what she would never know was the strange figure that occasionally observed her on the playground through childhood and on her first date was a friend she'd one day make--who was stranded in the past. She would also never know that the strange drunk she encountered on New Years day of 2005, was also the Doctor, who'd come to see her one last time before regenerating. Furthermore, she even traveled back to her own past and changed the circumstances of her father's death--staying by his side until he died, and causing the driver to stay until authorities arrived as well. Given the circumstances of the change, it's unclear whether her memories of her mother telling her the stories of her father were added to, or were unaffected.
By the time she was nineteen, she worked at Henrik's Department store, had a relationship with long-time friend Mickey Smith, and lived with her mother in the Powell Estate. Her only experiences traveling were a school trip to France and an annual holiday week with her Mother to South Wales.
In the Summer of 2005, everything in her life changed. Late one night, in the basement of the department store she worked in, she was attacked by living mannequins. She was narrowly saved by a strange man who called himself the Doctor, who then helped her escape the building. Afterward, the building was destroyed in an explosion, leaving her unemployed. The Doctor reappeared the next morning and again saved her life from a remnant of the mannequins that attacked her the night before. This time she followed him and demanded more information, but he remained cryptic. After only a brief explanation of the living plastic and of himself, he vanished into thin air, leaving her all the more curious.
Determined to find answers, despite his instructions to forget him, she turned to the internet to find more information on him. In her search, she found a man who compiled information on the Doctor, named Clive Finch. Even he could only tell her that 'the Doctor' appeared throughout time on Earth, tracked through photographs, and that wherever the Doctor went danger followed. His thought that the Doctor was somehow an immortal, however, led Rose to conclude he was simply a conspiracy theorist, and therefore her trail of information on the Doctor ended.
She didn't have to wait long for more answers, however, as it turned out her boyfriend Mickey had been replaced with a plastic duplicate of himself, and she had to be rescued--again--by the Doctor. This time, they had to escape by retreating to his ship, the TARDIS (not before she tripped the fire alarm in the pizzeria she and the Mickey duplicate had gone to, though, to keep the other patrons safe). Her introduction to the Doctor's world was overshadowed by the fact that she believed the plastic-people killed the real Mickey to replace him.
Although she fought with the Doctor for awhile over his apparent nonchalance to the fact that Mickey had been killed, she still helped him find the Nestene Consciousness, which controlled all of the living plastic, by spotting the hidden-in-plain-sight broadcaster. She again chafed against the Doctor's methods when she discovered Mickey still alive in the Nestene's chamber, and realized the Doctor simply hadn't thought to mention Mickey might still be alive. Still, when the Doctor's plan to stop the Nestene's invasion failed and the Consciousness started a wholesale invasion on Earth, Rose stepped in, using the gymnastic skills she still possessed, to save the Doctor's life and destroy the Nestene Consciousness.
Despite the close call and her disagreements with the Doctor, however, Rose loved the experience. When the Doctor asked if she wanted to go traveling with him throughout all of space, she almost agreed. Almost. In the end, despite her desire to travel with the Doctor, she chose her responsibility to her mother and Mickey, and let the Doctor vanish in his magical machine with a heavy heart.
When he reappeared a few moments later to make the offer again (It also traveled in time, he thought she ought to know), however, she ran to join him with a smile, and never truly looked back.
On her first trip with the Doctor, he took her to the year five billion, the day the Earth was swallowed by the sun. The Doctor upgraded her phone so that she could speak to her mother in the past--a gift made morbid when she realized her mother was five billion years dead where she stood now--and Rose was nearly killed herself when the observation satellite was sabotaged. Yet, what most moved her in the experience was the fact that, due to the sabotage, no one was looking when Earth died. The loss gave her some small perspective of the Doctor, when he revealed his own planet was lost in war. It was one of the first moments she truly bonded with the Doctor. He took her out for chips then, when she bounced back from the future destruction of Earth and later she and the Doctor would refer to it as their 'first date'.
Rose next found herself in Cardiff, caught in a ghost story with Charles Dickens, and yet again nearly lost her life. In the process, she once again fought with the Doctor's differing morals, and bonded more while trapped in a cellar, attacked by ghost-zombies.
When Rose tried to come home to visit her mother only twelve hours later, she found herself instead twelve months later and a missing person. Her shock lasted only long enough for a timely alien invasion, and an attempt to destroy Earth. They only narrowly averted it, through a gamble that nearly killed her and the Doctor both. When they left Earth again it was with her mother and boyfriend's full knowledge, and a full backpack of supplies.
Together, they traveled to the future and found the last Dalek in existence, of the creatures who warred with and destroyed the Doctor's people. Despite the Doctor's hatred of the creature, Rose found compassion for its pitiable state, and through an accidental impression of DNA, began a change in it for the better. When she stopped the Doctor from trying to kill the Dalek, she learned that he was the one to destroy his own world, though not why. Still, all that mattered to her was that he was almost willing to kill a repentant creature. When they left the museum that housed the Dalek, Rose convinced the Doctor to take along an attractive young scientist there, named Adam, but she soon regretted the decision. When they traveled to the future and saved the human race from oppression by a Jagrafess, Adam tried to take crucial information back to the past for his own gain, and even her inherent compassion had no issue with the Doctor leaving Adam behind at his home.
A short time later, when the Doctor asked Rose when she would like to go, she told the Doctor the story of her father's death, and asked to go back to see her father. When he complied and took her back to see her parents' wedding, she got up the courage to ask to see her father's death, and be there for him when he died--as he'd died alone in the street. When he took her there, however, she was overwhelmed by the sight and couldn't manage to go to him in time.

Character Notes: History: Crowley, or "Crawly" as he was known back then, began 'life' as an angel. He didn't mean to Fall. He just hung out with the crowd and ended up not Falling so much as sauntering vaguely downward, which, in the end, turned out to be more or less the same thing as Falling. He was good at tempting people - a major failing in an angel but a good way to get work as a demon, and so with Earth newly formed and everything all nice and fresh, Hell sent him up to go and "make some trouble". And boy did he ever make some trouble. Under the guise of the Serpent, he found himself in the Garden of Eden, and there was some business with a Tree of Knowledge and some Forbidden Fruit, and what do you know but there went Paradise. One discussion with a certain angel later, and Crawly was left wondering what exactly had happened, and - perhaps more troublesome - if he'd somehow managed to do the Right Thing. (A demon could get in a lot of trouble, doing the right thing.)
A few thousand years later - quite a few of them, in fact - and Crawly had at some point decided that Crawly just didn't suit him. It was time for a new name and a new image. He'd been spending a lot of time on Earth, after all, and Serpents were a bit passé. Under the guise of a human, he set about doing what he supposedly did best - securing souls for Hell. Trouble was, he was growing rather fond of humans, and anyway, they were so much better at damning themselves. He got a commendation for the Spanish Inquisition - and he hadn't even been there at the time.
Somewhere around 1000 AD, he and Aziraphale had come to a sort of Arrangement, because they were both far from home and only in passing contact with their respective superiors, and anyway they had more in common with each other than they had with anyone back home. They'd meet up every once in a while, compare notes, have lunch, and if occasionally one of them did the other's job for him, well, it was all getting done in the end so who cared how it got done?
Everything was going splendidly, or at least as nicely as it could be, considering the devilry humans managed to get up to, and things probably would have continued on nicely, except for one tiny little detail.
Okay, maybe not that tiny.
Crowley was summoned by Hastur and Ligur - two Dukes of Hell - who had a special package for Crowley to deliver: the Antichrist. He took the Antichrist to the Chattering Order of St. Beryl (a sect of Satanic nuns) and presumably, that would be that. The nuns made a mistake in switching out babies, however, and the Antichrist wound up getting lost in the shuffle, a complication that Crowley was blissfully unaware of, having buggered off as soon as the tiny little Antichrist had been delivered.
And after that, he panicked. Or rather, he didn't precisely panic, but he was very close to it, and so he sought out the one person on all of - pardon his French - God's green Earth who'd understand. Aziraphale. It took all the powers of persuasion Crowley had, but he finally managed to convince Aziraphale that it would be a really, really good idea to try and thwart Hell's plans, and the two wound up overseeing the false Antichrist's upbringing. Crowley worried that the child was too normal; Aziraphale felt that it was his good influence on the child that kept him so normal. The truth came out at the false Antichrist's eleventh birthday party, when the Hellhound that had been sent to stay by the boy and protect him from all harm didn't show up where it should have. Or rather, it showed up where it should have, and everything else was all wrong.
